About: I’ve had my own dogs over the past 16 years. I began dog sitting for my cousin’s mixed breed dog when they took family trips. I then began to dog sit for several parents from a pre-school I used to work for. That journey began in 2017 and continues to this day. In the fall of 2022, I became a volunteer for Louisville Metro to take dogs on community field trips to help them get adopted. Simply put: I LOVE DOGS 🦮🐕🦺 I work from home with occasional travel. My availability is pretty flexible. Tuesdays require a lot of my attention on the computer, so this may not be the best day for your furry family if they are in need of great attention. Otherwise, I have the ability to build my work schedule and work in much needed love and attention for your fur baby. I can pet sit in your home but also have a fenced in backyard at my own house. If your dog is ok being around other dogs, I frequent the dog park bar off Baxter and love to take frequent walks in my neighborhood. If not, we can do a more quiet outing that suits your puppers needs.
7. Myrna G.
“My husband and I are traveling in our RV and had booked a tour at the Louisville sluger Museum. So I opened my trusty Rover app and was fortunate to find marvelous Myrna!! My 2 girls (Havanese) had a wonderful time being spoiled and loved by Myrna in her home. Marna sent many pictures and I felt 100% comfortable that my girls were in good hands and I could enjoy our tour. Highly recommend! Would leave more than five stars if possible.”

11. Christina G.
“Christina was incredibly accommodating, and took excellent care of Lillian, who was a little stressed over being someplace new for the first time. Wish I lived in the area so I could book her again; Christina was excellent and communicates well (and sent photos during the stay, which was a bonus!)”
12. Rachel N.
“Rachel is a compassionate and empathetic soul. She has loved doggos all over the world and then some. Aside from rescuing her own dogs in Myanmar, she found time to work closely with the shelter there. She has formed bonds with puppers that go beyond the superficial and is highly capable to adapting to all kinds of situations. Dogs with her will definitely be in capable hands.”

About: My family is a family of dog lovers, having owned them since I was a child. With 20+ years of experience of handling and living with dogs, you can be sure that your beloved pet will be safe and loved in my home. I am currently studying for technical certifications, and spend most of my time at home with my dog Gus. First thing in the morning, Gus gets a potty break, and while he is out, he gets fresh water, and his breakfast is ready when he comes back inside. I have done my best to make sure Gus has a steady routine and gets plenty of opportunities for outside time and bathroom breaks, as well as eating at roughly the same time every day. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated to the same accommodations that my dog is. I have a corner lot house with a fenced in backyard, with plenty of room for multiple dogs to be able to move freely or frolic about as they choose. I always ensure that Gus has toys, a clean bed to sleep in, and food and water available. If Gus wants to be by himself, he also has access to his crate, which is like his safe space. When you trust me with your pet, I will make sure that they have access to all of the same things my dog does, and has everything they need to make their stay as close to home as possible.

“Jozy was fabulous in taking care of my high maintenance dog. I got pictures and texts about how my dog was doing. I felt totally comfortable leaving Shelby in the care of Jozy and wish she lived closer to take care of Shelby now! You cannot go wrong with using Jozy as your dog sitter!! She was attentive to details and asked many questions on the front end to be prepared for my dog. Highly recommend!!”
18. Katelyn K.
“When looking into rover I was extremely apprehensive. I know Rover takes a large percentage from the sitter’s end pay. I really wanted someone that took this seriously and kind of gave a bang for my buck if you will. I didn’t want someone getting just 15$ to come in let my dogs out and leave. I’d rather just pay someone what they are worth and them give my dogs a great time as well as give myself peace of mind. Her house is set up perfectly for dog care. Beds, toys, little pools, dog gates, it’s really nice. My dog really loves going over there, she even made her sweet potato and rice for lunch. Kate always let’s Sadie sleep with her in their guest bedroom which it think is very sweet. She also always sends our baby home with new toys and she’s happy and tired out. Sometimes she doesn’t want to leave Kate’s couch. When Kate and her wife come to take our dogs out and check on my cats she sends awesome pictures and she is always giving them tons and tons of love, attention, and exercise. Which is very important to me. Kate is just passionate about all animals, different sizes, ages, breeds. She’s a big asset to me and I highly recommend you getting her number and using her so you can know for a fact your pets are safe and happy. I can’t thank her enough.”

“I've never met anyone as passionate and loving of dogs as Emily. She is sure to provide any dog with substantial cuddles, kisses, and praise. Emily is very responsible when it comes to giving pets what they need, and is sure to treat your dogs as if they were her own fur babies. I can think of no one I'd rather care for my pups.”
