About: I love taking care of animals! Ive been a pet sitter for friends and family for over 30 years, in addition to having fur babies of my own. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including senior pets, puppies, and kittens. Our pets are part of the family, and we shower them with love! I am a retired teacher, with lots of free time to take care of your pets! I would love to introduce your pets to my dog, Franny and my cat, Numa. Our animals are at the center of everything we do! We have a fenced back yard for our pets to play in. We have a friendly dog who loves to play, and a cat who loves dogs! Our home is pet-friendly and very comfortable for all animals.

About: I have always grown up having pets around and am currently the pet mom to my beautiful boy Sulley (a 4 year old Australian shepherd) and Toulouse (an 3 year old) . We are always out and about, going on hikes and walks around Whitefish and would love to be able to add a few doggie (or kitty) friends to our daily routine. We also don’t mind sitting on the couch and being a bum. I know how important it is for you to feel safe leaving your animal with someone and I hope to be that person for you and your pets. I work PRN at Logan Health Behavioral Health so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to give lots of attention and time with each pet I watch. Leaving your pet can be scary so knowing someone is attentive to their needs is important. I want to make sure I keep your animals routine as normal as possible so I always love to hear the basics of what makes your animal happy/their need to the tiny details that only a pet parent knows.

About: Hi guys! I have experience with small dogs, big dogs, and cats! I have helped feed, exercise, and groom our furry friends! I own a bulldog who is super hyper and slobbery. I adore working with puppies, and have no trouble with energy and slobber ;)! I have done overnight stays and have taken care of sick pets. I can give oral medications and apply any creams, etc. I have also made homemade dog foods and special meal prep for different dietary needs, every dog is different! I really enjoy showing our furry friends affection, lots of pets and cuddles but if they’re more energetic I also enjoy tug-o-war, fetch and walks! I like to get to know your pet individually to meet their needs specifically! I work part time but have a huge heart for helping out with the communities furry friends! About: I love dogs, and i truly think they are the best stress relievers! I have had over 9 dogs in my life and all of them have been spoiled with love. I am a nail tech and newly wed! I just moved to whitefish Montana and while my business is part-time, so I have plenty of time for your best bubbies! I live in a neighborhood right next to whitefish lake, and I take my dogs to the lake once a day and let themrun around and have the best times!

About: I’ve grown up with large breed dogs my entire life! I’ve also been helping my mom dog sit since I was in elementary school and some of the kids I nannied in high school had a family dog I’d have to watch as well! I currently don’t work and only plan on bartending part time this summer so my schedule is super open. Also have been looking for more excuses to be more active and outside so I figured what better way than to hang out with some pups. I’ve had dogs of my own so I know how important rules and cues are. I have a dog in my home but I would only bring your dog here if he wasn’t around. His name is cheese, he’s chill but on the anxious side so I wouldn’t want to risk anything. My backyard is fenced! I would also strictly follow whatever rules and notes you leave behind for me about your dogs specific care.

About: I’ve grown up with many horses, dogs and cats, and have spent time volunteering at the local ESPCA. I have lots of experience dog and cat sitting, and I love animals and love to spoil them as much as possible! I work in Kalispell, but live in Whitefish. So weekends work better for me in Whitefish, but I have an hour long lunch break for walks and am happy to stay in Kalispell during the week to dogsit. I’m happy to do 2 walks a day and check in every 4 hours, and to spend evenings with dogs when I’m Housesitting. Also fine with medications & specific needs.

About: I have professional experience dog sitting and walking and treat each animal as if they were my own. I've experienced a large variety of breeds, ages, and sizes. I pay attention to details and send a text report after every visit, including adorable pictures. I am very aware of my surroundings and do everything I can to ensure a safe and enjoyable walk. If you have a feline friend in addition to your canine I take care of their food, water, and cat box as needed. I make sure your pet has fresh water and food or medicine if necessary, as well as change pee pads. I give small treats when appropriate as well. I supply my own treats and poop bags but also respect requests for no treats. :)

About: Bringing joy and companionship to young and mid-life athletic dogs via hiking, trailrunning, and xc skiing, as well as supporting older dogs to feel important too on smaller woods walks or town walks, or just belly rubs and time together is one of my favorite things to do. Currently, I have an 14-year old West Highland Terrier who is slowing down but still loves to hike to local lakes on the WF Trail. I also have a 3 yo Golden Retriever who is lovable and my main trail-running buddy. I have had a long line of good dogs by my side since I was a kid, mainly Newfoundlands and Golden Retrievers, each deeply loved family members. I know how tough it can be to leave them behind on trips or full days away from home & am glad to offer your pets and you reassurance and comfort through communicative, attentive, kind-hearted pet care. I'm most comfortable with the temperament of mid-sized and large-breed dogs, but also comfortable with most other breeds and sizes as well. I also am a cat lover & have two wonderful, cuddly felines. I am up for petsitting support with established local clients after having provided daytime support previously. I'm a literature professor who teaches grad school remotely, so my schedule is often my own and quite flexible. I recently decided I want to do something hands on to help other dogs in the community who might be stuck at home, so decided to add a profile here with the aim of having 2-3 regular dog or cat clients who know me well. Mostly I'd offer town walks on leash or dog park time for your dog, but for those who wish for a more extended outdoor outing, I can offer hikes as well for an additional rate. I have a Subaru Outback with the back seats laid down for a comfy, padded doggie area in the back, so can transport all sizes of dogs out for hikes; I have a ramp for dogs who need that for their hips, etc. I am very attentive and caring with dogs in my care, and would only take on one or two dogs at a time who are compatible with each other so as to have that connection with each dog, OR would more likely just do one on one time with one dog at a time. I would slowly build mutual trust to determine what is safe for your dog as far as listening skills in the woods, being on leash in the woods or off leash, etc. I'm very considerate with bears, mountain lions, and other critters in our local ecosystems - it's always on my radar to keep them safe and your/my pets safe mutually! Having grown up in and recreated in East Glacier and Whitefish since I was a kid, I know these mountains well and how to keep pets safe and happy amid an outdoor lifestyle. I live in central Whitefish so am able to support pets within the Whitefish area primarily but open to nearby rural areas as well.
