“Dana is a fantastic dog sitter! I had to find last minute boarding for my two dogs, and Dana was super responsive. She took such great care of my dogs, giving them so much love - nightly massages and lots of cuddles. My 2 year old retriever had recent abdominal surgery and still had his stitches in. Dana did a great job making sure he was exercised but not too crazy to risk ripping out his stitches. Not an easy task with all the puppy energy! I will absolutely use Dana again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a good amount of time. I love getting outside and walking with the pups and making sure they get a through amount of excercise. On my free time I’ve house sat for old bosses and friends that have taken off for vacation making sure their pups are well taken care of and happy while their owners are away. I am currently working as a freelancer. I have a flexible schedule and like to get outside early for walks while it’s quiet. I also like to make sure that the clients pets get enough time outside and are comfortable and happy while their owner is away. Making sure that the clients pet is happy is a priority. I like to keep a keen eye on clients pets and make sure their pets are comfortable and happy. Allowing for outdoor time in the yard and also double checking to make sure that they are well hydrated while going outside to play.

About: I absolutely adore cats and their many forms and quirks. My mom would always joke that despite my allergies, I would always bury my face into any available kitty. I have now grown out of the allergies, but not the cat love! I do pride myself on observing their tendencies, as cats can be elusive in their ailments. I also have experience on giving them medicine.

About: i have a beagle and a blue heeler of my own, so I’ve seen it all when it comes to crazy pups! i absolutely love to spend time with furry friends, especially watching them do what they love whether that’s the dog park, hikes, walks, or laying on the couch all day I have a set work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm. I can do long walks before work and after work and anytime on the weekends. i have my own 5 year old beagle and 3 year old australian cattle dog at home who loves to play with other pups so yours won’t be lonely! i also have a couple crates if you need your dog to be crated if i leave.

“Okay, Rachel is AMAZING. Im from Denver, CO and drove to Jackson for a half marathon. I brought my puppy, Rowan, with me to have a fun filled memorable experience with him in Jackson but being that half marathons don't allow dogs to run the course, I needed a pet sitter that would be willing to wake up super early to allow me to drop him off. I truly didn't think anyone would be willing to accommodate that request (understandably) but Rachel was up for it! Not only that, she also dropped me off at the spot where buses were taking runners to Teton Village for the start line. Truly too kind! When I arrived back at Rachel's place to pick up Rowan, he was having so much fun playing with her neighbor's dog in the yard that he completely ignored me lol. It was hard to pull him away. Rowan had a blast and Rachel was so kind to send update pictures while I was running my race. If for whatever reason I'm crazy enough to run that race again, I would absolutely hit up Rachel again! About: Growing up with animals made the transition to petsitting seamless. Eventually, word of mouth really helped me grow as a pet caregiver and I treasure every experience. Every furbaby has their own quirks and unique needs. I make it a point to learn them and make them feel safe and comfortable while you're gone. Whether it's taking shorter walks for the older folks, or going on hikes with the younger ones, I build my days around their schedule and put their needs first. I have experience with a ride range of ages, and giving medication or supplements. When I take on a petsitting job, I make sure that my schedule revolves around their needs. From the time I wake up and go to bed, I make sure the furbaby gets taken care of first. I'm very much a home body and that works well with providing your pet with consistent attention. The pets' needs always come before mine. They eat before I eat. They get a potty before I've been able to open my eyes. I build a consistent routine for them to feel safe and respect any boundaries they, or you as the owner, put up. I have personal policies, like keeping the space clean and my items stowed away, to prevent accidents that lead to vet visits. I am always aware of any of their characteristics to spot concerns early on. I don't just show up and treat them as a roommate. I treat them as a family member until their owner gets back.

Animals often get stressed when there are changes to their environment so I often ask around what times do they normally get; fed, treats, walks, meds. I like to bring toys that they like and not change anything about their diets. I have learned that communication is key to developing a positive relationship with clients. Im guilty of sending you many pictures of your animals while you're away. I work part time and mostly make my own schedule. I try to stay in my local area as much as possible to make myself available to your animals. I offer clients grocery deliveries, laundry, and mail pickup for small fees. I do not charge for house sitting duties like watering plants, taking trash down, or safety checks. Dogs need frequent exercise for best health. I encourage the couch potatoes to get moving, I walk the hyper ones until they slow down, I'll play fetch or offer indoor interactions as needed. I wash out water bowls daily.

“Dana is a fantastic dog sitter! I had to find last minute boarding for my two dogs, and Dana was super responsive. She took such great care of my dogs, giving them so much love - nightly massages and lots of cuddles. My 2 year old retriever had recent abdominal surgery and still had his stitches in. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a good amount of time. I love getting outside and walking with the pups and making sure they get a through amount of excercise. On my free time I’ve house sat for old bosses and friends that have taken off for vacation making sure their pups are well taken care of and happy while their owners are away. I am currently working as a freelancer. I have a flexible schedule and like to get outside early for walks while it’s quiet. I also like to make sure that the clients pets get enough time outside and are comfortable and happy while their owner is away. Making sure that the clients pet is happy is a priority. About: I’ve grown up with big dogs and small dogs. I currently live in a barn with fenced in areas. I am more than happy to host your pet at my property or I can travel to yours. I am looking to help others when I can. I am currently working full time from 8am -5pm Monday thru Friday. I am mainly free in the evenings or all day on Saturday and Sundays. I have fenced in areas on our property where your pets can be free to run at their own desire as well as enjoy the fresh air instead of being cooped up in a house for a long period of time.
