“Melissa is wonderful, kind and loving dog sitter. I have a 5 month old puppy that has been weined off crate training and Melissa had no problem respecting that. Melissa and her husband have a large fenced in property where the dogs can run and play. Melisssa and her husband are generous with their home in terms of giving them comfortable space. I was updated all day with pictures and videos. Melissa carefully understands each dogs personality when she groups them for a stay. My pup had a great time and when I picked her up my pup gave Melissa a big cuddle and I could see my dog genuinely had developed an affection for Melissa. To me that's the number one reason we will look to Melissa and her husband for future dog sitting.”

“Our puppy, Arlo stayed with Lauren and Beau while we attended a wedding in NYC. She has a beautiful home with a fenced in yard that allows for plenty of outdoor play time. Both Arlo and Beau got on well together and Lauren sent plenty of photos and videos of the two of them having a great time. It was clear that Lauren treated Arlo as one of her own and we will certainly let him go and stay with her again. Overall, just a wonderful experience and highly recommend her to others.”

“Toni and family watched our 1 yr old Staffy, Rocky while we went away on vacay for about 5 days. We got regular pics and updates on how he was doing which helped with peace of mind. Rocky was on a special diet and meds due to tummy issues a couple of weeks prior and Toni was very accommodating. She also kept Rocky separate from her dogs due to him not being used to having to share space with other pups which I appreciated. Living in Port Jefferson has only increased my appreciation for neighborhood pups - it is an instant mood boost to see other dogs out and about. After an incredible year of receiving care from Rover ourselves, we are opening our home to take the best weekend care of your pup while you are away! We walk our own dogs every 2-3 hours, and can adjust to the schedule that your pup needs for exercise and feeding. Additional availability during the week especially over winter break! With two friendly dogs of our own, we NEVER leave the dogs unattended. One or both of us will be present at all times. Dogs are happily allowed on furniture, but there are plenty of soft dog beds available for snoozing as well.
