“Melanie and Eric were so loving and caring with our anxious and reactive boy Walter! It was Walter’s first time away and I knew he was in good hands. They sent updates and were very responsive to messages. Couldn’t be happier!”

About: Hi! I’ve spent years sitting and walking dogs for friends and family, so I definitely know every dog has their own personality and am happy to cater to them and take whatever time is needed to make them the most comfortable! Growing up there were always 3+ dogs in the house including puppies, seniors, and dogs with disabilities, so I’m equipped to handle all stages of life and different needs! I am patient, understanding, experienced, and ready to give your dog the most loving care! As a student with a part-time job my schedule is pretty flexible! For dogs, that means consistent walks, potty break, and feedings that match their normal schedule. For cats, regular feeding times, litter maintenance, and plenty of attention if they prefer it! Since my shifts change week to week, I will always confirm availability ahead of time and communicate about timing! Your pets safety is my top priority, in your home or mine! I live in an apartment, so I’m mindful about creating a secure, calm place, free of hazardous foods or items. I treat every pet in my care with the same level of attention I’d want for my own, so you can feel confident your dog or cat is in a safe and comfortable environment.
“Lauren & Taylor did a wonderful job caring for my dog. They sent pictures and updates each day, took her for walks and she was a happy pup when we went to pick her up!!! Really appreciated them!!”

“Jessica is so wonderful with our goldendoodle puppy! He loves to see her and had a great stay with her for two nights. Thank you, Jessica, for taking such good care of our sweet boy!”

“Brandi was very accommodating and helpful. She provided frequent updates on the animals with pictures, how they are adjusting, and the fun times my pup had with her during the stay. She also was very flexible but precise on what she needed to help make the animals stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Planning to book again on my next trip!”

“She was able to watch my dog on very short notice and willing to give meds not noted on my profile as they were only temporary. She sent lots of photos, was very responsive, and it looked like she treated my dog like her own. 10/10 would have her watch my pup again - thanks, Sophia!”

“This was our first time boarding with Amber and we couldn't have been happier. She was extremely accommodating with our timeline and provided pictures & feedback throughout our girls visit... this put our minds at ease allowing us to focus on a family matter. Our girl came home happy & tired!!!”

“Jennifer was amazing! Our pup had a great weekend in Jennifer’s home and playing in her fenced-in yard. Jennifer even sent us photos throughout the day of what our pup was up to. Will definitely be back!”

“Sarah has pet sat my dog twice now while we were away, and we will book with her again next time we need a sitter. She is very nice and has taken good care of Letty. Letty also really enjoys the fenced in yard to run around in.”

About: "My home used to be filled with cats and a whole pack of little dogs. Over the years things have changed, and right now my sole companion is a wonderful senior tabby cat named Batman." I'm currently not working, I just stay home, take care of the house and my senior tabby, Batman. I have nothing except time to help care for your fur babies. I live at the end of the road in a very quiet neighborhood with a big yard. Plenty of space inside and outside of the home.

About: As a veterinary assistant for over 3 years and a pre-vet student, I’ve been passionate about animals since I was very little and began pet sitting over 10 years ago. I have experience with many different animals in clinical settings, home, farm and zoo settings. Most of my work experience has been in emergency medicine. I have also enjoyed rescuing and fostering dogs, cats, and exotics. One of my college courses was on dog training, and I have trained my own dogs, birds, and rodents. I’ve also studied exotic/zoo medicine and conservation abroad in South Africa for 4 weeks! I work 6am-5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and will only have one class M/W/F at 11am once school starts August 19th. I may work some shifts on those days after class. I spend as much time as I can with the pets I care for and make sure to give them love, attention, and exercise just like I would my own animals. They will get lots of belly rubs and cuddles! Depending on how they tolerate it, I can do nail trims and baths if requested. I have baby nail trimmers I can use for the little guys (kittens, birds, other small exotics).
About: I've spent my whole life surrounded by animals—caring for everything from playful puppies and cuddly cats to bunnies, ferrets, and more. I’ve fostered kittens, helped them grow strong and social, and supported pets through every stage of life. What started as helping family, friends, and neighbors has grown into a true calling. I have experience with pets of all ages, medical needs, and those requiring special attention—like blind or deaf animals who need extra patience and care. Whether it’s daily check-ins or last-minute sitting, I treat every pet like family—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too. I work from home and I make my own schedule. So, tons of time for walks, play-time, bathing, and cuddles. Missing your fur baby? No worries! As a fur mom, I know how reassuring it can be to get updates, with pictures and videos, while being away from your babies. I have 2 pups and tons of toys that will keep your pups entertained, and space they can retreat to if they feel overstimulated. I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. My fur babies have a calm and safe environment, and we’d love to share that with your fur baby.
“Eric was an amazing caretaker for our dog over the weekend. He was extremely professional in his communication: responses were prompt, and his pictures of our happy dog were super reassuring. Our pup got walks, playtime, and plenty of pats. I will definitely be using Eric again next time I need a sitter. Highly recommend!!”

