About: I have several older/disabled cats which require aid in mobility, cosequin, and semi frequent vet visits for various issues that arise. So I have plenty of experience in caring for kitty cats that need extra help. So if you have a senior cat that needs extra help you're in good hands.

About: I love others pets like I love my own. I’ve had my own dog since I was 17 and took care of her in any way needed. I’m knowledgeable on a lot of things dealing with dogs as well as cats. I trained both of my dogs myself to sit, shake, and listen to basic commands. I’m currently working Monday- Friday during the day. Any drop in visits you may need after 5pm I can do! As for the weekends, I am free to watch over your babies. I keep my schedule updated so in case I am not available it will let you know! I have a fenced in back yard where my dog stays. So if you would like your dog to have some doggie playtime she would enjoy that! If not that is completely fine and if you have a crate that you would like your pet to stay in I will use that! Special care requests will be accommodated as much as possible. I am retired and a stay at home dad. This allows me to be home with your fur baby throughout the day and night. Your pup will have constant and consistent supervision throughout the day. If I need to leave the house for any reason, all dogs will be put in their safe place. I’ve taken care of family, neighbor, and even stray pets/animals and take pride in my ability to get on the good side of any creature. I don’t go anywhere most weekends so I’m available for boarding and anything else more or less all the time. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a big yard and sunroom so plenty of space for play. My dogs are on radio collars on occasion (generally when strays begin to appear), but more often than not, they are inside-outside dogs and are let out on average 4-6x a day. My own dog, Felix, has the torn CCL and gets leashwalked 4-6x a day as well. All of my cats are free-fed dry food, and my blind kitty gets fed a special dry food. My oldest cat (13 yrs) is also fed wet food as an additional food, 1-2x a day. Their litter box is cleaned weekly, as we do not scoop, but I do scoop my blind cat's litter box daily, as she is the only cat in the dorm and the box is suited specifically for her. In my clients home, I will follow any and all rules and regulations laid out of me. I love "excessive details" as they give me a better idea of how to properly care for the pets. I follow feeding times and amounts to a T, and double, triple, sometimes quadruple-checking amounts of everything, whether it be food, medications, or the amount of excrement I find. If anything looks off (behavior, excrement, appetite, etc.) the owner is immediately notified with a mentality of "what do you want me to do next?" My goal is to treat the pet as good as the owner does, in the time I am around them. On walks, I encourage proper walking skills (heeling, low reactivity), and try to help teach dogs as I do so. If allowed by the owner, I'd use low-calorie, high-reward treats with a clicker tool to help refine walking skills. This way the pet gets mental and physical stimulation, while being able to still be themself.

About: I’m caring for a five year old Siberian Husky with my wife. I’m good at handling strong pulling breeds and I love spending time in play and taking pictures of them! I’m currently working a job on Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri with flexibility. I’m usually open for weekend boards and Wednesday drop ins. Hope to open my schedule to more of this work in the future. I have a spacious 2 bed. Your dog can be separated from mine and/or crated. We have access to a large community double sided dog park.
