About: I have been around animals my entire life. I have experience with large and small dogs, as well as goats, horses, pigs, rabbits, birds, fish, and cats. I have done extended sitting for family friends for years with over 20 animals to look after and take care of. I am comfortable with big or small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. I have an open schedule for the summer and am available M-F 10am-5pm. If you need weekend care please contact me and I can see if I can make it work. Growing up with various dogs I have had experience with different temperaments. Shy, nervous, active, and senior dogs. I currently have a very active Siberian Husky who always wants to play and who am I to deny him of that. I want to make sure your dog can trust me as a safe person and be comfortable the entire time.

About: My lifelong connection with dogs has provided extensive experience in caring for pups of diverse ages and breeds. I've nurtured and cherished these furry companions, catering to their individual needs and unique personalities. Whether engaging in playful activities or providing comforting companionship, I prioritize their well-being and happiness. Balancing pet sitting alongside my healthcare profession has become a harmonious part of my daily routine. Despite the demanding nature of healthcare, I've structured my schedule efficiently to accommodate pet sitting commitments seamlessly. Utilizing my free time before or after shifts, weekends, and flexible hours, I ensure ample availability to cater to the needs of furry companions entrusted to my care. This balancing act has instilled discipline and organization, allowing me to transition smoothly between my healthcare responsibilities and the joyous task of nurturing and looking after pets. It's a fulfilling complement to my healthcare career, providing moments of relaxation and joy amidst the rigors of my profession while upholding my commitment to both pet welfare and patient care When caring for pets in an owner's absence, I'm dedicated to understanding their routines, dietary needs, and preferences. I maintain their schedules, feeding routines, and engage in activities they enjoy, whether it's walks, playtime, or medication administration. Prioritizing their well-being and happiness, I also ensure a clean home, respect the owner's space, and provide regular updates for peace of mind

About: * Please note that I have recently changed my services. I am now only offering boarding for one family at a time (up to 4 dogs from the same household). This will allow me to focus on your fur baby/babies without you worrying about other pets joining that might not be a good match. My dogs you will see at our meet and greet will be the only ones that will be present during your pet's stay. I believe this allows for greater peace of mind. ** We will be adding a kitten to our family mid-May. If your dog has known aggression towards cats, then we will not be a good fit. Growing up as an only child, my pets were my siblings. One of my favorite memories was playing hide-and-go seek with my Black Lab. My mom would hold him while I hid, and then she'd say "Where's Steff?!" I have had dogs my entire adulthood as well. We recently had to say goodbye to our 15 year old pup. We currently have 2 dogs: Nugget, a Golden Retriever, and Domino, a Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix. I don't like to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty confident that I am my dogs' favorite. Domino is my shadow and has to know where I am at all times. I have raised all of my dogs as puppies and had to do more specialized senior care with my dog that recently passed away. I am comfortable with giving dogs medications, if needed. I am a homemaker so I have the flexibility to make sure that I am home when needed. I can alter my errands and chores to accommodate my furry visitors and friends. Additionally, my husband works from home so he is also available to help if needed. I have a large fenced yard that my two big dogs love. There's many a squirrel to be chased! Even so, I will monitor your pets outside to ensure their safety. My dogs are not crate-trained, but I do have a small, medium, and large cage available should your pet need them. I will NOT use a crate unless your pet is used to them.
18. Alyssa G.
“I cannot recommend Alyssa enough! She is absolutely fantastic with my fur babies and I never have to worry while I'm away. She’s definitely my first choice when it comes to caring for my pets. She is extremely dependable, always shows up on time and follows my pet care instructions to a tee. I can trust that my pets are in good hands when she is taking care of them. She truly loves animals and it shows in the way she interact with my pets. She goes above and beyond to make sure my pets are happy and comfortable while I'm away. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter. She’s truly the best!”
