About: I am a college student who has been taking care of animals since I was in kindergarten. I have always had at least 1 dog and 1 cat in every household I have been in. I currently have an Australian Shepard and 2 cats. I really like animals, so this would be great to get to love other animals. I am only at college for a few hours a day, otherwise I am home. I live in a house with my spouse, and we have plenty of time on our hands. I plan to follow the same routine for their pets as I would with my own. I take my dog out in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I take my dog out on a 30 minute walk everyday, and I pet on the animals for at least 20 minutes every day. If training is needed, I can teach basic commands while individuals are away.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for 25 years, and I have raised one by myself for the last 5 years. I love fur babies and want them to all feel loved. I have a very flexible work schedule and am able to take on jobs pretty much daily. Sometimes I do travel home, but that is not often. I can / will do anything you need from easily crating your dog, to playing with them and providing care to them. Feeding them, playing with them, just giving them company are all things I can do.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs for the past few years!! I have had a dog since I was 7 and have never had issues with walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with your pets!! I have a part time job as a lifeguard, so communication is all I need!! Overnight should never really be an issue and I can always stop in before and after shifts if needed. I would be able to accommodate to your home and adjust to anything your pet may need!! I have taken care of my own dog since a young age and understand the needs.

About: I’m currently going to Murray State to become a Vet Technician. I have loved animals my entire life. My friends and family have asked me many times to watch their animals and the animals and I always have a blast. I work at a pet store caring for reptiles, fish, and small animals. I absolutely love it. I work with animals everyday. Whether that be dog, cat, fish, hamster, rat, snake, lizard, or spider (and so many more). I feed them, bathe them, make sure all heating and lighting is correct at all time, and just generally making sure the health of the animals is good. And this also includes cleaning up after them. I want to make sure your animals stay as comfortable as possible. I know some pets can be weary of new people, so being in their own space, making them more comfortable with me is very important. I have a certification with Fear Free, so they have taught me many ways to keep an animal comfortable. Any rules that you may have will be followed directly and efficiently.

About: Since I was little, I’ve had a variety of pets I’ve taken care of. From dogs and cats, to lizards, fish, and guinea pigs. I also worked at a veterinary clinic from August of 2021 to the beginning of May 2022, and only had to quit because of my graduation program. I have bathed and trimmed nails before, but if your dog bites or nips I may stray away from pushing further. I am signing up for Rover in order to continue to work with animals this summer before going back to school. And I cannot wait to meet your fur baby! (only reason my profile says no pets is because i don’t need a sitter) I am currently only employed at one other place and I would hardly call it a part time job. In June I am scheduled to work about 6 days in the entire month, so besides my own vacation days, I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I will let you know ASAP if you schedule a day with me that doesn’t work out, and will try my absolute hardest to work around it for you! My yard is not fenced in but I have a variety of leashes, harnesses, and slip leads to accompany your pet. All the pets in my home are in cages when we are not home, to contain messes and mass destruction. I have 1 large dog kennel that is not taken up, and 2 small cat carriers.

About: I have been trusted to watch over and care for friends and family pets since I can remember, and it's one of my favorite things to do in my free time, along with being active and outdoors. I currently am just a full time student, with classes mostly on Tuesday/Thursday. I would be excited to work with pets in my off time during the week and over the weekend. I will not be able to offer my own place to care for pets but I have plenty of experience house sitting for family friends and others in the past and can be trusted as a responsible and respectful caretaker.

I understand the patience and love needed to take care of your babies! It is my priority to make sure your animals are given the best care possible. Animals have always had a special part of my life and with my husband gone I would love for them to bring extra love into my life! :)

She will always be our number one choice when we need a pet sitter!”

“I meet Tara at while working with our college students from Murray State. I learned that her major was Animal Science. As I got to know Tara, I knew she would be a perfect candidate to stay with my dog. We talked, had a meet and great. My dog loved her. I’ve had her stay with my dog 5 times and have had her go over in the day to let him out. She stays overnight with him and my house has always been in awesome condition when I’ve returned home. I would highly recommend her to take of anyone’s pets.”

“Ashley has watched our Malteese for years and she is incredible, reliable, kind and loves animals! I highly recommend her to anyone for their fur babies! She is incredibly organized, genuine, capable, and efficient! My dog now loves her!!”

Maddy H.
“I have had the pleasure of having Maddy take care of my dogs over the last five years. She not only is a wonderful individual to work with but she is true to her word and respects the approach we take to “dog parenting”. She is a true animal lover. Our dogs are all very different, one who has passed was aggressive with others on leash and she always maintained stern boundaries and a safe environment. The other is a German Short Hair Pointer with an abundance of energy and needs lots of exercise. The third is getting older and just needs love. I never once worried about the dogs with Maddy and would 10/10 recommend her for any and all pet needs.”

Justin P.
“Justin is an amazing human and a huge animal lover! He’s always around animals at home and at work! He will take great care of all your pets!”
