“Ashley was an outstanding dog sitter! She was incredibly nice and communicated excellently throughout my trip. She provided plenty of pictures, keeping me updated and at ease. Her kids adored my pup, giving her lots of love and attention. It was clear my dog was in great hands, enjoying every moment. I highly recommend Ashley for anyone needing a reliable and caring dog sitter. She exceeded all expectations!”

“Tammy took great care of my dog while I was on vacation. This was the first time I'd ever left him for this long with anyone besides my parents and I was incredibly nervous about it. Tammy made me feel comfortable and assured me that he would be fine. She sent me updates while I was gone to make sure I knew he was settling in and getting along well. He fit in so well that by the time I got back to pick him up he was guarding her house just like he does mine. I really appreciate how well she took care of my dog and how she went out of her way to calm my nerves.”

“Brought our girl here for her first “boarding” experience and I now understand why Christina has such glowing reviews. I received many photos and updates throughout the stay. Christina is a pro and made sure our pup felt at home and got plenty of exercise.”

“Barbora was an amazing dog sitter!!! Very attentive to details and great communication throughout the stay. My dog felt very comfortable and seemed well loved!!! Will definitely use them again in the future!!!!!”

“Our pup did great at Mandi’s! I didn’t have to worry at all because she sent pictures of his day and an update of what he did. She was so sweet to send him home with a personalized bandana and a jar of homemade treats! Definitely recommend!”

“Sarah was great about giving many updates with pictures. I would definitely use her again. It's hard leaving your fur baby behind, but she made me feel much better about it.”

“We’ve used Cynthia several times and have been very pleased. Winston goes on walks, lounges around the house or fenced in yard, enjoys the company of Cynthia’s pets and is well-taken care of. Cynthia keeps me updated with photos/texts. She’s easy to schedule with and obviously cares for animals. Highly recommend!”

About: I've had two dogs, one puppy and one rescue (both Wheaten Terriers). I miss them and decided to offer my home to other dogs who mostly prefer the comforts of being in a homely environment, especially for senior dogs who need to feel settled while owners are away. I am near the trails so dogs can have a long and safe walk, or just a few 20 minute strolls around the neighborhood - it's the dog's choice! Your dog will be in very good hands. I am available 24/7 with a daily routine that would accommodate a pet dog in my household to look after and care for as if my own. I sometimes board my neighbor's dog and a feeding routine is maintained during the day, early morning walk and throughout the day as required. I have no fence so a pee break is on leash around the gardens of my home. We usually walk about 3 times per day (weather permitting) with a final pee break before bedtime. Play times and cuddle times are spontaneous, as well as nap times! I don't mind dogs on my leather sofa.

“I was happy with Stacie watching my dogs, Stacie is nice, and pleasant, my dogs like her as well. Stacie sent me a picture of my dogs at her place. My dogs looked happy.. Thank you Stacie.”

About: Small dogs? Large dogs? Cats? I love them all. I have worked in the animal industry for years and I love it. I love both cats and dogs, could never pick between the two of them. I have had my own dog, along with my own cats. In the past I have had guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, snakes and other reptiles so really nothing is off limits. I currently work from home, so fitting you into the daily routine and schedule is going to be a breeze! Dog needs more time? Consider in home! I take one to two dogs in home at a time as to not stress the dog(s) out! I can easily crate if needed, but I prefer the free roaming way! Im home all day for work and such, so being free and comfortable is my goal!

About: We will spoil your 4 legged fur baby and will give you daily updates. Will take them for daily walks and have play time until they are tuckered out. Can't forget about all the free snuggles too! I'm hoping that he/she will become our new best friend and part of our extended family as well as their new "Doggy/Kitty Nanny"! 🐈🐾🐕❤️ Our schedule is flexible so we are happy to work around your schedule! Life is busy so we want to make sure things run smoothly for you and your precious babies! ❤️🐾 We have a large fenced in yard with lots of room to play. We love to be outside and going on walks so bringing a new furry friend with us on a little adventure would not only be exciting but would also be a great bonding time for us too!

