1. Brit L.
“Brit was fantastic. She took the time to let one of my dogs, a very fearful rescue, get comfortable with her at the meet & greet, and before I knew it they were friends! We then scheduled a drop-in visit and everything went great. Both my dogs are high energy and can be anxious, but when I came home later in the day they seemed perfectly relaxed and normal. Clearly, Brit is very good with animals and I hope to keep working with her!”

About: I will take extra care to make sure your pet is happy, safe, and cared for. I had a pit bull for 15 years and she was a very happy, well-trained dog! I will talk to your pet. I will feed your pet. I will keep your pet safe. Most importantly, I will follow your guidelines when it comes to your pet. I have a strong arm for big, strong dogs. I have a keen eye for tiny dogs. I'm very comfortable with all breeds of dogs, and even cats! There are no allergies or children at my house. If I'm taking care of your pet, I am not using my time for anything else but your pet. After all, pets are like children. They need close attention. I'm currently self employed, so I can choose when I'm working and what I'm doing whether it's doordashing or pet sitting! Your pet will be in good hands. I have an unfenced yard, so I will take your dog out on a leash or take them to the dog park to run if you like!

About: I have grown up with my own pets, and cared for coworkers’ friends’ and family’s pets since young adulthood, including walks, visits and overnight house/pet sitting for a variety of breeds. I take pets and their owners’ needs seriously while very much enjoying the responsibility of caring for the lil guys! I currently work 2 part time jobs in customer service, so while my calendar may look full, I have little bits here and there that I’d love to use to help people in our community care for their pets. :) I care for all pets the way a loving pet parent would care for their own. While caring for a client’s pet(s) they will be my number one priority. I have plenty of love and playfulness to give your animals, and an abundance of experience!
18. Ashley E.
“Ashley has been a vet tech for a very long time and loves all animals. She lovingly cared for my ailing dog in her final years and i am eternally grateful for her kindness and constant compassion.”
19. Stephanie T.
“As a pet mom that is highly overprotective of my two little fur babies, Merey and Noey, I highly recommend Stephanie Turner as a pet caregiver. Stephanie goes above and beyond what is asked of her each time I travel to South Carolina for a week out of the year. Receiving pictures throughout the week puts my mind at ease that my babies are happy and healthy. She is so accommodating and helpful. Stephanie has two fur babies of her own, Marley and Maddie, and they are the luckiest dogs in the world to have her as their fur mom!”
20. Maura A.
About: Hi! My name is Maura and I live in Adams. I’m a local teacher and I am looking to supplement my horse habit with another love of mine: pets! I have been pet sitting since the age of 10 and have done it in my home here within the last few years for folks headed to music festivals or for a day on the slopes. I am NOT currently accepting dogs in my own home or most overnight care jobs that require me to stay in your home*. I can certainly visit your home multiple times in the afternoon/evening/morning to accommodate an overnight though! This arrangement has worked well before. * I am willing to do overnights for small farm sitting (equine, goats, etc.) as well as house pets provided I have plenty of notice in advance. I offer a variety of services including: dog walking, letting dogs out/play/cuddle time, cat and dog sitting in your home, house sitting, and small farm sitting. I also offer red light therapy sessions for pets small and large! I have experience with all types of animals including, but not limited to: dogs, cats, hamsters/gerbils/rats, rabbits, ferrets, large aquariums, horses, cows, goats, and pigs. I’ve worked with small, medium, and large breed dogs of a variety of breeds, dispositions, and energy levels. The same applies to horses! I’m comfortable administering oral medication and caring for senior animals and baby animals. I can also administer medication to livestock with specific instructions. Additionally, I have experience sitting/running an equine boarding barn with 19 horses on the property. Because my husband and I are experienced and loving pet owners ourselves, we’ve been established with the same vet for over fifteen years. We have three dogs (an English pointer, a chihuahua, and a pomchi), three cats, two large aquarium's, a rabbit, and a horse (thoroughbred). I do have an eleven year old who adores animals of all kinds and is very respectful with space. While she will not always need to accompany me, she sometimes comes as a package deal. If your animal is not kid-friendly, a heads-up is appreciated! I understand how stressful it can be to board and/or travel with pets and my goal is to alleviate some of that. Here on vacation and need someone to let your dog out while you explore? Done. Headed out of the Berkshires for vacation and want to FaceTime your pup because you’re away? Give us a call! Headed out to the slopes for the day but have a new puppy who’s not potty trained yet? Let me help you out. I come armed with treats (if that’s ok!), a genuine, lifelong love for animals, and a personal understanding of the stress that worrying about your pet when you’re away can cause. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about availability or services! Thanks and I hope to hear from you! I’m always running errands for my pets, spending time with my pets, or I’m at the barn with my horse. Taking care of the needs of my own pets is one of my top priorities, and I can easily work your furry friend into my schedule! It’s important that we discuss your specific expectations and needs as a pet owner/parent to ensure that you get the best care! Every pet owner and pet is different and I want to tailor my approach to what your pet is used to and comfortable with.
