About: I’ve always enjoyed watching my friends' pets and this is a great way to continue doing what I love. I volunteer at shelters when I am able to, which has given me the experience of breeds all shapes and sizes! I got my first dog, Cassiar, a Jack Russell Terrier, when I was just 3 years old. Growing up alongside her taught me important lessons about understanding dogs' unique needs, behaviors, and the deep, unconditional bond we share with our pets. With this knowledge, I strive to ensure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved! Since it is summer I am home 24/7 and have a very flexible schedule! Making it easy for me to cater towards your pets needs. I have a fenced yard that has plenty of room to roam around! As well as a clean environment for your pets to make them feel at home.

I pet sit regularly for friends and family, and I have old neighbors/ friends who still ask me to come clip their dogs nails or bathe them. I’m working part time as a server right now so I’m available to hang and cuddle with your pets anytime after 3 pm! (Thursday- Saturday) I’m available to walk your pup or drop in and visit them anytime from 6am to 11am and 3pm to 10pm! I will be incredibly respectful of your space and leave it exactly as I found it. When walking your pup their safety is my number one concern! I promise to make sure they don’t find anything that could possibly hurt them or let them be away from me at any point in time. At any point in time you will be able to contact me for an update, and I’ll automatically provide updates throughout my time with your animals just to ease your mind!

“Makalli was incredible with my dog! I was so worried! I've never left my dog with anyone before. I am not local and was just passing through and needed someone to look after my dog while I went to an appointment. The appointment went long past expected and Makalli was so flexible and gracious about the whole situation! She put me at ease and did really well with my dog, who can be a bit of a rowdy one sometimes! Five out of five recommend!”

About: edit: slightly raised my overnight and walking rates. if you were a repeat customer before this change I can continue to honour my original prices if you wish. I'm a long time dog lover and lover of animals in general. Over the years I've lived in places or have visited places that have had dogs and I always get along great with them. My current job allows me to come into contact with several dogs on a daily/nightly basis and they always seem to flock to me. I'm an avid walker too so to be able to help someone with the walking of their own furry family member would be a great joy. I spend a lot of time alone and getting to spend some of that with someone's dog even for a couple hours I'm sure will benefit all of us greatly. I think I could be a great help to you all. Prices are negotiable!

Jacob G.Star Sitter
“I sincerely believe that Jacob G. would make a very good pet sitter and/or dog walker. He has a real love and kindness for pet animals. Over the years, he has been around the many pets that we have had: to date, one dog and six cats, with two cats still living. At different times in the past when I and my wife have gone out of town, some trips short and some long, we have relied on Jacob to come and take care of them. We know that we can trust him to do a good job. When we are at home and he comes over to visit us, almost the first thing he does is to look around for one of the pets (currently one of the two cats we still have). I think that he is more interested in them than he is in us. We have observed him around other people’s pets and his manner is the same toward those pets as with ours. Although he looks a little scruffy at times, he has a kind heart and caring disposition. I believe that he would be careful with other people’s pets and would treat them in a good, kind, and caring, but responsible, manner. I believe that Jacob G. should be given a chance to be a pet sitter and/or dog walker for Rover.com. Thank you. Sincerely, Rob Groman Amarillo, Texas”

Shelby S.
“I can’t say enough good things about Shelby! As a devoted pet lover and responsible caregiver, she has a natural connection with animals. Whether it’s her playful energy that gets dogs excited for a walk or her calming presence that helps anxious pets feel at ease, Shelby has a unique ability to make every furry friend feel special. I’ve seen her care for my own pets, Felipe and Irina, and it’s clear that they adore her. She goes above and beyond, ensuring each pet gets the love, attention, and exercise they need. Shelby is not only reliable and punctual, but she also has an incredible instinct for understanding what each pet needs, whether it’s a game of fetch or some quiet cuddle time. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets like family, Shelby is the perfect choice!”
