About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: Hello! I am a positive-reinforcement based dog trainer and lover who has experience with a plethora of dog breeds, ages, temperaments, and medical issues. I have an extensive history with caring for and training dogs, with a specialization in the training of fearful or reactive dogs. I believe that the responsibility of caring for another’s pet goes beyond the necessities: it is ensuring that the dog is comforted during an often difficult time, and the owner is reassured that their pet is in the best hands. Further, it is necessary to be sure that the animals physical, emotional, and needs are fully met. I hope to establish a relationship with the pet(s) and their owners. I genuinely care about the wellbeing of animals and make a great effort to ensure that the pet is comfortable and well taken care of. About: I’ve cared for my bulldog at home for many years now and make frequent visits to my grandmothers house to help her take care of her beagles. I have always had a passion to make animals specifically dogs time on earth the best it can be. I know they are incredibly misunderstood and no matter the animal, I have always found a way to get along with the fur baby. About: I have always taken care of dogs from my families to my friends. About 4 years ago I got my first dog and have enjoyed the process of being a pet parent. I understand leaving your dog can be stressful but I check in frequently because I understand that stress myself! I am a college student!! I have decently free schedules with having classes on Mon/Wed 11-430pm and Tue/Thurs 2-430PM. Fridays and Weekends are completely open! With Cats, I always make sure to check around the house for accidents and then take the litter out at least once a day. I’ll feed your cat according to the instructions provided and make sure water bowls are filled. I also like to make sure that a cat has at least 30 minutes of time to play and receive love. With dogs, I make sure to take them out during each visit for a potty break. I make sure to feed them according to Instructions and make sure water is full. I also like to check the house for accidents if they are free roam. I make sure to play for at least 30 minutes each visit that way they feel relaxed and happy!

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I have also volunteered with local shelters for many years. I am always thrilled when friends and family ask me to help out with their pets because dogs are the real happiness in the world. I have a very flexible schedule so I can offer my services at pretty much any point during the day. I have open availability throughout the week. I have a black lab/Great Pyrenees mix so I definitely love big dogs. My girl loves other dogs and we typically do walks around town at least 3 times per day. I try to keep both myself and my dog in decent shape so we can do as long a walk as she wants to do.

About: Hi! My name is Allie! My life revolves around my two border collies. We are constantly off finding adventures...hiking down new trails, swimming in lakes, herding sheep! Of course, we love an inside, sit on the couch type of day, as well. Whichever kind of day your pet needs, I would love the opportunity to care for them. I attended three years of veterinary technician school and have worked in several hospitals and shelter settings. From all those experiences, I learned how to interact with different personalities and treat medical emergencies. I am now in a different field that allows me to work from home the majority of the time. Therefore, I will be available to spend all day with your pets! I have also had horses my whole life and grew up working on ranches. If you have a hobby farm or other animals that need to be cared for, I am happy to do that as well! My goal is to never leave your pup alone for more than a couple of hours. I have two border collies that have never met a stranger. Depending on your dogs needs, we will take the proper steps to ensure every one is safe and happy for the entirety of their stay.

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, I am a nature and animal enthusiast at heart genuinely. About: I have taken care and had animals in my home for around 19 years now. I absolutely love animals, I love taking care of them and playing with them on a daily basis. I am willing to take care of your pet in every single way possible.:) I work at target part time, so my schedule ranges from 7:30 AM in the morning to around three or four in the afternoon. I’m a big morning person, so I am able to get up earlier than my scheduled shift time and take care of animals. As well, I am able to take care of them after my shifts and even dedicate more of my time to them on my off days. unfortunately, my yard does not have a fence, however, we do have a pretty spacious backyard and I am able to keep an eye on them and play with them all throughout their outside experience.

About: My husband and I have had dogs our entire life both big and small. We currently have a medium dog who is a dream to walk, and a large dog who walks us but we love both just the same! We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. We haven’t been able to stretch our legs out in our bed in 10 years because no matter how comfy our dogs bed is they always end up on ours so we don’t mind if they are on our furniture or bed!

About: Dogs have always been a part of my family since I was 10. I love to give them the attention and love they deserve! Your fur baby will miss you when you’re gone, but I can make that time away easier and less stressful. I work right down the road from my home, so I can check on them at lunch. On the weekends, I’m wide open and would love to watch your furry family member. Your dog can snuggle up on the sofa with me. If you need me to crate your dog, I can totally do that. I am also willing to take your dog for walks. I think sticking to the dog’s routine is best.
