About: I am an experienced pet care taker. I had a dog of my own for 7 years before she passed away of a heart condition. Before that my family had dogs and cats growing up. I also consistently foster animals through one of the organizations in town. I work from home and can be pretty flexible about my schedule. When I have a dog I'm usually taking them out over 2-4 hours based on age and need. While away depending on the dogs need I I have dog gates in my home, so they will be restricted to where they are in the house when i'm around and when i'm not around. My place is clean and is a decent size - it is an apartment.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a little girl. Love playing and spending some time with them! Would also love helping people out who need it! I only work 3.5 days a week so have a lot of free time available! Would love using my spare time to help out people who need it with the fur babies I have a fenced in back yard, so the dog would able to run around. If I was at the clients home, I would spend time playing with them(leashed if there is no fence).

Sonya was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our cats while we were away, even going the extra mile to make them feel safe and comfortable. One of our cats is very shy and skittish, but Sonya was so patient and understanding, checking in on her regularly and even bringing food and toys to her hiding spot. Her thoughtful ideas like playing relaxing music and keeping a soft light on at night showed how much she truly cares about the pets she watches. Sonya also kept us updated throughout every visit with detailed messages and photos, which really gave us peace of mind while we were gone. She even brought in our packages, took our trash bins to the street and back, and made sure everything around the house was safe and secure. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We highly recommend Sonya and will definitely reach out to her again in the future!
Sonya was a great match for my three cats. She was friendly and kind. My cats loved her. Sonya paid attention to important details and even made sure to ask if my pets take meds or need any specific care. She was on time and never left me guessing if my pets were safe. She went above and beyond and even cleaned up after the cats after each visit, which is very helpful!
