“We have been using Kira for daycare and boarding for our Dachshund Teddy. Earlier in the week he had to have a dental procedure so had not been himself at home. Today when I dropped him off for daycare I knew Kira would pay close attention and she gave me updates throughout the day. He did great and I think he was happy to be back with his pack. I can rest assured Teddy will be well cared for in Kira’s home💗”

About: Hi! ❤️ My name is Natalie Ikner. I am 23 years old and am a full time college student with all of my work online. I am pretty much always at home so your pups would have someone around 24/7 during their visits or stays! I have a year old German Shepard/greyhound kid named draco! He is my baby. He is VERY friendly with people & pets. He’s been around children and other dogs quite a lot and has never been aggressive. Since I am home full time I’ve decided to start offering my services on Rover to help my fiancé with the bills. Plus, I LOVE animals of all kinds!! So why not? We also have lots of fish (goldfish, guppies, one beta, & koi) and we have a bearded dragon baby named Crouton. Your pup will have ample play & potty time on account to me being here all hours of the day during their stay. I also offer walking, drop ins, & day care. I’m excited to meet your pups!!! ❤️ My schedule is very open so I am always home. I do all of my college work online so I’m open schedule most of the time! I do not keep my dog in a crate, but I do hourly potty breaks (or more if needed for that specific animal) and I do allow my dog on my bed occasionally.

About: I've been a pet owner since age three with veterinary experience as well. I've kept many different animals for friends over the years including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I've worked in a vet clinic for over six months where I helped with pre and post-operative care and boarding. That position taught me a lot of important techniques for giving medicine, reading behavior, and knowing when something is not quite right. I routinely removed sutures, clipped nails, and cleaned ears. A pet's health will always be my top priority along with their happiness. Caring for an animal gives me so much joy because they give back double what they receive. While dogs and cats are what I'm most familiar with, I'm open to helping other critters as well. **For safety reasons, I DO NOT give out my personal phone number or email. All communication must remain within the Rover App or website. Please do not ask for this information.** Your pet will generally fit into my daily routine. My dogs are very used to meeting new dogs and cats and are eager to teach them the schedule 😊 Your pets are treated like special guests in my home. My two dogs love making new friends and are comfortable with sharing their toys and treats. I work part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays which leaves plenty of time for your pet! I take care of all pets first thing when I wake up. When doing drop-ins I follow the schedule that your pet is most used to. I have a sun room that is dedicated to the dogs. There is a dog door that leads to the fenced in backyard, so your pup can choose if they'd like to be in or out. I also have a large crate of necessary. When taking care of your pets in your home, I follow instructions and do my best to stick to a schedule that your pet is used to.

About: I am a recent graduate from the University of Alabama, and am now a work-from-home dog mother of 2. I have a decent amount of time and flexibility during my work day, so I would be happy to stop in and check on your pup, take them for a walk, or even be your doggie day care pit stop. I have lived in a multi-dog household since I was a baby. I have experience owning and caring for all types of dogs from puppy to senior, small to large, yorkies, labs, German shepherds and everything in between. I currently have 2 rescue pups of my own from Metro. Drake and Cash are German Shepherd/Pit/Staffy mixes. Drake is a year old and is 86lbs of love. Cash is half the size, but 100% of the personality. They are high energy, highly social, and overly intelligent! I have been taking them to training classes and sessions for 6 months and not only does it provide them with great mental and physical stimulation, but I have also learned a lot about dog behaviors and body language as well as how to be a better dog owner. My boys are certainly a handful, but I am thriving and so are they, so I am confident that I can handle anything your babies throw my way! I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am home all day with my two dogs, so if you need to drop them off for day care, I have a fenced in back yard and will give them all the love and attention they need. If you need me to come to your place and check on them, I have a decent amount of flexibility for drop-in visits or walks. I understand how tough it can be when traveling or working long hours to make sure your dogs have adequate care and attention, so I am more than happy to help! I have a fenced in backyard for my dogs to let them out during the day to run, play, and have potty breaks. I take them on a walk around my neighborhood once a day. They are both crate trained. If you are planning to drop them off for day care, just let me know what their typical schedule is. Please let me know if they are crate trained or not, if they need to be walked, food, treats, allergies, medications etc! I’ll do my best to stick to YOUR routine! Same applies for drop in visits and walks.
14. Renata F.
“Renata took such good care of Kenja. She sent me pictures and it was evident my dog was happy and comfortable with her.”
15. Retta S.
“I've paid Retta to watch over my dogs a plethora of times. She's taken care of them while I've been at work and for multiple days when I have to go out of town. They adore her to death, and honestly, I wouldn't pick anyone else to watch over them. She's trustworthy, caring, and follows all instructions, which is particularly important since the chihuahua has a number of food and outdoor allergies. I recommend that anyone that needs someone to watch over her pets to choose Retta.”
16. Tori S.
“Tori watched our cats while we were out of town and made sure they were loved and cared for! She did everything we asked and left it so clean! We will definitely use Tori again! Thanks Tori!”
