“We left our very energetic, young German Shepherd with Amanda. We had just been turned down by a local doggie daycare because our dog was a little "too much" for them. We scheduled a meet and greet with Amanda to make sure it would be a good fit. We met her, and her "staff" (Amanda has 2 dogs and 2 children who assist her and make sure your dog has constant attention). Amanda assured us there would be no problem watching our delinquent. We dropped Tucker off the next day and received several photos through out his stay showing how much fun he was having playing with the children and "Teddy" her Great Pyrenees. She kept us informed with timely updates which comforted Tucker's nervous mother tremendously. I cannot recommend Amanda enough. This was our first Rover experience and I can't imagine that it could have gone any better. We felt like we were leaving Tucker with a friend who cared as much for his well being as we do. Thank you very much Amanda (and "staff") and we look forward to leaving Tucker with you in the future.”

“AMAZING! Winston is a vet sensitive souls and sometimes not the best with other dogs. Yuwadee was spectacular with our pup. She had him around others for playtime, walks and made sure he had everything he needed daily, including bedtime. We were so happy and relieved actually, that she communicated so well, including pictures daily. She put us at ease and made our trip so much better with one less worry. “Heather and her kids (Anneliese and Andrew) are absolutely amazing!!! I can't express enough how grateful I am that we found her. During our vacation in Hayesville, the place we stayed at didn't allow dogs, so I turned to Rover to find someone to watch my 8-month-old golden retriever for the five days we were in town. Heather responded quickly and was incredibly flexible, making the whole process so easy. She was only 10 minutes away, and on our hiking days, we would pick him up to take him with us for a few hours before dropping him back off. He would excitedly sprint out of the car, eager to play with the other pups she had! He truly enjoyed staying with her, and she treated him as if he were her own. We received countless pictures of him having a blast, which gave us such peace of mind. Knowing that our pup was having an amazing vacation just like we were made all the difference. Heather's care and kindness were a true blessing, and we couldn't be more thankful!”

She was very accommodating (drop off had to be late in the evening) and went above and beyond to make sure my puppy and I felt comfortable before I left. Tucker had a blast during his "vacay" and did not want to leave his new buddies behind when it was time to go home. Detailed text messages with updates and pictures every day were terrific. And when I picked Tucker up, Stefanie had even washed his bed and given him a bath (well, at least tried to!) I would definitely use Stefanie's services again.”

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve also been working professionally in the pet care industry for one year. I have a long term career goal of becoming a dog groomer and I am going to be there shortly! I’m currently available most days as I don’t work outside of rover as of now, I will be transitioning into a new job up here shortly. I am skilled in dog behavior, no matter the environment! I know how to facilitate play time between multiple dogs. I hold safety, fun, and cleanliness to a high standard.

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. This experience is heightened by the different sizes, personalities, and backgrounds of my pets. I plan to treat every dog I walk or sit as if they were my own. I will look out for them and treat them in the best possible manner. I have always loved dogs and cats and even dreamed of working with them professionally as a vet or some other line of work for shelters. But this has escaped me and I hope to maybe work along side dog owners in improving their dogs day by walking or playing with them for a short time during their owners busy schedule. As a college student this job will be a great advantage to me.
