“What a wonderful experience we had with Sheila for our two week trip to India. We had always had family take care of our animals, so it was a first for us to use a a live-in service. Sheila was proactive and timely with communications before, during and after our trip. She asked all the right questions- the ones that let you know she is thinking of the important details. She adapted to our animals specific needs, like our chihuahua that likes to sleep close at night. Sheila learned about goat care quickly and sent fun pictures of her time with them. Her photo and text updates were so nice and made me feel so at ease. She wasn’t afraid to ask questions, or bring up a concern that might help make her stay easier for the animals and herself. Sheila is the kind of person who will figure out, what needs to be figured out! We came back to a home that was cleaner than when we left, and our animals felt peaceful and happy. About: I've always had a pet in my own house so I understand the mindset of a pet owner. When I was younger I used to dog walk for my neighbors but I have also worked at doggie daycares for over two years so I am trained to handle dogs of my breeds, temperments, and sizes as well as grooming, feeding, and medications the dog may need. I currently work 6:45am to 2pm Monday-Friday at a dog daycare and boarding facility and I also have a dog of my own, so my life is extremely pet care focused! I can easily crate your dog if needed, but if your dog has any special training procedures or needs I will happily follow whatever guidelines you have set in place for your dog!

About: I have been doing drop-ins for friends and family for years. I have also spent a lot of time at my local shelter as I enjoy the company of animals. I have a senior dog at home so i’ve learned how to administer medications the best of my ability. I am very responsible and timely! I am currently a full time honors student at NIU. I have class a few days a week, but besides that i’m very open. My upcoming semester i’m only busy mondays and wednesdays in the early afternoon. I care for others’ pets in their home as if they are my own. I am very loving as all pets and appreciate them for the love they provide. Animals are extremely important to me, and my work will reflect that. If I were able I would have dozens of furry friends.

About: I am experienced in caring for many types of pets, including dogs, cats, some exotic pets, and most small animals! I have two cats myself and have always loved caring for animals. I’m going to school at NIU for Child Development. Although I am a full-time student, I am available daily before and after classes! I am available for drop in visits, house sitting, and possible boarding depending on the situation. I’m excited to hear from you :) I am available to watch animals in your home, and occasionally in my home. I live in an apartment and therefore can only accept small animals for boarding.

About: First I’d like to say that am a very loving, caring, and responsible individual especially when it comes to taking care of others. I have had three large dogs (a German Shepherd named Bob, a rescue German mastiff named Sebastian, and an English mastiff named Simpson) since I was 9 years old and I also have 2 cats (Marshmallow and Mama) who throughout their lives were/are extremely healthy, loved, and cared for equally as much as I’d care for myself. I can guarantee you that your pet(s) will always be 100% safe and well taken care of! Your pet will be taken care of like they are my own and you will never have to worry about them being mistreated. You will not regret this!
