About: My whole life I've wanted to work with animals. Currently I’m a vet tech, I went to school for 2 years for it. I love all animals so dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and reptiles are all exceptional for me to take care of! I've owned dogs, reptiles, and right now have 2 cats of my own. Whether it's a check in on your pet while you're at work, or a month of house sitting while you're on vacation, I can help! Thank you for considering me. <3 Like stated before I a full time vet tech but I do have certain days of the week off to care for your pets! Take a peak at my calendar to see my availability. You can always reach out to me too if you need more details. I’ll do drop ins and overnight house sitting in your home to keep your pet as comfortable as possible. If it’s a walk we can go wherever they normally enjoy walking to.
10. Brooke D.
“Brooke has cared for my pets (1 dog, 1 cat) on multiple occasions. This consists of drop-in and overnight care. My pets love Brooke, even my temperamental cat that hates most humans. She is a true animal lover and is always sure to follow our guidelines and requests. My only complaint is that my dog totally ignores me as soon as Brooke arrives.”
11. Rebecca V.
“Rebecca was great! Buzz loved her and you could tell he had a good time walking with her. She came inside and met my other dog, who is sometimes hard to get along with. He took very well to her as well! We will definitely be using her for sitter services in the future. Thanks Rebecca!”
12. Gabbi H.
About: Hi, I’m Gabbi, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for other people’s pets! I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve also handled many different temperaments, so I am fit for anything. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. I have experience with cats and dogs affected by cerebral palsy, deafness, blindness, and other special needs. I am experienced in administering multiple forms of medication. I also volunteer for an animal shelter, which gives me a lot of unique situations and experiences! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. My shifts are rarely ever more than 6 hours and I only work up to 3 days a week. I do sometimes have other commitments that are unlikely to take more than 4 hours at a time. I am currently only taking one online college class so that does not interfere with my availability. For people interested in boarding, I have a fenced yard and a 9/yo, 15 lb Shih Tzu who is very friendly. He is laid back and prefers dogs who are also laid back, but has never shown aggression with high energy dogs. I typically walk the dogs I watch at least once a day, but that can vary on the age and/or the activity level of the dog. I can also take them to a park, weather permitting! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.

About: I have spent my life with pets. I've fostered for rescue, worked with several pet food companies and am very educated in pet nutrition. I've volunteered at my local humane society. I'm an experienced pet handler and have worked with a pet relocation company providing boarding and long distance ground transportation. I have and excellent knowledge of dog breeds and breed specific behavior and needs. I treat every animal I work with as if he/she were my own. All animals in my care are treated as royalty. I have a special love for senior and special needs dogs and always welcome them for services. I will always treat your pet as a member of the family and take extra special care when taking them on dogs walks and transporting them. I'm bonded and insured and a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters I work from home part-time so I'm always home for daycare and boarding. I also have the flexibility to do drop-in visits and petsitting in your home In home boarding and daycare are cage free. Pups are crated at night for sleeping depending on how many dogs are in the house, how well I know them and of course, what they're sleeping preferences are. I'm not a fan of crating pups unless its necessary for health and or safety.

About: Hi I’m Chen. Moved to Alton last year. I'm currently working Product Management at a Software Development Company, so I get to work from home all the time! I love animals, and I have a wiener dog and a calico kitty. I am currently working from home. My work schedule is quite flexible, so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I have a yard at my house and one puppy and one cat to keep your fur babies company. Your babies will be supervised most of the day unless I am out running errands. If they are fully house-trained, I can just leave them be, otherwise, I can easily crate them!
