We've recently renovated our attached brick garage into a dedicated boarding space designed to provide a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment for your pets. Unlike many boarding facilities, we only board one family's pets at a time. Whether you have one dog, multiple dogs, dogs and cats together or just cats, your family will be our only boarding guests during their stay! This allows us to provide more individualized care while reducing stress and eliminating interactions with unfamiliar animals. Each guest has access to a spacious 8' x 6' x 4' kennel, but they're not required to stay inside it. The kennel can remain open, giving them the option to relax in their own secure space or enjoy the larger boarding area. Comfortable bedding, including a traditional dog bed and raised cooling cot, is provided! Someone is almost always home, and we work remotely, allowing for frequent interaction, supervision, and additional attention for pets who need it. Security cameras are also in place throughout the boarding area and outside our home for added safety and peace of mind! We provide treats, enrichment, and natural chews (with owner approval) and do our best to follow your pet's normal routine. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently have four large dogs – three of my own and one foster. I also volunteer with local animal rescues and spend many Fridays at the Dog Pound, giving all the animals love, walks, vaccinations, and sometimes even a trip to my home (I’m always joking that I’m one dog away from a divorce – but he knew what he was getting into!) About: I had a dog that had a liver shunt and I kept him going with medication and good loving care. He lived to be 10 years old which my vet normally they don’t live past 5 years old. I am a retired banker and it’s always been my dream to be a pet sitter. I have some back issues so I would only be able to take care of small pets up to 20 pounds. Also I would prefer that the owner of the animal have a fenced in yard as I am not able to walk long distances. About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years. When I was in college I became the go to pet sitter to watch my friends and family pets for years. Because I am a bit of a stronger person, my friends know that I can handle some of their bigger dogs tugging on the leash. Also, with my beard, dogs think I am one of them. I am currently a remote worker and I can take as much time as I need to take care, play, walk, feed or whatever the client needs. Because I am a big lug myself, I allow pets to have fun and be happy loving animals. I give off alpha dog energy and dogs will understand the deep serious tone in my voice, but will also respect me after I give them lots of love and treats.
About: I’ve mostly worked as an RN but I’m currently a stay at home momma! I've always had a passion in helping others, but my second passion in life is caring for animals! What better side gig than to help care for some lovely pets. I do have experience through my nephew with service dogs. I attended his two-week training to learn how to handle the dog and commands. We've recently renovated our attached brick garage into a dedicated boarding space designed to provide a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment for your pets. Unlike many boarding facilities, we only board one family's pets at a time. Whether you have one dog, multiple dogs, dogs and cats together or just cats, your family will be our only boarding guests during their stay! This allows us to provide more individualized care while reducing stress and eliminating interactions with unfamiliar animals. Each guest has access to a spacious 8' x 6' x 4' kennel, but they're not required to stay inside it. The kennel can remain open, giving them the option to relax in their own secure space or enjoy the larger boarding area. Comfortable bedding, including a traditional dog bed and raised cooling cot, is provided! Someone is almost always home, and we work remotely, allowing for frequent interaction, supervision, and additional attention for pets who need it. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently have four large dogs – three of my own and one foster. I also volunteer with local animal rescues and spend many Fridays at the Dog Pound, giving all the animals love, walks, vaccinations, and sometimes even a trip to my home (I’m always joking that I’m one dog away from a divorce – but he knew what he was getting into!) Joining the Rover community lets me share my passion for caring with other pet owners. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members, and I’m here to provide them with the love and attention they deserve. One roams freely during the day with a doggy door to the outside fenced in yard. One is kenneled during the day. Both are kenneled at night. One is outside full time (unless it’s freezing cold and I have to force him inside). I also have one large kennel outside where my foster dog stays most of the time. All dogs are up to date on vaccines and receive monthly flea tick and heart guard meds. As for your home, I’m up for a meet and greet depending on what you need!

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs all my life for friends and family. My fur babies are back home with my parents. After college, I moved from LA to WV. This app allows me to get my dose of puppy/kitty loving!! Working full time with breaks to go home as needed. Your babies will be well looked after regardless of the type of care chosen (walks, overnight stays, etc.) I live in a safe neighborhood with several neighborhood pets. While my backyard is not fenced in, I will make sure your babies are on a leash and watched closely!
