Cat Sitting in Williamsburg

About: I have been caring for animals my entire life. When I was 8 I started my own dog walking business to raise money for charity. More recently, I have been house and farm sitting for many people. I am comfortable taking care of cats, dogs, small pets, livestock, chickens, and whatever other pets you may have. I love animals, and I will make all of your kids feel loved while I'm there! I am currently a graduate student at William Woods University, getting my MBA. I just graduated with a degree in Equine Administration. I am working 20 hours a week as a graduate assistant. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to stop by the pets regularly. I care for all animals as if they were my own. I ensure that all animals have the same routine that they would have with their owners. Not having their people home can be very hard for pets, so I like to do everything I can to keep them calm, happy, and loved until their humans come home.

“I had Maia do drop-in visits for my two cats while I was on vacation this month. She was wonderful. She did an initial meet-n-greet and was very pleasant. While I was away, she completed each daily drop-in and sent me a meaningful update with several pictures. This helped ease my mind tremendously. My nearly feral cats (around strangers) were even eating treats out of her hand a couple or so days in and she sent pics of that. Very reassuring! Maia even put out bird seed daily for me so the wild birds I feed wouldn’t go without. Maia was as pleasant as they come. Her personal and professional experience with animals made me feel so much better leaving my pets under her supervision. Highly recommend Maia!”

About: I am an animal science major and absolutely adore animals! I grew up with 2 dogs and have taken care of friends dogs and cats over the past year while also house sitting. I am working part time at a horse clinic while also going to class. I have time in between classes to take out, feed or play animals and after work I can attend to them as well. I live in an apartment so I will not be able to do over nights but would love to take your dog on a walk and play with them to meet their exercise needs!

About: Growing up, I was a part of a program called Human Animal Bonding in Colorado, where I was taught how to connect top dogs emotionally, socially and verbally and use those skills to apply to real life situations, breaking me out of my social, insecure, neurodivergent shell. I've grown up with six big terriers, so I know my way around big, cuddly, dogs. My best friend is a German Shepherd named Ziva. I currently work part-time shifts that can go from 7-2 (Tues), or 7 - 11 (Wed), or 7-4 (weekends). I wish to pursue my dog-loving passions and possibly turn it into a career, alongside with my first responder training, and I hope starting Rover will do that. I take care of big dogs, numerous cats, and six other types of animals at home, so I can't have other animals at home due to the unfamiliarity. I am looking for extra activities, ones that consists outside of work and home because that's all where I am ever at these days. I just moved to Missouri, and I hope to find show the love I have for animals to places beyond my home. I have all kinds of necessary dog/cat accommodations. I have crates if needed, toys, extra food, leashes, etc. In my home, I have two big dogs who are trained to stay on 30 acres of property, they co-exist with barn cats and other various animals. Because of the other critters on the land, I do have to let them outside every time I leave the house. I had a dog that received special medical treatment every day and had to be watched regularly as he grew mean and tiredsome due to his deteriorating health. Fortunately, he is in a better place, but it shows that I can manage and care for dogs all of different behaviors and necessities and if I can use some of that stuff for other dogs, I've love to.

About: I grew up with dogs and started taking care of our family pet when I was ~12. As an adult, I don’t have any pets because every few years I go abroad to teach English. I would never want to get a pet just to rehome them after a year or two. I have been house/pet setting through trusted house sitters since 2019. I have completed 12 sits through that site and have a 5 star rating :) ive done basic sits - feed, walk, water, etc. As well as more complicated sits, requiring medication. I'm happy to send anyone a copy of my THS profile so that you can check out my reviews (Rover won't let me post it here( I teach at a university in Saudi Arabia during the school year. I have summers off and spend them in Missouri with my family. My schedule in the summer are very open / flexible I take great care to follow your instructions regarding your pets and your home. When doing housesits or drop ins, I'm always conscientious about locking everything up when I leave. If I see any pet accidents during the visit, I make sure to clean it up 😊

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little! I grew up on a farm & then during college I worked for a dog training facility & cared for many dogs there as well! I work weekdays with some exceptions on the weekends. My calendar of availability is updated everyday. Please do not book out longer than a month from the current date without messaging me first. I have a dog of my own! She’s super friendly. But I won’t be bringing her with me on calls unless talked about with you first!

About: I have been animal sitting now for the last six years of my life. I have taken animals of all sizes and animals with disabilities and special needs. I work Tuesday through Saturday from 9-5 but I am available anytime outside of the frame. Holidays I am always available for if given enough notice. I like to give lots of attention, let me know what your fur baby likes and doesn’t to help me take the best care I can for them. Lists are a big help for me on anything from what time they eat to when they need their medicine.

“Caitlin was wonderful! She came by to meet our 5 cats the same day that she agreed to the booking and was so patient and receptive to each of our animals needs. She took time with them and gave them space to let them come to her and we were pleasantly surprised at how friendly everyone was with her and how comfortable they seemed around her. During the visit she sent pictures and went above and beyond the care instructions, washing the dishes used for their meals, replacing our tissues, and leaving the house better than when we left. She communicated throughout the entire process and made us feel safe in leaving our felines and our home in her hands.”

About: Hi! I’m Rachel & I formerly worked at A Second Chance! I grew up around high maintenance & energy dogs (Huskies) which made me very reliable on caring for & cleaning up after them! I’m a very avid animal rescuer, specializing in cats! This year alone I’ve rescued 3 litters of kittens, cared for all & rehomed them to great homes. I’m a proud cat & dog mom! I have 4 cats & a Siberian Husky. This keeps me on my toes everyday & leaves me wanting more experience with other animals. I grew up on farms so I’m a lot of fun outside & great with long walks!
