About: Hi there, I’m Sarah! Thank you for stopping by my profile! I’m a proud U.S. Navy veteran who separated from the military in 2017. Growing up in a military family, I had the opportunity to live in 25 different states and 6 countries, which gave me a deep appreciation for people, cultures, and the incredible diversity of animals around the world. Those experiences helped shape my adaptable, compassionate personality and my love for caring for both people and animals. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve cared for everything from dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, chickens, and goats to helping family members care for horses, cows, and other farm animals. Whether your pet has paws, feathers, or scales, I’m comfortable providing patient, attentive care tailored to their individual personality and needs. I currently have an older service dog named Basil and a senior cat named Dhara, so I understand firsthand how important it is to provide gentle care, consistency, and a calm environment—especially for older pets. If your pet stays with me, they’ll be welcomed into a peaceful home where they’ll receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision. One of the experiences I’m most proud of was spending two years training my service dog, Basil, through the ARF Pets for Vets program in Walnut Creek, California. That experience taught me a tremendous amount about canine behavior, positive reinforcement, communication, and building trust. It also strengthened my belief that every animal communicates in their own unique way, and I take the time to understand their body language so they feel safe, respected, and comfortable. Outside of pet care, I’m a freelance product designer and entrepreneur who enjoys creating new products, designing 3D models, and bringing ideas to life. I also love cooking, baking, traveling, exploring new places, and discovering local restaurants—I’m even an Elite Yelp reviewer, so you could say I enjoy finding the best hidden gems wherever I go! When caring for your pet, my goal is to make them feel like they’re part of the family. I know how difficult it can be to leave a beloved pet behind, so I strive to provide the same level of care, patience, and affection that I’d want for my own animals. What you can expect from me: • Personalized care based on your pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. • Experience caring for a wide variety of companion and farm animals. • Daily photo, video, and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing. • A meet-and-greet before booking to make sure we’re a great fit. • Basic training guidance and positive reinforcement tips when appropriate. • A clean, calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet’s health, comfort, and happiness always come first. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I truly appreciate that trust. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered or scaly!) family members and providing them with the same love and care I’d give my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday with every other Friday off. From 6 AM to 3 PM, but I can accommodate meet and greets throughout the week, including drop in visits on my lunch break. If I’m staying at a client’s home, I can easily plan my schedule around your pet’s needs, ensuring they receive consistent care and attention. I’m most available for extended services Friday through Sunday, so we can coordinate a schedule that works best to keep your furry, feathered, or scaly friend happy and comfortable. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every pet in my care. In my home or a client’s home, I ensure the space is pet-proofed and free of hazards. I follow each pet’s routine to make them feel at ease, respecting their space and preferences. For new pets, I take the time to build trust through positive interactions and gentle introductions. If I’m caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, safe space with designated areas for eating, sleeping, and play. I supervise all interactions, especially with other animals, to ensure everyone's safety. I also maintain cleanliness, making sure litter boxes are scooped daily (or more frequently depending on the pet), food and water bowls are clean, and any medication needs are carefully followed. When staying in a client’s home, I respect their environment by keeping their pet’s routine consistent, and I ensure they have a safe, familiar space. I communicate regularly with pet owners to update them on their pet’s well-being and to address any concerns. My goal is to provide the same level of care, attention, and comfort in your home as I would in mine.

“Savannah is so sweet and treated my puppy like her own. She even sent me a picture message with an update of how my puppy was doing. Would definitely recommend Savannah and request her again.”

“Mitzi was so well treated. She was walked and made to feel at home while staying there. I highly recommend Caitlin and Samuel. They are very friendly and I plan to keep them in mind for future needs.”

“Megan did a great job watching Millie! She sent pictures and a few updates while we were gone, which I really appreciated. Millie was happy and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Megan!”

“Nikki went above and beyond watching our dog this weekend! You can tell she genuinely cares for animals and was great at communicating and provided lots of updates and pictures along the way! We felt comfortable and safe out of town knowing our dog was in great care and having fun with Nikki and her dog, Nelson. We would definitely book with Nikki again in the future!”

“Did an amazing job taking care of my special needs Frenchie (blind). She kept me updated, sent pics and allowed my granddaughter to visit him while he was there. Definitely use again.”

