About: My family had beagles since before I was born! I grew up helping to take care of our animals, with the added experience of learning from beagles, which aren’t always the easiest dogs. I’ve watched neighbors cats and dogs, and here in Jackson have multiple families that I watch pet for regularly. These are cats, dogs, both, I’ve even cared for rats! I deeply care for animals and will make sure your pet gets the best care possible. My schedule is flexible, I will absolutely be able to provide care in the morning, evening and night time, and can likely provide an afternoon walk as well, if needed. About: I’ve taken care of several pets throughout my life. Prior to moving to Jackson, I lived in Denver and I treated my roommate’s dog — Trixie— (cute Yorkie) as essentially my own! Trixie and I went on walks together; I’d occasionally take her out if her mom was unavailable, and I’d dog sit her when her mom went on vacations/trips. I love matching a dog’s energy whether that includes cuddling with them, taking them on walks/hikes, or playing in the park. I’m a sucker for giving them treats but am VERY strict about no human food and adhering to whatever dietary restrictions they have! Dogs are my therapy; caring for them happy makes me happy. I work a remote job Mon-Thurs and am therefore available to work from anywhere (even your home!) whenever you need me to. I am off every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and can make myself available all day! I always ensure I’m aware of a dog’s walking behaviors. I never walk without a leash and do not allow them to go off lease and in a public setting until I know I’m comfortable with them. I never give in to begging for human food and always ensure I shut crates appropriately as desired by the owner. I often reward puppies with small treats for positive enforcing behavior.

“Cierra is a responsible and wonderful pet sitter! She cared for my Sadie Dog for over two weeks. Sadie became very attached to Cierra. Cierra took her on runs, hikes, and out to lakes and rivers to let my water loving dog swim around. Cierra even made a cozy bed for her to sleep in, surrounded by her favorite toys. She updated me with photos often.”

We have 2 dogs: Lucy who is 15 and Mazie who is 11. We have started to travel more and she has made our lives easier knowing our dogs are in excellent hands when we leave town. We get updates and photos on how our girls are doing while we are gone. Debby stays at the house to be sure our dogs get all the love and care we would normally provide. About: Had pets since the age of five. I have taken care of young animals up to geriatric with health problems. Always communicative with owners and keen on paying attention to animal demeanor. I do not have any pets so my attention is solely focused on the care of your furbaby! Unfortunately, I do work 8 hours Sunday through Thursday, so lunch visits are not possible for my schedule. I always walk on a leash unless I’m a fenced yard. I also am good at keeping kitties who try to escape inside the house!
