“Walt kept our boy, Teddi, for four days. Teddi is a 3 yo intact English Shepherd who has never spent a night away from us. Teddi is a very well behaved and friendly boy but we were a bit anxious how this would go. Walt kept us well informed on how Teddi was doing. Walt gave Teddi great care and a lot of attention. When we returned to pick up Teddi, it was obvious that he and Teddy had bonded very well. We are very pleased with the care that Walt provided and will certainly use him again.”

This helps if I care for an animal that has health problems. Work Monday - Friday 8-5 away from home. Check on my dog at lunch and can let yours out to walk as well if they are crate trained and can stay in the crate while I am not home. Maeve is a spoiled dog. She is turned three in Oct. About: I have had dogs all my life. Dogs are my favorite thing and I spend a lot of time caring for my friends and families animals. I'd love to do the same for you. I am a dog groomer. Certified in cpr and first aid. I also have a cat safety certification. I have fostered many I am a dog groomer for the local pet shop. I have a pet cpr and first aid certification. I work 8:30-5 pm. Monday - Saturday. My boyfriend does get off at 4:30 every day. I am committed to making sure your pet has a great time while they are with me. I exercise my animals in the morning and when I get home from work. Your dogs will have the same schedule. They will enjoy lots of treats and snuggles while in my care. I work full time Monday-Saturday 9am - 5pm. I have a fully fenced yard for morning potty and play time. In the evening, we have play time before dinner when I get home at about 6pm. Your dog will need to be able to be left alone or crated for up to 9 hrs. When your dog is at my home and under my supervision safety is my first priority. I prefer if you bring a kennel so I am able to crate them if needed. My time before and after work will be spent with your animal making sure they get enough exercise and fun to keep them happy.

About: I have either owned or been around dogs/cats since 8 yrs old, mostly dogs. I have trained my own animals simple commands (“sit, stay, paw, speak”) and I subscribe to a service that keeps me learning new tricks and tips for dogs and cats. I frequently take care of others’ animals while they are away. A friend recommended this to me, since I’ve done it for years. I also thoroughly enjoy the company of animals. I am an RN that picks up shifts, per diem. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of all sorts of breeds since I was teen. My friends and family have relied on me to feed, take on walks, and their fury friends while they’re away. I have experience taking care of senior dogs as well as dogs with several different medical needs. I’ve dog sat one dog for a weekend and I’ve also dog sat 6 dogs for a week. Owning several dogs is nothing new to me. Currently working a full-time job from 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. If you live in the Christiansburg/Blacksburg area I am able to do drop by visits during my lunch break. Saturday and Sunday I am pretty available. I’ll make sure your fury friend gets let out at appropriate times and have plenty of time to play around if it’s just a drop by visit. Have a dog with a medical condition? No problem I have experience with dogs who have epilepsy and who are allergic to everything under the sun. Senior dogs I understand the importance in being extra patient and gentle with them.
