About: I have taken care of numerous pets for family and friends, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, ferretsand even hermit crabs! Along side this my family has owned dogs since I was 2 years old, and I've done my pest to train and care all of them. I am a part-time worker along with a seasonal school photographer so I have plenty of spare time to help care for your pet's needs! I believe it is beat to care for a pet in their own space. Having their family leave can be stressful enough so I believe it is important to help them feel both safe and cared for.

“Taryn wasn't able to meet Zima until she got here to babysit. She walked in the door and immediately started talking and went right over to Zima and started petting her and talking to her. I was instantly at ease. She sent me pictures throughout the night and told me what she was doing and how well she ate her dinner. She had to give her some medication and she let me know that she took it well.I would recommend Taryn to anyone.”

I received daily updates and pictures throughout my trip, which really put me at ease. It was clear she was keeping them both happy and entertained, and I’m so grateful for that! My dog is a bit temperamental (she’s a chow mix), and this was my first time leaving her with someone who wasn’t family, so I was a little nervous. But Ashleigh handled it like a pro! She seemed to really connect with both my pets, and I could tell they had a great time with her. I was hesitant to use Rover at first since my pets mean the world to me, but after this experience, I feel so much more confident. I will absolutely be booking Ashleigh again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s a true animal lover, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. 10/10!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. Our house was very clean when we got home and she left a note for us about how the week went in addition to the messages she had sent throughout the week. About: I love being able to take care of dogs, I have always grown up with dogs in the home and also have worked in a professional dog boarding facility. I am currently a student so I have plenty of time on the weekends and afternoons. I am usually available anytime after 3pm and anytime on the weekends. I would love to walk your dogs or visit them if needed. I love walking dogs and have walked very large and strong dogs a countless number of times.
