Growing up there were always 3+ dogs in the house including puppies, seniors, and dogs with disabilities, so I’m equipped to handle all stages of life and different needs! I am patient, understanding, experienced, and ready to give your dog the most loving care! As a student with a part-time job my schedule is pretty flexible! For dogs, that means consistent walks, potty break, and feedings that match their normal schedule. For cats, regular feeding times, litter maintenance, and plenty of attention if they prefer it! Since my shifts change week to week, I will always confirm availability ahead of time and communicate about timing! Your pets safety is my top priority, in your home or mine! About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

During our 2 dogs stay she kept us updated through the day with how they were doing along with plenty of pictures to put us at ease that they were very well taken care of. She truly treated them as her own. Our young lab and pit mix pup are full of energy and can be a handful and that didn’t bother her. I have trained 2 service dogs and a therapy dog as well as scent work foundations. About: My husband and I are both full time DNP students allowing us to be at home 6 days a week. We have cared for our 3 year old corgi together, but have both had family pets previously. We are skilled in medications administration and emergency care for your fur baby! This is a child free, cat free and smoke free home. Daisy, our corgi, loves to play and make new friends. We are currently full time DNP students that allows us to be at home full time Sunday through Thursday. We are awake from the hours of 6am until 10pm. Potty breaks are able to have every 2-4 hours. Feeding schedules are based on your fur baby’s needs, however our dog eats twice a day once at 6am and again at 6pm. In our neighborhood we have a walking path that we frequently walk our dog with a leash on. Our dog loves to play with other dogs. Our home is tidy and nothing is left on the floors or within reach that could harm an animal. Our house is not located near any high traffic roads. Our back yard is positioned against an open field. Unless your dog is highly trained with good recall skills, I will not let them run free in the backyard for fear of them running away. Dogs are family in our home!

About: I've spent my whole life surrounded by animals—caring for everything from playful puppies and cuddly cats to bunnies, ferrets, and more. I’ve fostered kittens, helped them grow strong and social, and supported pets through every stage of life. What started as helping family, friends, and neighbors has grown into a true calling. I have experience with pets of all ages, medical needs, and those requiring special attention—like blind or deaf animals who need extra patience and care. Whether it’s daily check-ins or last-minute sitting, I treat every pet like family—because that’s how I’d want mine treated too. I work from home and I make my own schedule. So, tons of time for walks, play-time, bathing, and cuddles. Missing your fur baby? No worries! As a fur mom, I know how reassuring it can be to get updates, with pictures and videos, while being away from your babies. I have 2 pups and tons of toys that will keep your pups entertained, and space they can retreat to if they feel overstimulated. I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. My fur babies have a calm and safe environment, and we’d love to share that with your fur baby.
About: Just starting my experience taking care of animals. I love animals and have a cat of my own. I am very responsible and patient and ready for any challenge. It will be just me attending to the pets. I work in retail and I am a student now but have time in between my days to care for animals. I live with a cat and take her to the vet frequently to get her shots and make sure everything is okay, she’s inside and outside and I make sure to feed her and play with her everyday. About: Hi! I’m a 30-year-old nurse and proud beagle mom to my sweet 5-year-old girl. As someone who works long shifts in healthcare, I truly understand how important it is to have reliable, loving care for your pets when life gets busy. That’s why I’m offering drop-in visits for pets in the nearby area, helping give fellow pet parents peace of mind. My schedule can vary, so I kindly ask for 1–2 weeks’ notice to coordinate visits around my work shifts. I’m also open to overnight house sitting depending on availability—we can chat to see what works best! On my days off, I love getting outside and would be happy to take your pup for a walk on a nearby trail—possibly even alongside my own friendly beagle, if you’re comfortable with that. She’s great with other dogs and would love the company! Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a relaxing walk, or some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help care for them like one of my own. my schedule changes weekly, so my availability is variable. I’m primarily available for drop-in visits close to home on my days off, and I kindly ask for 1 to 2 weeks’ advance notice whenever possible to help me plan ahead. I’m open to overnight stays after building trust and familiarity with clients, but those will depend on my work schedule. About: I regularly walk many dogs (M-F), and have done lots of overnight stays with different furry friends as well! Additionally, I have taken care of animals the families I’ve babysat for for over the last ten years. Last summer, I lived with a family who had a dog and spent a lot of time house sitting and dog sitting in addition to the babysitting I was doing. I fed the dog most days and took him outside to play. I am a runner so if your dogs would benefit from going on runs with me, I’m happy to take them as long as there’s a safe area nearby your home (I am comfortable bringing dogs in my car if needed). If your dog is not a runner, no worries! I’m happy to take them on walks or let them play in your yard. My work schedule is different week to week, but I am available for overnight pet/house sitting any time. I work out a lot and love running so I am happy to take dogs with me on walks or runs. I can’t host pets at my apartment complex, but it is my priority to take great care of not only your pets but also your home and living space. If your animal likes attention, I will make sure to give it to them, and if they are active I will take them out if there is a safe space to do so. I will keep them on the usual schedule that you keep for them to make sure they don’t get anxious or fall out of your typical routine. I will always leave the space cleaner than I found it to relieve any stress that could come with returning home.
About: I have been an avid animal-lover and caretaker since the age of 10. I spent my youth volunteering for animal shelters, fostering dogs, and taking my own pups to obedience and agility classes. I have worked on farms with livestock and assisted my sister with her dog-grooming clients. I have cared for a number of senior dogs and cats and have administered various medications. I am eager to work with pets of any age, though, and I have experience caring for fish, rodents, cats, dogs, horses, cows, chickens, and other birds. About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

She was very accommodating when it came to drop off and pick up times. During our 2 dogs stay she kept us updated through the day with how they were doing along with plenty of pictures to put us at ease that they were very well taken care of. She truly treated them as her own. Our young lab and pit mix pup are full of energy and can be a handful and that didn’t bother her. I’d feel completely safe leaving them with her again and if we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely be booking thru her!”
About: I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs, along with senior pets. I have owned and carried for multiple dog, cats, and exotic animals. I have trained 2 service dogs and a therapy dog as well as scent work foundations. Animals are my biggest passion, my goal is to help and love your animals as my own in order to help you achieve all goals you may have in mind. even if its as simple as a good walk. I spend my time taking care of my own dogs, walking, training and grooming. I still have time in the day to help others and this is my best idea to achieve that. I have 2 friendly dogs, Tyson who is around 8 he is extremely neutral and coda was is a bit older then a year old who has tones of energy for play. I have harness and long lines to make sure your dog has the ability to run and play safely even though I don't have a fenced in yard. My dogs will only interact with yours if you ask for it, as I know some dog just prefer to be on their own. I have toys of all sizes and types. All dog will be leashed before any door is opened to ensure no dog will be getting loose. I know how to administer medications if needed along with how to give the dog the Heimlich. Your pets safety is my number one priority.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years.
