About: My family and I started using Rover in 2018 when our 17-year-old dog, Faith, needed to be watched during the day. Rover helped make our last months with her a little easier and less stressful until she passed away in early 2019. I began to work with Rover myself in 2020 while I teleworked for two years because of the pandemic. Since then, my family and I have welcomed dozens of dogs into our home. Over a year ago, we relocated to Ranson, West Virginia from Fairfax, Virginia and two of our clients often still travel to our new home for us to board their dogs. I am still working full-time but my parents, Carla and Rob, have been providing great service during the day. We only look after one dog at a time, and someone is always with them so you can rest assured that your dog will get the love, care, and undivided attention that he or she deserves. We love all kinds of dogs and will look after yours like it was our own! In fact, this past April my family and I adopted Milo from a family who used to board him with us. They could no longer give him the attention he needed so they reached out to us to make him a part of our family. I work Tuesday-Saturday and am away from home from 5:30am-6:00pm. My mom works from home remotely and my dad retired and provide excellent care and attention during the day. I ensure that your dog gets plenty of love and attention. They have frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. I have plenty of dog treats and toys to keep them entertained and occupied.

I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. About: I am very active and an outdoors person. My yard is fenced so I can play outside with the babies unleashed. I go for runs and would take the dogs with for exercise. I have had dogs all of my life and have taken care of them. I work 5 minutes from my home so the dogs will never be alone all day. My availability is pretty much open. I will cater to the dogs every need and show it nothing but love. My house is very pet friendly so animals are allowed on the furniture. I enjoy dogs of all sizes and ages. I have a very friendly puppy who turns one years old in May. Your dog will always feel at home with me
About: I’ve had dogs of my own my whole life. I’ve been taking care of others’ dogs for many years. I have experience with various breeds and sizes. Willing to do occasional jobs or recurring ones. I had to put set prices into my profile, but willing to discuss. I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available any weekday and, with notice, can be available on weekends as well. I do not provide care in my home, but would love to come to your home where your dogs are most comfortable. I will provide any care needed- letting out in a fenced yard, taking for walks, feeding, administering meds, etc.

“Leaving our dog with Kristen was the best boarding experience she'd ever had! We don't often take a vacation without our dog, but the handful of times we had in the past, she was traumatized when I picked her up. She isn't crate trained and hates the little kennels at the vet and other commercial boarding facilities. Kristen's farm was like a vacation for her while we were on vacation! She loved the big open yards, having the run of the house, and being around the other dogs. Kristen is a warm, caring, responsible animal lover. It was like our old girl went to stay with a favorite aunt for a week! When I picked her up, she was dirty and tired and happy. ? Such a wonderful experience! We will always board with Kristen, as long as she can take us”

“Our babies absolutely love Lori! Max and Sas were taken care of in a loving environment and were treated so well?. We were a bit apprehensive to leave our fur babies with anyone but we were in a bit of a bind ( holidays). We had never used Rover and had just moved to Va from Nevada. We talked to Lori and asked a ton of questions. Like who would be around them, how often they would be let out to go potty, etc… after a few text and a few phone calls we felt she would be a perfect fit for our pups! We were so happy we made the decision to go with her! Our boys absolutely love her and love staying over night! After the first stay we went back for a quick visit just to say hello…They were both in a hurry to get out of the car (tails wagging) this made us so very happy to see they were happy to see her. We will definitely use her every time for boarding or anything she has to offer like dog sitting all of our babies.
