“Kamryn was outstanding and provided excellent care for Will, our cat. To best illustrate how amazing Kamryn was with Will, I will explain a couple things about Will. First, Will is very shy but also needy. Therefore, though it doesn't always appear so to an outside observer, he truly thrives on human interaction despite his shyness. He can actually get physically ill during our absences due to the change in - or sometimes lack of - human contact and socialization. Secondly, he is getting older, becoming somewhat of a senior kitty, and as such needs just a little extra care and attention from that perspective. Thus, one of the things we value most in a pet sitter is communication, and Kamryn truly excelled in this area. Given the two "Will traits" listed above, we particularly value communication, so (a) we can receive the per-visit updates (Rover cards) to get a concrete sense of his (hopeful) human interaction since he needs it so much, and (b) we can feel at ease that he is doing okay health-wise in our absence given that he is becoming a senior kitty. Kamryn provided amazing updates during each of her visits, so her communication was truly second to none and gave us peace of mind that he was getting both socialization and top-notch care. She always did the Rover cards, and was super quick in the back-and-forth messaging within Rover. Kamryn was not just communicative but extremely reliable - she always came on time for the full duration, and always processed the Rover cards. The second area where Kamryn was extraordinary was the socialization with Will - not simply from a communication aspect, but from the actual real and impactful interactions she had with Will. We have had a number of pet sitters through the years for Will, and frankly Kamryn did the best job ever at getting to know Will and getting him past his shyness. Usually, Will hides from people he doesn't know, and they don't ever get to know how much of a sweetheart he really is. With Kamryn, Will's tail was straight up in greeting when she would arrive, he led her around the house, and he let her pet him and scratch him all over - all unprecedented. In short, Will absolutely adored Kamryn. That has never happened with a "stranger" in all of his twelve years. In just a few short days, Will decided Kamryn was definitely not a stranger and it's clear that he wants to see her again! To have that type of skill with animals is truly talented and magical, and Kamryn has it in spades. We cannot recommend her enough!”

She came to our home to check on our three, sent pictures and made sure all were OK while we were out of town. Such a relief to have someone in the area that you can count on for care and check-ins.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Always loved all animals but dogs really are my favorite. I’ve had them as pets and cared for them for others for decades. When I used to deliver pizzas people always commented how their dogs didn’t usually like men or people or any number of other reasons but they were surprised how much their dog seemed to like me. Eventually I may own a doggy day care, and would love to actually start a rescue for animals. I’m currently pretty flexible. I wax recently disabled and was unemployed while waiting for surgery. Now no longer disabled but have plenty of flexibility to cover many needs your furry family member may have. I recently lost a lot of weight by just walking so I’d love to continue to get my steps in with your dogs. Dogs would be welcome to come to my house where I do have two elderly big boys of my own. About: I have been watching and fostering dogs and cats my whole life! Super new to River, I’m excited to use this platform and reach more folks! Growing up in a home that doubled as an animal sanctuary and rescue, I've been surrounded by animals of all kinds (especially dogs) my entire life. My duties included feeding, watering, bathing, grooming, and spending quality time with each puppy, nurturing them back to health and ensuring they felt loved and cared for. I also have experience in first aid, training, and walking, ensuring your puppy’s well-being on all fronts. Animals are my biggest passion in the world, a love that I've passed on to my two children, aged 10 and 14, who share in my enthusiasm and dedication. I understand that pupps may experience some homesickness, but I am well-trained in calming their anxiety and making them feel at ease. With a lifetime of experience and a deep-rooted love for all creatures, I promise to be your puppy’s favorite sitter, and second best friend!! We will have a fantastic time and I will always provide the same loving care and attention that they would receive from you! I am available almost always for sitting. Whether it’s just a few hours during the day, or long term boarding. I own my own business and do most of my work remotely! I have a very flexible schedule and I work around my pet sitting schedule. My home is a safe and welcoming haven for both dogs and cats. With a securely fenced yard, pets have plenty of space to play and explore safely. Although I don't own any animals myself, this allows me to dedicate all my attention to your pets, ensuring they receive the best care possible. There's ample room for crates if needed, providing a comfortable and secure environment for every pet. Additionally, my two children, aged 10 and 14, are enthusiastic helpers who share my passion for animals, ensuring that your fur baby( babies) get all the love and attention they need!
About: I have experience with all types of dogs I grew up with a pitbull and Rottweiler. After those dog my family adopted 2 more German Shepard mixes from the shelter so I have been around high energy animals and untrained animals. I also volunteered at the humane society for 4 years during high school. My duties at that time were cleaning kennels, walking dogs, and overall spending time with animals. I am currently a student who is taking all online classes so my schedule is very flexible and fitting to you and your fur babies needs I respect others property and treat it just as well if not better than my own. Your pets safety and happiness is my number one priority.
