About: I’ve taken care of my old chihuahua and my friends puppies and im comfortable taking care of every age in between! If your dog has any special needs, just let me know. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! My schedule varies, but I am usually available on weekends too! I have a fenced in yard, and I don’t have any of my own pets or children. Sometimes there are bunnies that run through the backyard, but they’re usually in and out.

About: I have dog sat on and off for many years (maybe 10) mostly for friends and family, and occasionally cared for cats, but am new to Rover. I have grown up with dogs and have a deep love of them. I am comfortable with any breed, temperament and behavior permitting. I am also comfortable administering most forms of medication. I love getting dogs outside onto trails and exploring creeks (my dogs favorite things to do). I’m a graduate student who has lots of flexibility and works from home most of the time, providing flexibility and near constant supervision. Under most circumstances, I never have to be away for more than 3 hours. I watch over other peoples dogs like I care for my own. I provide frequent photo and text updates for peace of mind. Tell your dog I said hi. I am a graduate student, meaning I take few classes and primarily work from home. I am generally very flexible and available most times everyday. At the very most, I may be away from home for 3 hours at a time. Ultimately, I am more open and flexible than not. I have an unfenced yard (working on fencing it), but take the highest priority of ensuring dogs are safely secured in their harness or collar when going outside. Life inside is pretty normal, the occasional playtime, sleeping around, relaxing. Im no professional dog trainer, but would say I have a very self taught, well behaved dog, and as such enjoy trying of some training with dogs I watch. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

Burke Lake is a nice place but can get overcrowded so we tend to steer toward Lake Royal, it’s a really a serene place with plenty of wildlife and good smells! I am flexible with scheduling and have no problem with last minute requests. Your dogs will have full access to my home on couches and beds if you choose. They will live as my Casey does… perhaps a bit spoiled. ;-). My aim is to have a dog friend or two over for a safe place where your pup can come and not be caged while you are gone. Casey needs the exercise but more than anything she wants friends! I am not looking to run a dog hotel, just a family environment with a loving atmosphere. About: I have been around animals and taking care of them since I was a child. As a child my parents had cats that I would have to watch. As I got older both parents got dogs and I have had over 10 years experience with them. Currently I am a dog owner of 4 and a half years and couldn’t imagine life without him. I am currently enrolled in school online that does not have a set time to be in classes. This will allow me to attend to your pets at any moment they need it. I have a yard but not fence. This allows easy access to restroom breaks. I am happy to crate your dog if needed but always love to be able to have them roam. My house has plenty of space for playtime and my dog loves running around it especially with other dogs.

About: I grew up in a home with five large breed dogs and enjoy the company of any dog breed, from large to small. My mother worked at a vet so she has passed her knowledge onto me, taking care of animals comes easy for me as I have cared for my own as well as others fur babies. I just graduated college and have a day job but would be happy to provide services when off, I have 2 cats of my own and have grown up around both dogs and cats At my apartment complex we have a grassy area so your furry friend could get outside time if needed. I do not have a crate but if provided one could accommodate that when outside the home. I also have a car, so going to a park for longer walks could be accomplished if the pet does well in vehicles.

About: I have dog sat on and off for many years (maybe 10) mostly for friends and family, and occasionally cared for cats, but am new to Rover. I have grown up with dogs and have a deep love of them. I am comfortable with any breed, temperament and behavior permitting. I am also comfortable administering most forms of medication. I love getting dogs outside onto trails and exploring creeks (my dogs favorite things to do). I’m a graduate student who has lots of flexibility and works from home most of the time, providing flexibility and near constant supervision. Under most circumstances, I never have to be away for more than 3 hours. I watch over other peoples dogs like I care for my own. I provide frequent photo and text updates for peace of mind. Tell your dog I said hi. I am a graduate student, meaning I take few classes and primarily work from home. I am generally very flexible and available most times everyday. At the very most, I may be away from home for 3 hours at a time. Ultimately, I am more open and flexible than not. I have an unfenced yard (working on fencing it), but take the highest priority of ensuring dogs are safely secured in their harness or collar when going outside. Life inside is pretty normal, the occasional playtime, sleeping around, relaxing. Im no professional dog trainer, but would say I have a very self taught, well behaved dog, and as such enjoy trying of some training with dogs I watch. My dog, Maple, a two year old golden retriever is very welcoming and friendly to new dogs and loves to play with them.

I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

During our 2 dogs stay she kept us updated through the day with how they were doing along with plenty of pictures to put us at ease that they were very well taken care of. She truly treated them as her own. Our young lab and pit mix pup are full of energy and can be a handful and that didn’t bother her.
