My older cat is a diabetic with severe skin issues requiring multiple medications on an alternating schedule in addition to her twice a day insulin. She did a good job asking questions and making sure Kitten got the medications she needed on the correct schedule. She successfully gave both oral and injection medication and Kitten was in great shape when I got back (which is not always the case after a vacation due to her detailed care needs). There were some minor things that came up but those were mostly me being very particular about some specifics and in the end, were not that important and didn't affect the care of the cats. The house was clean and the cat food and litter box trash taken out, which I appreciated.”

I missed my Kitties when I was on vacation ,however, it felt good knowing Elizabeth was there for them. Elizabeth also was very helpful when my well water tank had sprung a leak and she alerted me. She was willing to secure the situation until I could get someone to come in and do they big clean up. I am so grateful for her help and compassionate personality!!”

About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

About: I work from home and can watch your fur-baby all day! I have 1 dog and 1 cat, both of whom are accustomed to sharing their home. My home is mostly open-concept, which means lots of space for indoor play when it's too hot, cold, or rainy to be outside. The yard is large and open. My husband and I both volunteered the the SPCA of Texas when we lived in Dallas, where we were trained as animal behaviorists focused on enrichment activities for dogs and helping rescues learn basic commands to get ready to live in a family setting. We're both passionate about balancing play with training, which means we try to spend some time each day training our dog (and yours!) with both verbal commands and hand signals. If there's any commands in particular you and your pup are working on, just let us know and we'll keep the training going while we take care of your pup! Adrienne works from home and is there all the time, so pet care is a persistent thing. On nice days, she works from the sunroom, and both our animals are usually found on the couches in there with her, happily basking in the sun. In the evenings and on weekends, the whole family is home and plays together, including the pets. We go outside for fun as often as the weather allows. We have a dog who will be more than happy to keep your pup company, and with Adrienne working from home full time, someone is always around to ensure a safe and fun environment where everyone is getting along. There's also plenty of space to separate pets in case a little independent time is needed.

I follow the regular routine when I am in the clients home. If they are crated, I crate them. About: I’ve had 3 dogs in my life: a Norwegian Elkhund/Keeshond mix she lived for almost 13 years, a border collie, and a German Shepherd that I trained myself … so I have plenty of experience with walking, grooming playtime and training. I can also play ball or other games in the yard with the dog. Playing games helps with mental and physical health of the dog.
