About: I have had a dog in my household for nearly half my life and I will always treat them with the same love and care as you would a child! My dog means the world to me. I’m currently home from college for the summer and do not start my full time job until mid June, so I pretty much have no other obligations and lots of free time to spend doing my favorite thing! I have experience looking after my dog as a young puppy, and also her now at an older age. I will make sure we are safe on walks (with pulling and such) and know how to calm a dog down as needed, while being gentle and understanding to each dog’s specific needs!

About: I love all animals. I have a 10 year old Beagle Blue Heeler mix named Annie. Zeke is my brothers pitbull, he’s only 4 years old and much bigger than my Annie. Looking to earn income doing something I love. I’m very situationally aware, and would never put a dog at risk of another dog attack. I have seen dog attack’s and stopped them, having to bring my girlfriends Pitbull to the vet after he was attacked in his own yard by his 3 neighbor dogs who got loose. I work monday through friday, so weekends only to start. If this pans out, i’ll start doing walks after work, 6pm to 11pm. Prefer a regular routine. I have seen firsthand dog attacks and broken them up. My annie has been attacked by loose figs and my girlfriend’s dog has also been attacked. This would be the #1 thing i try to prevent.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since freshman year of highschool. I started with a family friend in the neighbor and then word spread so I started working for other families in my town as well!! They have relied on me to feed, walk, play, and sleep over with their pets to ensure their pets are happy and all taken care of. My family also had a cat, Tux who was my best friend growing up—never had a dog growing up which is why I love pet sitting! For the month of July I am a camp counselor so that limits my hours during the week from 8:30-4pm. Besides that I am mostly open!! I will give your pet all the love they want! I love playing or simply relaxing with my clients pets. I try my best to cater to their needs.

“Marissa is a wonderful pet caregiver who takes great care of my Beagle, Savannah when I’m away! She absolutely loves her, and there’s no one else I would trust to remember all her needs. On top of that, her love for all animals is clear as day. She’s very nurturing, and I’ve literally seen her rescue two large dogs off the street (one of which was injured, as her paw got run over) and nurse each back to health, providing a loving home until her search for the dog’s owners finally came to an end nearly a week later. She’s just a great person who takes excellent care of her own dog, Newt, as well, so I doubt anyone would ever have to worry about their pet in her hands.”
