About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.

Cooper our 20 month old Cavapoo stayed for a few days and it was our first time away. Not only did they update with photos and videos many times throughout the day but they sent home a report card letting me know how he ate and what he did. They really went above and beyond! Cooper didn’t want to play too much with the other dogs so Miriam had him cuddled by her desk throughout the day he was able to sleep with them at night. About: When I was 7 years old I got my first puppy. His name was Jake, a baby lab. I trained him myself and raised him throughout his entire life. I have a natural affinity with animals. I am great at figuring out what my furry baby needs from me, I am also great at calming down irritable pups. My puppy passed 5 years ago due to health conditions and I instantly got two more. I now have two Australian shepherds who are very high energy and need a lot of love, play, and attention which I always provide top quality. I have also been relied on by friends and family countless times to take care of their puppies or all different kinds. Pictures of these beautifies can be found in my profile. I feed, walk, bathe, play, and much more with them, I know they always enjoy themselves and their owners are always greatfull and eager for me to watch them again. I have even taken care of peoples bunnies, reptiles, crustaceans, cats/kittens (I am allergic to cats so I am less likely to take them on). The dogs I have taken care of have been xs-xl sized so I can handle myself, even two animals at a time would be no problem. Currently, my schedule is very flexible as I am working with DoorDash where I get to schedule my own work times and days (based on the area and how busy it is). This allows me a lot of time to devote towards your furry baby! I work the most from 4-9:30pm on weekdays and weekends (primarily). Weekdays are more negotiable than weekends, as these are my only jobs currently. There will never be a time where I need to focus on both jobs simultaneously, any furry baby with me will have my undivided attention! My home is a very safe, clean, and organized environment. So, there will be no worry for any choking hazards, sharp objects, or hazardous foods/liquids in furry reach. That being said there is also a door that blocks off the kitchen area. If there is any specific housing instructions, I will cater to them to the best of my abilities!
About: I have taken care of many dogs in my neighborhood for years. I had a German Shorthair Pinter I trained. I have had a umber of cats over the years. My dog now is 14 yes.! I am a retired teacher so I have the time to care for your dogs! I am available everyday. I do attend church on Sunday’s for 3 hours. Other wise I’m am home all day. First thing in the morning we are out the door for a walk around the neighborhood. We come the dogs have a fresh clean bowl of water and a treat. My dog eats around 12 o’clock. I feel his bowl up with his favorite dog food from blue buffalo. Second walk of the day is around noon outside around the neighborhood check in with some of the friends dogs and back home. We take a little nap around 2 o’clock and then back out for another walk around five. My dog gets another bowl full of blue buffalo. Sometimes he eats it and sometimes he waits and eats it later in the evening. We go out approximately between nine and 10 o’clock. The last of the day potty breaks. I try to keep the same schedule for the dogs so they know what they have to do when we go outside.

My husband also has a flexible work schedule. In fact, I usually have him come along on meet & greets so that we can tag team visits if need be. We have a Petsafe invisible fence. If you have a Petsafe collar, then it should work at my home. Besides the Petsafe invisible fence, we have an extra long tie out in the backyard. We also have a fenced in area near the pool which is unavailable during pool season otherwise open. I recently put up a fenced area that is suitable for dogs that aren’t jumpers or strong. Our yard is about half an acre. I’m happy to walk a dog on a leash in the yard or around the neighborhood as well. We have a beautiful walking path nearby. I also love giving the option to pet owners for in home visits while they’re gone. Sometimes a pet is more content and comfortable in their own home. I’m happy to visit 3-4 times a day to provide some company, feed, and allow for potty breaks. It’s really a great option for many who don’t enjoy being boarded at a facility.

