About: I am not your typical pet-sitter. I have spent my entire life caring for all types of animals. My first job was at a pet store learning the skills of working with animals and their people. After college I worked as a zookeeper where I cared for everything from mealworms all the way to rhinos. Specialized care was the name of the game there and I was able to recognize the smallest details on how to improve my work with exotics. Then I was led into the world of shelter work. Where I studied pet behavior and early signs of stress and how enrichment can help save lives. Many animals coming into the shelter would need some form of medication as well. I have a skillset of administering medications and making sure the animals actually receive their meds. Lastly, I was a dog training apprentice. I was able to form bonds with dogs that most people wouldn't come near. I can read body language well and know how to show dogs respect. I aim to be your go-to pet-sitter where you can actually enjoy your trip. I will make your pet my priority. I have an excellent ability to find balance in my schedule. You can trust that your pet is cared for how you want them to be. I have quite a few pets in my home and all are well cared for. I will offer the same care to the animals you care for. I will ask for detailed instructions and follow your schedule as closely as I can.

About: People’s pets are family, and they should be taken care of accordingly! I’ll give updates during each service so you know your pet is taken care of properly. Drop ins - I’ll sit and play with your animal for the allotted time to make sure they aren’t lonely all day, because who likes that? Will send an update with a picture if you’d like. Walking - will walk down any trail that is close by, take the scenic route. If roads can be avoided they will be. No animals should be near roads as it could be dangerous. Will send pictures with updates of how much your pet is loving their walk. Sitting/Boarding - Finding a pet sitter is stressful, I am here to make it easy. If you would like to board your pet with me I would more than happy to take care of them. We have a dog ourselves and he is the sweetest! Will take special requests as well during the services! I’ll love your pet while you are away. I do work full time in an office 9-5pm. Allowing for plenty of time after work or on the weekends to spend with your pet. We live on a farm with plenty of space for your pet to play and explore under our supervision. We have 2 other dogs that get along great with other dogs and will keep your pet company!

About: My name is Chelsea. I am a United States Navy Veteran and West Michigan native who finds purpose and passion through caring for animals. Unfortunately, we cannot bring our beloved pets everywhere we go in life, which is why I understand how necessary it is to find a trustworthy, reliable, and loving sitter. From traveling to pet sit in southern California, fostering a German sheperd for 9 months, or driving down the road to give some love at lunchtime to local animals, I'm your sitter! I'm currently working part time, and am able to dedicate time to care for pet care. I look forward to discussing time-frames that are needed to give your pet everything they need to live happy and healthy! While responsible for your pets, there will be keen attention to detail to maintain safety. Leashes, toys, and interactions with other animals will be monitored accordingly.

About: I have cared for dogs ever since I was a young teen! I have been chosen by neighbors, family friends, and others to dog sit while away, walk their dogs, and play with them! I have two amazing cats and currently live in a household with six animals, my two cats and four dogs and I truly love every second of it. It’s always been a passion of mine to care for animals. I’m currently working in obtaining my degrees to become a wildlife biologist so I can truly put that passion to good use! Caring for your pets in your own home, I will be respectful, responsible, and considerate of your home and belongings. About: My name is Sammie, I have been involved in animal welfare for 5 years (shelter jobs/rescue) and have worked with all kinds of temperaments and have done some training/fostering and dog bathing/medical care! I love all animals and don't mind excited dogs jumping all over me. I have 3 medium/large dogs of my own, and a cat. I have experience with all kinds of species though! Working in shelters and fostering animals made animal care something that I am very serious and passionate about so spending the majority of my day caring for animals is something I am very comfortable and confident doing. About: I've been raised around all ages of puppies/dogs, use to work at a dog daycare for a few years, took behavior classes, and did nail trimming. Also have done walking at the daycare and also with my own dogs. I have took care of seniors also that have needed medicine I'm a stay at home mom with my baby daughter, 2 dogs Toby and Koda, and my fluffy playful kitten Snooze. I have spaces in my day where I will be able to take care of your furry babies for you while you have to work/trip I do grooming for my dogs and kitten, walk/play with my dogs every day. At night I make sure to give each one alone time with me before bed so they don't get jealous of eachother

About: I currently work full time in Grand Rapids. I have had two golden retrievers that I grew up with. Both made it to 10, so I have some experience with senior dogs. I love and miss them so much. I currently have three cats (lost one cat in 2021) and love them so much as well. I don’t have experience with bathing cats or dogs but love to cuddle and play with them. I have experience with cleaning up accidents, and cleaning up litter boxes. I work in Grand Rapids, so I’m not home during the day. However, I check their food and water at the beginning and end of the day. I also do their litter boxes either everyday or every other day. I play and snuggle daily. I keep my cats inside. I do not have a fenced in backyard so I would be keeping dogs on a leash outside while I’m outside with them.

About: I welcome dogs of any breed into my home. I’ll treat your dog like it’s one of my own. They will also have dogs to play with while here! I’m available on weekends! Friday nights after 5:30pm until Sunday night around 9pm. In the summer I’ll be available week nights and if my schedule changes I will update everyone! (I do take dogs on some holidays! Message for details!) I have a no fenced yard, but I live in a rural area with little traffic down a lake road. My yard is over an acre and butts up to a field with only one neighbor who’s rarely home. My dogs have a blast running around outside! I also usually allow my dogs to roam the house while we are home and crate them while we leave.

About: Hi! I’m Maggie. I have been watching and have owned dogs,cats,birds,chicken lizards ( even the ones that fly) , snakes , fish , turtles, bunnies all my life . There is something so special in the love and care of creatures that rely on us for all their needs . I have babysat many a friend and families pets throughout my life . I am honored to be the caretaker and “ Mommy” of two beautiful Golden Retrievers along with their German Shepherd cousins from time to time . I have experience working with a Veterinarian in East Lansing as well as training and grooming . And , not to leave out, hands on training as well.
