About: Calm, experienced, loving, empathic and conscientious - I am your dog’s next best friend 🩷 I’ve trained Australian Shepherd’s since I was 13, reaching amateur level junior competitions throughout high school. Today I have two rescue dogs of my own - a border collie mix and a beagle /chihuahua/pit mix (lots of energy). Because of my two dogs, I hike everyday. I love spending time outside in nature with animals, and will be sure to keep your pup happy and healthy! I am an organic vegetable farmer during the growing season (April-November) and work seasonal odd jobs and non profit work when I am in the off season. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and love to walk/hike/swim/adventure at all times of day and during any weather. In my house, pets rule. We have done agility, obedience and scent training with both dogs so I have a lot of tools in my toolbox to keep a dog busy and occupied.

“Logan did a great job caring for our shih tzu while we were away. He was gentle and caring with her and sent regular updates and pictures! He stayed at our home with our dog and when we returned we found our home was spotless. We could tell how much our dog loved him by her run back and forth when he came over after we got home! She takes the time out of her day to make sure they get plenty of attention and time outside to play. She also stays at our house when she watches the dogs and the house is always in great shape afterwards too. “Andrew was very good with our nearly three-year-old Imhotep. "Imo" is a Basenji (a breed known for being challenging at times) who suffers from separation anxiety. Andrew stayed in contact with us from the beginning to the end of our time away and actively worked with us to resolve any minor issues that came up. He also sent much-appreciated photographs every day. We are grateful that he was able to make adjustments to accommodate Imo's special needs and we were pleased (and relieved) to return home to a happy and contented dog - a very, very different experience from our prior kennel boarding experiences. Chelsea is not only a highly responsible, dependable, and effective caretaker, she is also extremely loving, caring, patient, and kind with pets of all shapes and sizes. Chelsea has acted as caretaker for my dog Lemon countless times while we lived together (I literally refer to her as Auntie Chelsea), and is still beloved by Lemon every time they are reunited. Lemon is an anxious, slightly high maintenance 9yo chihuahua/mini pinscher girlie who doesn't take quickly to other people, and Chelsea is one of the few individuals beyond myself that she loves and trusts enough to be walked by, pet by, cared for, etc., and likewise is one of the few people I can confidently entrust Lemon's care to. Fun bonus fact: Chelsea is responsible for having taught Lemon 90% of the tricks she knows! I can't think of any other person to whom animals of any and all dispositions and all shapes and sizes take so easily to, or who would make a better pet sitter. Your pets will absolutely be in the best of hands with Chelsea!”

About: I have volunteered at numerous shelters caring for many different dog breeds and ages. I have had pet rabbits for 4 years and currently house 3 bunnies. Very available during the day and need a distraction from real life and animals help me deal with stress. Would love to help care for dogs since I can’t house one myself. My bunnies in my home live better than me. They are in my bedroom so for temporary arrangements your dog would have the rest of my apartment to play.
