About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: Hello! I am a positive-reinforcement based dog trainer and lover who has experience with a plethora of dog breeds, ages, temperaments, and medical issues. I have an extensive history with caring for and training dogs, with a specialization in the training of fearful or reactive dogs. I believe that the responsibility of caring for another’s pet goes beyond the necessities: it is ensuring that the dog is comforted during an often difficult time, and the owner is reassured that their pet is in the best hands. About: i’ve had dogs my entire life boxer, beagles, labs, poodles, i've walked, fed, and bathed them for as long as i can remember, taking care of dogs brings me joy, and i would treat your dog as my own i currently work night shift at ups, so i can’t stay the night or board the dogs but i can come over in the morning and walk or take care of them i also go to the gym everyday and physically fit to take care of them i am very respectful of other peoples houses, and of their pets, i would create a loving and safe environment and i can tend to anything needed
About: I have always taken care of dogs from my families to my friends. About 4 years ago I got my first dog and have enjoyed the process of being a pet parent. I understand leaving your dog can be stressful but I check in frequently because I understand that stress myself! I am a college student!! I have decently free schedules with having classes on Mon/Wed 11-430pm and Tue/Thurs 2-430PM. Fridays and Weekends are completely open! With Cats, I always make sure to check around the house for accidents and then take the litter out at least once a day. I’ll feed your cat according to the instructions provided and make sure water bowls are filled. I also like to make sure that a cat has at least 30 minutes of time to play and receive love. With dogs, I make sure to take them out during each visit for a potty break. I make sure to feed them according to Instructions and make sure water is full. I also like to check the house for accidents if they are free roam. I make sure to play for at least 30 minutes each visit that way they feel relaxed and happy!

About: Hi! My name is Allie! My life revolves around my two border collies. We are constantly off finding adventures...hiking down new trails, swimming in lakes, herding sheep! Of course, we love an inside, sit on the couch type of day, as well. Whichever kind of day your pet needs, I would love the opportunity to care for them. I attended three years of veterinary technician school and have worked in several hospitals and shelter settings. From all those experiences, I learned how to interact with different personalities and treat medical emergencies. I am now in a different field that allows me to work from home the majority of the time. Therefore, I will be available to spend all day with your pets! I have also had horses my whole life and grew up working on ranches. If you have a hobby farm or other animals that need to be cared for, I am happy to do that as well! My goal is to never leave your pup alone for more than a couple of hours. In that time, they can either be crated or have full access to our guest room for all their napping needs. :) I have a very large, fully fenced in backyard to play in. About: My husband and I have had dogs our entire life both big and small. We currently have a medium dog who is a dream to walk, and a large dog who walks us but we love both just the same! We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. We haven’t been able to stretch our legs out in our bed in 10 years because no matter how comfy our dogs bed is they always end up on ours so we don’t mind if they are on our furniture or bed!
