I am 25 years old. I'm a pet lover and a rescued pet owner. My first language is Brazilian/Portuguese and I also speak English. I've had pets all my life and I brought my cat from Brazil, she is part of the family.
I'm CPR and First Aid Certified and I love spending time with animals, so I'm looking for a chance to work with animals more effectively. In Brazil, I spent several years in education. As rewarding as the experience was, I never felt completely satisfied at the end of the day.
Taking care of pets, I have the privilege of making a positive difference within the lives of pets and pet owners.
I am a Professional, Insured, Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified Dog Sitter (aka someone who REALLY loves dogs and what I do)! I do not have an outside job, but rather enjoy being home taking care of my family, house & dog guests.
I'm from East Longmeadow. Spending time with dogs is what I truly enjoy, and it's something I've been able to incorporate into my regular routine! After our 15 year old Golden Retriever passed way, our family has not been ready for a new family member, but being able to create a safe and welcoming place for your family members has allowed me to still enjoy their company.
Myself and my husband have run a pet sitting service out of our home for 20 years. We will sit for a dog for any length of time needed. We own 5 dogs of our own.I also am part owner of a Ct. dog rescue. Our dogs are our children.
Hello, my name's Mike and I would really enjoy to take care of your dog whenever you need me to! I absolutely love dogs, however due to my work schedule it wouldn't be fair for me to have a dog of my own. I'm only available on weekends unfortunately because I don't want to leave your dog unattended while I'm at my day job. I am also available on weekends to watch your dog in my home. When you hire me, you are also donating 50% of the price to the charity K9s For Warriors, who are dedicated to providing service canines to warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service post 9/11.
I am an experienced pet sitter, having worked for a licensed company for many years. As a pet owner myself, I know how challenging it can be to find trustworthy people to care for your furry family member when you have to go out of town. I can assure you that I will take care of your pet as if it was my own. I will make sure that your dog is in a safe, loving environment and that all of his/her needs are taken care of. I will also make sure that communication with the owner stays consistent, so you feel completely comfortable when you are away. I am mature, responsible and caring. Your dog will be in the best hands when staying with me.

I maintain a neat environment as well as keep up with household chores including plants, mail, garbage, laundry, etc. I have several references upon request. I will make an excellent addition to your family and someone you can depend on in the future!!!
I am incredibly passionate about dogs, and would love the chance to give your dog lots of love and attention while you are away! I've owned cats and dogs for my entire life, and have been taking care of a variety of animals for other families for over 10 years. There is nothing I love more than spending time with animals, and their comfort and care comes before everything else when I'm looking after them. I am also a very organized and hardworking individual. I pay close attention to detail and would take care of your dog closely following your instructions.
Hello! Thank you for stopping by to take a look at my profile.
I am a 48 year old woman who has been dog sitting for years and years. I am a very responsible, educated and reasonable person who comes with to Rover.com with great references.
I started dog sitting b/c when I was a dog mom to my "doghters"( daughters) and I had to go away, kenneling was not an option. It was too stressful for my girls, but more often than not, this was my only option.. so I simply wouldn't want to leave them. After using different dog walkers to come in while I was gone, many times I found one of my dogs - who was a senior at that point- limping when I arrived home. The dog sitters – two in particular-didn't listen to me when I said 'please do not pull her on walks- her shoulder can be easily damaged when the leash is tugged on."
I then became the dog sitter I was so desperately looking for in someone else...I have studied behaviorism in dogs, I can read their body language very well and understand what makes them tick.
At this point, dog sitting has become more of a part time job for me, as I have just earned a 2nd master's degree. I am a therapist, canine enthusiast, and canine assisted therapy practitioner- and from time to time utilize therapy dogs in my therapy room for people suffering from a number of disorders- from depression to PTSD.
I feel it is vital for dogs ( cats, too) to keep their routine in place. Believe it or not, when moms and dads go away, it can be extremely stressful for their pets. I always ask dog moms and dads to tell me about their dog's routine, what toys they like to play with, when they eat, what they eat and what they shouldn't eat, what their favorite toys are, etc...In my opinion, dogs need people to spend time with them- not just a half an hour to " feed, walk and water" a dog when dog sitting. It is simply not enough time. Dogs thrive on companionship and need to be around others- humans or other animals.
If you care about your animals as much as I do, I hope to hear from you!
I charge $25.00 a visit. However, If you would prefer that I stay in your home or that your dog stay in my home, I charge $65.00 a day.
The dog is welcome to come with me if this is something you will require- If this will be the case, I would prefer he/she has a seatbelt for the car ride :o)
I am a Veterinary Technician student at Alfred State. I have years of experience working with dogs, cats, reptiles, snakes and rodents. I have a year of experience working with Farm animals. I have taught the basic dog training to not only my own dogs but to my clients dogs as well. I can even do overnight stays and care for your companion in case of an emergency. I am a student at Alfred State University pursuing my second degree. My first degree is in Biology and not I am working on becoming a Veterinary Technician.
The wonderful thing about dogs is that it doesn't take much to make them happy, and I love doing so! I love to play with pups (and cats as well), especially to take them on runs or hikes. I work in Stamford at NBC Sports and I would be more than happy to stay locally to take care of your pup(s). I am a clean, responsible young adult that will not only take excellent care of your pet, but will also take great care of your home as well. Grabbing mail, watering plants, and any other household duties are strongly encouraged!
I live in Wtby, CT with my Australian Shepherd, Suri. We have a small yard, but love to go for walks/runs and to the dog park! Suri loves to come for rides, and your dog may too. Suri gets along with all dogs and loves when dogs come to visit! I would love to have another dog, but it is not the right time. I would be happy to care for your friendly dog to keep us company! Please have your dog come stay with us! :) We'd love to him/her!! Contact me with any questions.
