I can administer medications orally, topically, give injections, and IV fluids with confidence. I'll take care of your pet as as if they were one of my own! For drop-in visits in your home, I am flexible throughout the week and have availability on weekdays and weekends. I am happy to come by anytime between 7 am and 10 pm. For doggy day care or boarding in my home, my office is 5 mins away from home. My partner works from home during the week and is glad to tag in to help with pet care as needed. I have my own vehicle and can easily travel to care for your pet in the Harrisonburg or Rockingham County area. I am happy to care for your pet in your home according to any instructions or requests that you share. I am also happy to water plants or bring in mail if you wish. After a successful meet and greet, I would be happy to host your pet in my home. There's a fully fenced yard and ample grass to romp in and take care of business. I live in a quiet neighborhood and am game to take your dog on a walk with mine. Pets are welcome on the furniture and there's even space to snuggle up in the bed if they're used to bunking up together at night. Our 7 year old female Yorkie is very dog-friendly and enjoys having company. She's a good playmate if your dog is up for a little tug on a toy or chase in the yard. She's also good at reading signs from dogs when they're done playing or want to be left alone. We would love to welcome you to our home for a meet and greet prior to booking to make sure everyone gets along.

About: Hi! My name is Riley and I'm a 20-year-old nursing student originally from South Carolina. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm raising and caring for different animals, so caretaking has always come naturally to me. As of now, I have 4 dogs back at home and 1 dog currently residing with me. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise — whether it’s relaxing at home, going for walks, playing in the dog park, or exploring nearby trails. In my home, your pet will also have the opportunity to socialize with my own friendly dog, who loves making new pup friends. I always keep a close eye on behavior and health to make sure they are happy and stress-free. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away.

About: I have owned multiple dogs in my adulthood. I currently own a 2 year old golden who I have personally trained. I have worked at a dog day care for 5 months where I learned more about dog body language and how to diffuse any fights. I have walked and babysat dogs for friends. I consider all dogs to be my friends, because there is no such things as a bad dog. I work 12 hour night shifts Friday-Sunday. I am completely available Monday-Thursday, but can do some walks on weekends. Because my weeks are so open then I can spend more time taking care of pups. I have a friendly golden retriever who is only 2 (almost 3). She loves to play! She does great with other dogs (she used to have a brother) but also knows how to cuddle and chill. We have a big dog park that is hardly ever used where I could take her and yours.

I would love to help keep your up companion’s routine whenever you cannot. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to help you take care of your fur babies! I am available most weekends. I do not have a fenced in yard, but walks are frequent. My dog has a very mild temperament and would love to help tire out your pup if they like making new friends.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats since I was 6 and after that eventually started taking care of dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs. I’ve also volunteered in multiple animal shelters and able to understand the need of any regular or special-need pet. I have worked a couple of years as a cat trainer as well. Currently I have three cats and two guinea pigs! One of my cat is a special need, incontinent cat, so I understand how to take care of a special fur-baby. I will take great care of your fur babies and make sure that they have a good time while you are away! I’m working from home and my husband works from home. We are available to take care of your fur babies on both weekends and weekdays! I am available to play with your dogs and cats after 5pm from Monday- Wednesday and all days on the other days. I have three very sweet and well behaved cats, they are indoor-outdoor and very friendly with neighbors cats and dogs. They will make your pet feel welcome and comfortable in my house. I have worked for years in shelters and took care of animals in need. I understand immediately if they are in distress, unhappy or scared. I can calm them down, will meet their needs and will be there are a friend and a caregiver.
