“Roy was great with Fugee. My pup is pretty shy and anxious when meeting new folks but she took to Roy as soon as I opened the car door. He sent pictures throughout the day as well as updates. Roy was very responsive prior to Fugee’s daycare date. When I came to pick her up after work she was very relaxed. I’d recommend him to anyone!”

About: Before becoming a Rover sitter, I had been taking care of dogs with my fiancé for over 5 years. We have babysat and fostered dogs for Nashville Humane in the past and have always had a blast taking care of them. We currently have two very friendly dogs that would love to keep your furry pet occupied & stimulated during their stay. We also have a fully fenced backyard for your pet to run around in that even our Husky mix has not figured out how to escape from. I currently work from home and my fiancé works hybrid, so we can let your dog out for frequent bathroom breaks. Dogs are always allowed on furniture and may sleep with us in the bed or a crate. I currently work from home Monday - Friday, so I have plenty of opportunity for your dog to go outside and play. They are more than welcome to sit in my office with me or hang out with my other dogs. We have plenty of bones & toys for your dog to choose from. Your dog will be let outside as little or as much as you desire, since our backyard is fully fenced. I make sure that dogs are taken out every few hours, measure out food, and watch for any anxious behavior. I also limit treats to your desire.
13. Eric H.
“Eric is a natural fit with dogs. He carefully trained his own dog Sasha, and she is very well mannered. He can take her to the dog park, in the car to run errands, camping, and to restaurants that allow dogs. In addition, he makes sure to feed her the appropriate food and is up to date with Vet visits. His heart is in the right place as he will treat any pet left in his care with the utmost respect for both pet and owner. I highly recommend his services.”
14. Nina E.
“Nina is very knowledgable about animals and services for them. She is clear communicator with a passion for animals. If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy, conscientious, and devoted, look no further. Her experience working with animals is evident. Raising a “zoo” of 3 cats and two dogs (with a fur baby guiding her from the sky), Nina’s years of experience in her home and volunteering show with a naturalness and instinct for working with animals.”
15. Christa W.
About: My name is Christa, I’ve been dog sitting for Rover in Tennessee for about 6 years. I reduced my work load to repeat clients only for a while and am ready to reopen my books back up to meet new and fun clients! I work full time from home for Lyft HQ. I work 4 days a week, Mon-Thurs 6:30 am - 5:00 pm with Friday-Sunday off. I enjoy dog sitting because it not only allows me to make some extra income, but I also get my much needed dog fix in! What better way to have all that, than to spend my extra time with your fun loving pup(or any other animal). I grew up with dogs and am used to being around all types. We all need a break and just that one favor can be a huge life saver. I'm here to help make sure your dog is well taken care of even when life gets a little crazy. I'm flexible & willing to go above and beyond. As stated above I do work 4 days a week, those are 10 hour shifts. My shifts can be flexible with enough notice and I'm happy to help before and after a shift and all day on my off days. I am more than happy to administer any meds that your pup takes orally with a treat. I am not comfortable with administering any injectable's, this does not mean that I will not or cannot take care of your pet, but you will need to have a friend or vet visits set up for anything that can’t be hidden in a treat. I currently live in a single level condo style home. I don’t have a “backyard”, but my complex does have a fenced in area for pups. For boarding or day care I’ll only be allowing one client at a time so no worries about issues with multiple dogs in the home. I do have two cats so there may be some side eyes and annoyed hisses but mostly they’ll hide. Most of my clients past and present have gotten to know me well enough to hire me outside of the app, so you can feel confident that I will love your pet like my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your babe! Thanks for considering me :) With my current full time position I don’t have a ton of extra time to leave during the day for drop ins, but am always willing to check as my day to day meetings change. Before/After my work hours and on my days off are the easiest to schedule. I will always be respectful of your home and space. I clean up after myself and make sure to leave it the way I found it. I will ensure we have a good way to keep in contact incase there are any emergencies or issues that arise. Your pet will always be safe with me.

17. Gavin Z.
“Gavin is a very reliable young man. He loves animals and he has taken care of animals all of his life. Gavin has cared for my dog Teddy and my cat Luna multiple times. In all of the times he cared for my animals, I have come home to happy and healthy animals. I would definitely recommend Gavin as a Rover employee.”

About: I've taken care of dogs as long as I can remember. My friends and family rely on me to this day to train and watch their animals. I currently work a hybrid job, so I am only in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During those days, my fiance is WFH so pets are never really left alone during the day. I have a fenced in yard and two dog friendly dogs for your dogs to play with. We typically go on at least a 15 minute walk a day with ample play time in the backyard. If we are away, we let our dogs free roam, but if you'd prefer to have them crated, my dogs are also crate trained.
