“Amanda did an awesome job staying at our house and watching our Great Dane. I love the fact she brought her dog so ours had a play mate and wasn’t as depressed by the fact we left for the weekend. She left everything very neat and sent lots of photos and videos of our fur baby.”

“She was absolutely amazing with our three German shepherds! One of the first times we felt like we never had to worry about anything on a trip! She took care of everything and communicated with us often. We could not have asked for a better person! We will definitely be asking for her help again. Thank you so much!!!”

“Absolutely fabulous sitter for our Caspian! He is a rescue and is skittish with new people. Not Amanda, they clicked on sight!! She is my go-to gal for my future visits to my son!!”

“Joanna did a great job!! She was very communicative. She sent pictures of the pets regularly, followed all directions left, reached out with any questions, and left the house tidy upon the end of the service. She even came over a week before to meet the pets and familiarize herself with the location of foods and treats! Very thankful for her work!”

“As always, Kaitlyn is very reliable and so good with our Great Dane. Our dog loves Kaitlyn and she does a wonderful job with such a large breed.”

“Ross did great with our dogs. Two of the three dogs have high needs and medication. We provide a lot of instructions and Ross executed all of them perfectly. Very happy with the experience.”

“Jordan is reliable, responsible, and so kind. Our sweet pup loved her! It was so reassuring to have her house sit while we were on a trip. The house was spotless and our dog who is usually pretty anxious was so playful when we got back - we could tell he had a great time with her. Thank you so much, Jordan!!”

About: I know what it is like to worry about your pet while you are away so I treat every pet like my own and will update you with plenty of photos! I love dogs/cats and am very patient with them when they need it. I have had a dog for 9 years now and I occasionally pet sit for family/friends! I currently volunteer for Adopt Me Bluegrass and I participated in the “Check Me Out” Program several times at the Humane Society in Lexington (taking dogs out for the day to the park). I do work full time during the week but am available before work, for a mid-day check in, and after work as well! I also can take your dog for a walk at the park during the week after work or any time on the weekends! In your home, I will make sure to follow your pet’s routine with meals, walks, playtime, and anything else necessary. I will also keep your home clean!

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. My love for animals extends beyond my own past pets; I’ve also provided reliable pet care for family, friends, and neighbors. I’ve also cared for cats and love meeting new furry friends! I offer reliable dog walking and drop-in services and am committed to keeping your pets happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently working part-time a couple days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility. I have fairly open availability throughout the week and most weekends. When caring for pets in their home, I always follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine and comfort. I keep a close eye on pets during walks and visits to ensure their safety and well-being. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior and communicate openly with pet parents to give them peace of mind. Your pet’s health, happiness, and safety are always my first concern.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life—chihuahua, beagle, westie, and now a shih tzu with more personality than most people. I’ve learned that every dog moves at its own pace. Some are playful and bold, others calm and cautious. I meet each one with patience, respect, and steady care so they feel safe and understood. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. Whether your dog needs a long walk, structured play, or quiet companionship, I’m there with a calm presence and close attention to their routine. I work part-time and live locally, so I have the flexibility to accommodate early mornings, midday visits, or evenings. You can expect reliable communication, thoughtful updates, and the kind of care I’d want for my own dog. Let me know how I can help—I'm here to make things easier for both you and your pup. Daily walks are part of the rhythm. On weekends, we head to the park to get the zoomies out and soak up some sunshine. At home, I keep things mellow—ear rubs, belly scratches, and a few favorite treats (animal crackers, carrots, or blueberries, if they’re into it). I don’t see pet care as a chore—it’s second nature, and honestly, one of the best parts of my day. I’m usually available early mornings, early evenings, and most weekends. If your pup needs someone consistent, calm, and tuned into their vibe, I’ve got you covered. Whether I’m stopping by for a walk, a quick check-in, or staying the night, I keep things clean, calm, and consistent. I follow your dog’s routine closely—meals, walks, play, rest—whatever helps them feel at ease. I move at their pace, paying attention to what makes them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.

When I got home they were exhausted and didn’t want Allison to leave. She is the best sitter I have had and I highly recommend her.”

“Anne is amazing! We had unusual circumstances and she really helped us through. She was great at updating us and sending pictures so I didn’t worry. I have an older dog and they sometimes have accidents and she was very understanding. I had her stay at my house and she left it looking exactly like when I left. I highly recommend Anne.”

“Yai is absolutely fabulous. I have a very difficult rescue pup who has abandonment issues on top of OCD and requires medication. The meet and greet was wonderful and Caspian too to Yai right away. I was moving my son to Missouri and the move was chaotic and I had to add another day. Yai was wonderful and we made everything work. I never worried about Caspian, I knew he was in great hands!”

Allison C.
“Allie recently watched our family dog while I was away on vacation and it was a great experience for both. She made the dog feel at ease while we were away with daily walks and with our permission, a couple long walks at a nearby park. Upon our return, both our little dog and Allie were sad to part ways. Allie was ready to keep her another week if we would have let her. She is great with pets (dogs and cats) in showing plenty of love and affection and if needed, a reasonable amount of discipline to ensure no bad habits are gained. I recommend her with no hesitation.”