About: I've helped care for animals since my childhood. Recently, I cared for my senior dog, Ziggy, until his passing. Currently, I volunteer with Mountaineers 4 Mutts by cleaning cat kennels, socializing cats, and transporting animals. I currently work part-time and I enjoy caring for animals of my friends and family. I help out when I can and make sure their pets receive the best care. With my past pet Ziggy, I would always make sure he had water and food. I'd make sure he was comfortable and feeling alright. I made sure to take him out immediately when he let me know he had to go. Some days we went for walks and car rides, while other days we'd cuddle on the couch.

About: I have taken care of cats since I was a teenager, and have my own cats since 2010. I love to play with them, cuddle with them, and give them a hairbrush every week. I helped my big boy cat lose 3 lbs in two years, he is much healthier now.

“Zanna loved her time with Mckenzie. I highly recommend her. Great response time and communication. I especially appreciate her availability and flexibility when I was in a pinch with having to schedule pet care last minute!”

“Arabella was great! She was conveniently close to where I lived and was amazing with my pup Leo. She also was helpful and willing to clean his crate out when he had accidents. I know that’s expected/part of the job but still can not be fun obviously.”

I've also cared for a cat with an FELV, so I understand the extra patience, attention, and gentle care needed. Whether your cat needs playtime, or a quiet companion, I'll treat them with the same love and attention I give my own.

About: My big sister was a Dalmatian my mom had before I was even born. My first cat was at age 3. Since birth I have been around and cared for many different types of animals. They range from the dogs and cats in my family, my grandparents horses, to the various small, furry, AND scaly critters I've kept over the years. Currently have a dog, cats, fish/shrimp, a frog, a snake, and geckos! Let my love and encyclopedia of animal knowledge be used to your advantage!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years. I love hanging out with animals and spoiling them like I do with my own pets. I am comfortable taking care of multiple pets and fur babies of all sizes. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for full time or part time work. I am currently a stay at home mom, so my availability is fairly free, but it varies from week to week. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I let my pets out multiple times a day and take them on walks. I love to take my pets out on hikes as well.

“Went to Fairmont for work and didn't want to leave my pup at daycare in DC for so long. Tracey was AMAZING!!! I may be the biggest worrier on the planet, but she put my mind at ease within an hour. Got so many pictures and videos of all the pups playing and eventually being worn out. Even learned that mine likes cats (I had a suspicion). I wish Tracey and I lived closer so we could visit more often. She would definitely be my go-to! If she's available next time we're near Morgantown/Fairmont, we'll be back. Thanks Tracey!!!”

I have worked on farms with livestock and assisted my sister with her dog-grooming clients. I have cared for a number of senior dogs and cats and have administered various medications. I am eager to work with pets of any age, though, and I have experience caring for fish, rodents, cats, dogs, horses, cows, chickens, and other birds. I am currently self-employed and working part-time. My schedule is very much open and flexible, so I am able ensure your pet takes first priority! I am quite aware every animal requires different levels of care and attention. I provide serious attention to detail when it comes to all of your pets' various needs and habits. I welcome thorough instructions based on owner preferences and will see to it that your fur-babies are cared for respectively.

“Melanie and Eric were so loving and caring with our anxious and reactive boy Walter! It was Walter’s first time away and I knew he was in good hands. They sent updates and were very responsive to messages. Couldn’t be happier!”

“Lauren & Taylor did a wonderful job caring for my dog. They sent pictures and updates each day, took her for walks and she was a happy pup when we went to pick her up!!! Really appreciated them!!”

“We were very happy with how comfortable our doggies felt at drop off. At pick up our fur babies were very happy and looked like they had a wonderful time. We were pleased with Mekayla’s services. Thank you.”

“Tessa was a savior taking our pups in on short notice so we could handle an emergency. Would highly recommend Tessa & would use her in the future. Thanks so much!”

“Tiffany was amazing taking care of my Tinkerbell. She was super responsive and provided frequent, daily updates. I never went without photos of Tinkerbell the whole week she stayed with Tiffany, which I appreciated very much. Tinkerbell clearly became comfortable very quickly in the new environment. I would highly recommend Tiffany with her caring, compassionate demeanor.”

About: I’ve grown up arounds dogs and have owned atleast one dog for my whole life. I’ve had experience from chihuahuas to german shepherds. Pet care has become a daily thing with my fur babies. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, and I keep owners updated with photos and messages while they’re away.
