Cat Sitting in Hilo

“Carla was a lifesaver! My father was rushed to the hospital and admitted for several days. I am in another state and looked to Rover for help checking on his cat during his stay. She went above and beyond. My Dad ran out of catfood the day of his emergency, so Carla was kind enough to bring some when checking on his cat. I highly recommend her for any of your pets future needs!”

“Patricia was a great sitter, she came and visited my cats and gave them attention, and when I came back they were happy, the water bowls and litter box was clean, and ultimately it was just a great experience! She sent pictures and updated me regularly, and I didn’t feel like I needed to worry about my kitties while I was gone. I would definitely use Patricia again!”

But she was great at keeping an eye on him and making sure he had a great time and great care while I was gone. I’d highly recommend Liz for anyone looking for some pet care and would definitely consider bringing any of my pets back to her in the future.”

“Vanessa was amazing! We travel quite a bit and have had many different sitters stay in our home with our cats. One of our cats is very shy and has generally stayed in hiding through the duration of the housesits. We were so thrilled to see that both of our cats, including the shy one, warmed up to Vanessa within just a couple of days. One of them was following her around on the very first day and the other one was cuddling her in bed shortly after. We were sent adorable pics to prove it! Such a relief. I had a great feeling about her from the moment I met her and I am so pleased she was able to watch our fur babies during our travel!!”

About: I’ve always loved animals as long as I can remember. I have had a lot of pets ranging from a pony to turtles to cockatiels. I have four kitties that are my world 🌏 I’m always grateful for the opportunity to love on other animals too! 🥰 I have been a pet sitter on Rover previously when I was a travel RN in Seattle. I currently work at Krishna Cow Sanctuary and have a flexible schedule. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule. I have been a nurse for the last five years in oncology. I am taking some time for myself to rejuvenate. I prefer getting to build relationships with pets and their people. It’s great for all of us to have continuity of care. My kitties are family and I love spoiling them and making sure they have healthy lives. I also use Rover when I visit my family and friends on the mainland, and know what it means to have someone else make sure that they are well cared for until I get back.

“Catherine is a very reliable and conscientious dog sitter. She took care of our miniature Schnauzer for several weeks while we traveled, and she was mindful of the fact that we live in a cohousing community (a kind of intentional community) where there are some larger dogs that can be aggressive and that she needed to pay close attention when walking our dog. I felt full confidence that Shadow was in good hands. I would definitely hire her again.”

About: I’ve been an animal person since childhood. I find ways to understand and connect with all animals I encounter, as they fill my life with so much joy. I’m currently a student at Northeastern, with a very open afternoon and morning schedule. Most of my classes are midday and only for a couple hours. I have weekends free and am eager to work. I am more than happy to care for your pets needs whatever they may be. I am extremely respectful of one’s space and will ensure your home and pet are protected and cared for.