About: My whole life I’ve had animals cats dogs farm animals I love them all. I’ve handled big dogs and small dogs and have sitted for friends when they leave for vacation. I currently work full time but still have time on weekends and Wednesday evenings to take care of any pet of all sizes. I am comfortable with all pets My cat has her cat tower and clean litter boxes and she also sleeps in bed too. Lots of play time playing with her toys as well
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and can't imagine a home without them! I’m new to Rover, but because I don't currently have a pet of my own, I have plenty of love, attention, and energy to give to yours. I've been a trusted dog sitter for friends and family for years, and I'm excited to meet even more through Rover! I believe pets are family, and I treat every dog with the same care, patience, and affection I'd want for my own. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra company while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’ve always found ways to get along with any animal! I don't currently hold a full-time job position, so I'm pretty flexible during the week for my schedule. I have other side jobs and am picking up shifts when I can, but I'm willing to move things around to suit what works best for you and your pet. I am able to host one dog at a time in my home for certain periods of time. I do not have any other animals living in my home, so there would be no interactions with any other dog while in my home. I also have a fenced in backyard so your dog is always in my view and very safe. The rest of my family members are also huge dog lovers, so while I would be the caretaker, your dog is able to experience all the love my home has to offer. I am sure to follow all directions as needed regarding your pet in my house or yours. I'm very detail-oriented and sometimes a perfectionist, so following instructions to ensure your dogs health and safety is something you don't have to worry about with me!
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 7 years old. I took care of my pet fish since I was 5 and then started walking dogs at age 7. I can walk, feed, bathe, play, you name it I can do it! I am also able to administer medicine. I am a full-time second year law student at NIU! I moved to the Midwest from New York about a year ago. My fiancé and I currently share a 2 year old HIGH ENERGY bull terrier mix that we love with our whole hearts so per care is a daily routine in our house. I currently work Tuesday-Thursday for the DuPage County States Attorneys Office and then I am free the rest of the week. Once classes start up, August 17th, I will be adjusting those hours but we still have plenty of availability for your furry friends! I can crate dogs easily if needed but I am also all for free roaming! I love to be outside with your pets in a fenced area to ensure their safety. About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I have also grown up raising birds, cats, and rabbits. I had my first pet-sitting business when I was just 11 years old. I am a current dog and cat mom. I aspire to be a dog trainer and have my own business one day. About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs since I was about 10 years old. I have good experience with giving oral medications and giving support to dogs with anxiety or anxiousness. Great with walking dogs with all different sizes and energy levels. I also have great knowledge when it comes to cleaning care for puppies or seniors rather that be in cages or any where within the house. I support rescue services for pets as I have adopted a dog from Tails myself. Lastly I am great at managing multiple dogs at once as I currently have three dogs with my family. I am currently take a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) class as I am looking to become a nurse in my future. I starting college this year so I’m looking to find a job during this summer. With having CNA class I am available most weekdays and for sure weekends. I have class Tuesdays and Wednesdays being available after 12:30 and have Friday Clinicals at a Nursing home in DeKalb leaving that day majority full. While in my own home or a clients home I always make sure the pet feels like their in a comfortable and safe environment with surroundings and with me. A pets health mentally and physically is really important to me as I make sure they get the right exercise, rest, attention and love they of course deserve. Keeping them with their daily routines and schedule is also very necessary to me when it comes to feedings and water, play inside and outside, rest and walks which are my favorite. Keeping my clients home clean and protected is also something very important to me as it helps the dog be familiar in their safe and comfortable space and also help the owner gain trust and rely on me as much as possible! Updates are a really big thing I offer service to, I am a really great communicator and responsible person so letting them know how their pet is doing and being cared for is very critical.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Beginning with my grandmas beautiful golden retriever to getting my own Beagle/Australian shepherd puppy as a kid.. When I got married my husband had a golden lab that became ours. She was the best dog I've ever known. She let our kiddos dress her up, sleep on her, and yell all the day long. Her response was just to look at them and lick them.. Later on we adopted an Australian Shepherd/lab mix that was full of energy. We now have a lab/terrier mix that we adopted 2 years ago. About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.