About: Hi, I’m Gabbi, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for other people’s pets! I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve handled hundreds of cats so I am used to every personality. I have also cared for reptiles, amphibians, fish, farm animals, and rodents. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. I have experience with cats and dogs affected by cerebral palsy, deafness, blindness, and other special needs. I am experienced in administering multiple forms of medication. I also volunteer for an animal shelter, which gives me a lot of unique situations and experiences! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. My shifts are typically 6 hours or less, and I only work up to 3 days a week. I do sometimes have other commitments that are unlikely to take more than 4 hours at a time. For people interested in boarding, I have a fenced yard and an 11/yo, 15 lb Shih Tzu who is very friendly. He is laid back and prefers dogs who are also laid back, but has never shown aggression with high energy dogs. I typically walk the dogs I watch at least once a day, but that can vary on the age and/or the activity level of the dog. I can also take them to a park, weather permitting! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.

“Taylor and her Husband Duncan were great. Dogs had a great tim and they kept us up to date with pics and messages. I would definitely recommend having them sit your pups. They make a great team and do a good job! Will for sure use again!”

About: I am currently obtaining my masters degree in counseling from McKendree University with hopes to be a play therapist. I am also a collegiate cheerleader at the school. I have been working at Highland Primary for 3 years, as well as teaching private swim lessons for around 10 years now. I have had my own beagle named Bella for 10 years! I am very flexible with scheduling which gives me a lot of time to be able to come play with your dogs. I have volunteered at the local animal shelter in my hometown and have had lots of experience pet sitting. I’ve had dogs around my whole life and I would love to be able to play with yours!! Between the craziness, I do have flexibility during the week! Most evenings, weekends, and some mornings I am looking to care for your pet! I would love to help you out! I have a big yard that may have to be shared with my friendly beagle! I would love to be able to take your dog to the park, and if they are willing have a play date with Miss Bella! I would prefer to visit in your home for the comfort of the dog, but my door will be open if needed.

About: Currently, I have 2 of my own, and 2 that I am watching for my daughter. What can I say - I like dogs...and I think they can sense that. ❤️❤️❤️ I am an early riser and typically go to the gym. And, evenings wont be a problem. I would be happy to accommodate my schedule to meet your needs. Right now, I have open availability on the weekends, but will consider weekdays upon request. I do have dogs of my own and a fenced back yard. But, my preference is not to dog sit at my home at this time.

About: I grew up on a horse farm and have been an animal lover all of my life. I have raised dogs, cats, horses, sheep and even ferrets. I have a lot of experience with high energy and large dog breeds (owning two Australian Shepherds myself). Pets love my bubbly and caring personality. I promise to treat your pet(s) as if they were my own. I take pet care and pet ownership very seriously. Leaving a pet can cause stress for both the owner and the pet. Let me be the person you can rely on to take the upmost care of your furry friend while you are away. I am very flexible with my availability and feel free to PM me with any questions you have before booking. Thank you :) I work full time (9-5) as a lab supervisor in St Charles, MO. I do have about an hour commute both ways so M-F will be the most time your pup would have to wait for a potty break. Otherwise I’m an absolute homebody and love to spend time with my own pets and meet new ones! We have an open 2 acre yard complete with a leashed dog run. We can easily accommodate a crate trained pup as well. I have a super friendly Aussie and a cat who would keep your pets company during the work week.

About: Just getting started here on Rover; however, I have years of experience taking care of family and friends pets. Whether they’re dogs, cats, reptiles, etc. I love all animals and my children who are 11 & 13, also love and enjoy helping me care for others pets. We have a miniature dachshund who is so handsome and playful. I would love to take care of your pets ❤️ I have a flexible work schedule, so that allows my availability throughout the day and night to cater to your pets needs. I am available weekends as well and would love to help care for your fur baby whenever needed. I am able to give full attention to your animals in your home. I can drop by at anytime and let them outside, feed and give them water. I can also stay and play with them so they get the attention they deserve!

Emily M.
“Emily has been entrusted with the periodic care of our dog and three cats for more years than I can recount. We met her when she was in Animal Tech at the local High School and have enjoyed her thoughtful, caring manner every time we needed a sitter for our animals. Regardless of whether they were young and getting into everything or as they are now getting on in years and in need of much more hands on care. Emily has our complete trust and often advises us as she notices behaviors that we may have missed and always has the pets health and wellness as her top concern. I have no problem recommending her to care for whatever pet has become a member of your family.”
