“I’m so happy to have found Sonia on Rover. She goes above and beyond to take care of my energetic lab puppy. She sends tons of pics, videos, and updates throughout the day. My puppy loves going to her house for doggy daycare and is always nice and tuckered out from playing when I pick her up.”
2. Cara C.
“Luna absolutely loves going to Cara’s!”
3. Elizabeth S.
“This is my second booking with Elizabeth. The first stays for my two dogs, one a full Golden Retriever and the other a Golden Retriever mix, was for five individual day cares. Elizabeth and her US Marine husband were gracious enough to accommodate us very early in the morning until 6pm, when the standard doggy day cares aren't even open for accepting drop-off or pick up. The convenience of their being on base for the dogs to stay in a well-kept home setting was a huge bonus. She made sure they had a good time but didn't overindulge with treats (helping to keep their weight down). Elizabeth took them on walks and to the neighborhood doggy play area where they could safely play outside, off leash. THEY HAD A GREAT TIME! THANK YOU BOTH FOR YOUR SERVICE TO PET PARENTS AND TO OUR COUNTRY! GOD BLESS!”
4. Marisa E.
“Marisa is amazing!!! She is so reliable and trustworthy. My fur baby is my world and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for him. She volunteers at a local animal refuge in her free time. To me that says a lot 😍 She truly loves all animals.”
5. Jason M.
“Jason is excellent and the atmosphere for our pup is great”
6. Cynthia S.
“Cynthia took great care of our dog, Charlie! Even though we only booked a short day care visit, Cynthia provided plenty of photos and updates. Her dog, Shelby, is full of energy and loves to play. Charlie was nice and tired when we picked him up.”
7. Austin & Selena G.
“Austin and Selena did a great job watching our dog! They allowed us to come over to see their place and meet them before we made a decision. While we were gone, they stayed in contact with us and sent pictures and videos. Our dog seemed very happy and comfortable at their home. Highly recommend.”
8. Selena M.
“Great with communication and very sweet!”
9. Alyssa P.
“Alyssa is my "go-to person" when it comes to the care of my 4 dogs! Whenever I take a trip or need help during my work week she is the only one I call. She is dependable, trusted and professional. And my dogs love her! I have been using Alyssa exclusively for the last 18 months and I honestly believe my pets are better behaved because of her time spent with them.”

About: I grew up on a farm with not only dogs and cats but cows, chickens, horses, pigs, and even bunnies and snakes. You name it I’ve either owned it or tried to bring it in the house in my pockets. As for dogs and cats specifically, I’ve had three dogs and too many kitties to count. I’ve bottle fed both and have trained my personal dogs from puppyhood. I can give advice on trouble areas in that regard (but I am not a professional dog trainer by any means). Last year, my dog Memphis was diagnosed with kidney disease. I administered medicine and care for him until he had to leave this world. All that to say, I am able to help with sick/elderly dogs. I currently have two cats, Khaleesi and Seuss, and a German Shepherd Dog, Cash, all of whom I love dearly. I am available most weekends and I work 8 to 4 throughout the week. When I am at work, I have an enormous yard for the pups to play in. If you have an escape artist, I can work with you on a solution that keeps them safe with as much freedom as you're comfortable with. Your pets will be my pets while I’m with them! I live in a home with a cat and a dog. If your pet is able to reside comfortably alongside my animals I’d love to have them visit us! I can be as active or relaxed with them as you’d like me to be. I have a large fenced in yard, and I spend at least an hour before and after work with my dog either playing fetch or going for a walk. Trips to the dog park are special treats for us. If you’re comfortable with it and they are at least moderately behaved on a leash, I’ll bring them along. If I am coming to your home, I will treat it as my own and leave everything how I found it. The litter box will be cleaned and the water/food refilled as necessary. I’ve been known to water the plants on the way out the door as well.
11. Courtney S.
“Courtney is a very caring dog mom and she loves to spoil them. She’s always been an animal lover and they love her right back.”
12. Leah L.
“My German Shepherd Jax had a great time during his day boarding! They took the time to work on his commands and kennel time. Will definitely be coming back soon.”
13. Shannon S.
“Shannon has always treated our pets as her own. She has never hesitated to keep and eye on them when we have asked and we never had to worry if they were in good hands when with her.”
14. Nicole L.
“Nicole took care of my dog when I was sick. She was great! She was great with my dog. You can tell she loves dogs and has a way with them. What I look for in a dog walker is someone who not only cares but is also responsible and reliable. Nicole is both. She is great!”
15. Trevor D.
“You will not regret letting Trevor watch after your fur babies! He is great with animals and treats them like they are his own. He has watched over my fur baby more than I can count! Sometimes weeks at a time! Trevor is also skilled in the vet tech trade and has worked for the NCSU Veterinary teaching hospital and Banfield. His knowledge of small animal care (as well as large animal care) goes a long way! Trevor is also a great person and is often involved in his church and community! You will be in great hands with Trevor!”
16. Scarlett W.
“Scarlett is a very loving person. She herself has several pets. While visiting in her home I've seen how she cares and loves each one. Also while visiting my home Scarlett shows the same care for my pets and even my neighbors pets. I believe Scarlett would do a great job as a pet setter.”
17. Trina S.
“Trina was a blessing. Last minute need and she took both my doxies. They had great day and she even sent me photos. Can't thank you enough. If I'm ever this side of country again, I'll be sure to reach out for any pup sitting needs. Dawn”
18. Jenna S.
“I would like to say, when it comes to being purely passionate about taking care of dogs ,and what she does, I can honestly say hand’s down she was the best Loving caregiver I’ve had, that has taken care of my husky Trooper. I love my husky, and there was so many factors when trying to find someone to trust with your dogs, immediately she treated my husky like family and that’s all that really mattered when leaving my dog in the right persons hand’s. RELIABLE, CARING, DEPENDABLE. Don’t just leave your pets with just anyone, but with someone that actually cares, she’s legit 😊”
