“Laura was an excellent care provider of our dog, Happy! Happy got sick the day after we left town… He developed pancreatitis…The vet thought from the cicadas he had eaten the days before. Laura checked with us and took him to the ER (vet) because she saw blood in his diarrhea. They kept him for two days for IVs, meds, etc. when he started eating, she was able to take him home and took excellent care of him as though he was her own dog. She cooked chicken, and rice to help him start eating again. Her dog, ‘BOO’ watched over Happy also. She kept us informed with videos and texts every day. When we got back home, Happy was clearly feeling well at Laura‘s home and happy being with BOO. Laura keeps a sharp eye on the dogs. We definitely recommend her!!!”

I have also over 350 hours of shelter volunteer experience in walking dogs, giving medications, and obedience training. My yard is not fenced, so I always take guests on guided walks and trips to the local park for secure, energetic exercise. My pet is a miniature poodle who loves to play and cuddle. For bedtime, guests can sleep comfortably right in my bedroom or use a dedicated spare room depending on their routine.
