“Christina was incredibly accommodating, and took excellent care of Lillian, who was a little stressed over being someplace new for the first time. Wish I lived in the area so I could book her again; Christina was excellent and communicates well (and sent photos during the stay, which was a bonus!)”
2. Suzann Z.
“My dogs just completed 2 days of day care with Suzann, and have a 5 day stay coming up with her soon. I’m so nervous to leave my pups, but she has been amazing with communicating, taking the time to get to know us, and being so accommodating and kind. I’m so relieved I found her and I feel so much better about my upcoming trip!”
3. Jenny O.
“Jenny was great and she sent updates and pictures of Lucy. Super flexible and centrally located so pretty quick drive from almost anywhere in the city. Will totally request her as a sitter again!”
4. Andrea G.
“Buddy was so happy to see Andrea this morning! Her dog is a sweetheart. Buddy has a best friend:)”
5. Marina M.
“Marina is fabulous!! My dog is a very anxious boy and has separation anxiety. He immediately took to Marina and her dog Mochi! Marina provided me with tons of updates and photos throughout the day which eased this nervous momma’s worries. I’m looking forward to having Marina (and Mochi) be Salem’s sitters moving forward!! I especially love that Marina only watches one client’s pets at a time that way I know Salem won’t be anxious around additional animals while he visits.”
6. Myrna G.
“Shelby is a covid dog and not socialized with other dogs at all. Myrna is very patient with her and pairs her with other dogs to teach her how to act. She spends the entire time with the dogs and has a great backyard for them to play in. Highly recommend!”
7. Natalie & Zachary J.
“Natalie responds very promptly and is a pleasure to work with.”
8. Lori G.
“Absolutely some of the best caretaking Charlie has had! Lori was great with Charlie. We met beforehand with her sweet pup to make sure the dogs would get along, and I really appreciated her thoroughness and quick communication. During his stay, Charlie got to run around and play with other dogs at her home and her family’s farm, but also had time to rest and relax. He was such a happy boy when we picked him up and slept the whole way home! 10/10 would recommend Lori!!”
9. Tiffany U.
“Tiffany took great care of Zion. He was happy and tired when I picked him up ~ a perfect combination!”
10. Cha Cha P.
“Cha Cha and Angel treated my pup with such care and love! She was walked and played with multiple times each day, given yummy treats, and loved on like family. They sent updates and kept me informed. I never had a worry! I will easily choose them again to watch my doggo.”
11. Kaitlin W.
“Kimba had a great time with Kaitlyn. She took great care of Kimba and sent pictures throughout the day. Kaitlyn is very responsive and makes me feel at ease. Kimba has a lot of separation anxiety and it was clear from the photos and when we picked her up that she’d had a great day. I know Kimba was in good hands with Kaitlyn. I’d use her again next time we are in town.”

About: I’ve walked dogs for many years in the past and dog sit regularly for family members or friends that are going out of town. I love all animals and love playing around with them or just relaxing on the couch with them. I’m currently working other part-time jobs but none of them will impact working for rover and I will be able to pay full attention to all the pets. I have an energetic but loving Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Rosie and a Kitten named Athena who won’t bother the dogs at all because she’ll just hide out somewhere.
13. Becca R.
“Becca is the best! I never worry about Earl when he’s with Becca. I really appreciate getting photos and videos from her during Earl’s stay. And Becca’s dog Sawyer is so sweet, Earl gets along great with him. Becca is always my go-to sitter!”
14. James R.
About: I work from home mostly but when I do work at the office I go home hourly to tend to my fur baby. Mine gets very emotional when leaving and I return so I like to make it short when I am away so he remains satisfied. Very spoiled and yours will feel the same. I’ve grown up with dogs , my grandfather was a breeder/trainer, so I gained a lot of experience when growing up. I can’t recall a single time in my life not having a dog by my side. Keeping our fur babies happy keeps the world a little more happy and united! Please feel free to give special instructions or details! My dog is like a child to me and yours will be the same I’m currently not able to work full time so I’m doing part time from home and it’s very flexible when I need to step away I can with no questions asked! I provide them with care and love while making sure all their needs are met whether it be there meds, food, water, or potty time!
15. Reese G.
“So friendly and she took great day of our sweet puppy!”
16. Michaela K.
About: I grew up with cats (4 at a time), and once I moved to my own place I adopted my first dog (a senior deaf mini poodle)! I now own a full size poodle, and live with a very wonderful black cat! I’m experienced in elderly animal care, as well as acclimating rescues into the home. I love to cuddle all fur babies, but understand if yours like to chill on their own! I work remotely 75% of the time (and I set my own travel schedule so no surprises). I am able to care for your pets during lunch time and after work. If special times are needed they can be arranged in advance! In my own home my pup gets walked 4 times a day, we love to hike! You would set the pace for your own dog, I will adjust to what they need physically.
17. Kaitlyn C.
“We’re on a road trip and we decided to go see the Mega Caverns, so yesterday we asked Kaitlyn if she could dog sit for us. She was so great to work with, especially with us being on a time crunch! I can tell our pup had a great time!”
18. Mark B.
“I've known Mark for several years and know that he would make an excellent dog sitter. He has had his own dogs for over 10 years so he is familiar with the needs of dogs at various stages in their lives. I have a 9 yr old Boston Terrier that Mark has watched for me on many occasions and sometimes for an extended periods of time. I believe Mark would make an excellent dogsitter!”
19. Madison G.
“I didn't leave my three dogs with anyone until Madison stayed with them one weekend... Madison is organized, caring, dependable and the most loving animal person ever! My dogs love her.... not to mention the cats and chickens!!... You can't go wrong with your beloved pets in her care....She's just THE BEST!!!”

About: We love dogs of all types and we understand that it is tough letting them out of your sight for even 1 night, so be assured that they will be well taken care of with walks and of course play time!! We are a professional couple who have very flexible schedules and a 5 year old Pug who just loves to meet new friends! We have both been dog owners our entire lives. My wife's family bred champion Weimaraner's when she was growing up and our first dog had medical issues (seizures) so we are adept with dogs that have to take medications. We live right next to Huntley Meadows park, the largest park operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority, and we enjoy walking our dog there all four seasons! The last picture in our profile is from one such walk.
