I work the same hours every week, and have plenty of downtime to find a plan that works for you. On Mon, Wed, Thur, and Sat I work from 10AM, and get off between 2PM and 4PM. I am free otherwise, so I’ll have ample time to hangout with your friend! I have a very mellow cat who has lived with dogs, but she can also be secured in her own space in my house if needed. I have a large, fenced backyard and live near a park as well. I prefer to watch pets in their own environment to maintain routine and decrease anxiety, but I’m open to accommodating in my home as well! I have a car, so you won’t need to worry about pick ups or drop offs if that’s a concern.

I have a dog and cats at home who I miss dearly while I’m away at college, so pet sitting is a great way for me to spend time with animals and give them the same love and attention I give my own. “Kamryn was outstanding and provided excellent care for Will, our cat. To best illustrate how amazing Kamryn was with Will, I will explain a couple things about Will. First, Will is very shy but also needy. Therefore, though it doesn't always appear so to an outside observer, he truly thrives on human interaction despite his shyness. He can actually get physically ill during our absences due to the change in - or sometimes lack of - human contact and socialization. Secondly, he is getting older, becoming somewhat of a senior kitty, and as such needs just a little extra care and attention from that perspective. Thus, one of the things we value most in a pet sitter is communication, and Kamryn truly excelled in this area. Given the two "Will traits" listed above, we particularly value communication, so (a) we can receive the per-visit updates (Rover cards) to get a concrete sense of his (hopeful) human interaction since he needs it so much, and (b) we can feel at ease that he is doing okay health-wise in our absence given that he is becoming a senior kitty. Kamryn provided amazing updates during each of her visits, so her communication was truly second to none and gave us peace of mind that he was getting both socialization and top-notch care. She always did the Rover cards, and was super quick in the back-and-forth messaging within Rover. Kamryn was not just communicative but extremely reliable - she always came on time for the full duration, and always processed the Rover cards. The second area where Kamryn was extraordinary was the socialization with Will - not simply from a communication aspect, but from the actual real and impactful interactions she had with Will. We have had a number of pet sitters through the years for Will, and frankly Kamryn did the best job ever at getting to know Will and getting him past his shyness. Usually, Will hides from people he doesn't know, and they don't ever get to know how much of a sweetheart he really is. With Kamryn, Will's tail was straight up in greeting when she would arrive, he led her around the house, and he let her pet him and scratch him all over - all unprecedented. In short, Will absolutely adored Kamryn. That has never happened with a "stranger" in all of his twelve years. In just a few short days, Will decided Kamryn was definitely not a stranger and it's clear that he wants to see her again! To have that type of skill with animals is truly talented and magical, and Kamryn has it in spades. We cannot recommend her enough!”

I have a rabbit and 2 dogs, volunteered walking dogs at an animal shelter, and worked at a pet resort that took care of dogs and cats. I myself have three dogs so understand making them work. I usually try to play fetch at least one of the times we go out, and the walks always last from 30-60 minutes.

I used to work at Wag N Wash and was a volunteer dog walker at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. I have grown up around dogs and cats and currently work at a horse barn.