About: I’m a dog person through and through! I’ve only ever owned dogs my whole life, and I’d never have it any other way. Training them, playing with them, taking care of them, it all brings me so much joy. To me, dogs are one of life’s greatest gifts, a true blessing from God. They love without conditions and make every day a little brighter. I wouldn’t trade a single wagging tail or muddy paw print for anything. I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I’m great with communication and always happy to keep you in the loop. Just give me a quick call or text, and I’d be more than glad to update you on how your dog is doing. Your pup will feel right at home with me! I have a fenced yard and a loving Australian Shepherd named Stryda, who’s sweet and playful with all dogs. Your dog will always have fresh water, plenty of playtime, and a comfy, safe space to relax. I’ll keep them active, well cared for, and showered with attention throughout the day. Whether it’s a good play session, a cozy nap, or just some cuddles, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own, and I’m always happy to keep you updated however you’d like.

“Very reliable! Katie took excellent care of our cats, bearded dragon, frogs, hermit crab and fish while we were on vacation. She sent pictures every day and communicated about how they were doing.”

“I'm so glad I found Annette! It was my first time leaving my kitty alone at home and I was nervous especially since the little guy had an ear infection but she went above and beyond to take care of him and also administer his ear drops. She is very down to earth & easy to talk to and I felt comfortable working with her. Finding someone you trust to take care of your fur kiddo is such a personal & delicate thing and she's very thoughtful- I would definitely go back to her next time!”

About: I've taken care of cats since I was a little girl, a long time ago. We had kittens, tom cats, and even a very large cat named Casey. I loved them all. My daughter's cat sleeps with me when I am there. My son's cats will lie on my computer. My family and clients' cats love to be brushed, pet, and given treats. Litter boxes are kept clean, and water dishes are cleaned daily. I would love to come sit with your cat. Most important is that they stay in their home environment without any disruption. No cat-itude. I'm looking forward to connecting.

“Milks took care of my two cats for a week. She sent photos and kept me current on their activities. When I came home, they were lonesome for me, but not bonkers. Which meant they had attention, were not ignored. They are accustomed to me WFH daily, so long absences do not sit well with them. Yes, they are spoiled.”

About: My Journey in Animal Care: Personal and Professional Insights My experience in animal care combines both personal passion and professional expertise. For more than 20 years, I've had the joy of owning pets with scales, feathers, and fur. On the professional front, I have been involved in pet grooming, boarding, and veterinary clinics. Currently, I serve as a large animal equine veterinary assistant. Living on a farm in the countryside, I don’t have any dogs or cats, which means your beloved pet will receive dedicated, personalized care. I have a very flexible open schedule to suit your needs of finding a pet boarder. I am available weekdays or weekends. We can communicate if there is any changes. Most of the pet parents I work with provide me with thorough instructions for caring for their pets. I encourage clients to arrange a meet-and-greet with me before their pet's stay to discuss all details and address any health concerns. Furthermore, I want the pets to feel completely at ease with both me and my home prior to their stay.

My one lab loves to snuggle and is always always either on my lap or right at my side! I will do anything for my babies and any dog in my care! The more the merrier!! My two labs are laid back and great with other dogs. They really don’t mind that they are around! Though I know they would love a playmate at times! Anyone can rely on me to check in on a pet, feed, take out and any other duties especially loving on them! I’m not one to just drop in and do the duty- I want to get all the snuggles and kisses and let them have some play time! Some friends and neighbors have been having me stay and take care of their pets or drop in care for 10+ years. There’s nothing I love more than caring for pets! They give me the happiness that my loved ones do because they are “my loved ones too!” Some people say I’m a dog whisper. I live and breathe for my 2 dogs I currently have. Ages 10 and 12! I enjoy seeing them run, play, tail wag and smile! I’m home with them daily and talk to them as if they can understand ;) they are my Velcro babies and I wouldn’t have it any other way!! Let me know if u would like to meet up and we can get things rolling and I can be a help with whatever it is that u need to make sure ur pets are well cared for, happy, loved and having fun. It’s like a mini vacation for the pets! :) I look forward to making ur pets stay, walk, boarding, or any help I can be! I am super Excited to give all my love for ur fur baby and then some! I would love to and enjoy sending pictures and updates on my own and also anything that would help u know that ur pet is having a fun time and well cared for! Can’t wait to chat and meet up and be ur dog’s new friend!! I will love them like my own! :) I’m available most of the day to play with, feed, take out, or just some extra snuggle time! Evenings also! Don’t hesitate to reach out even if it’s for one little helping! I take care of our 3 dogs we have now during the day! But I’m looking for extra snuggles and putting that smile on your pets face as much as mine!! I would love to play with, take out, feed and love on your pet for 5 minutes or 1 hour! Very happy to do so! I’d love for your pet to feel loved and safe in my home with my babies , my two black labs who love everyone!! They bring me soo much happiness and joy!! I’m home always to be with them and adore and enjoy them!! 🩷

About: Taking walks around my pond, lots of cuddles, and play will be enjoyed at my home. Open to working with your feeding schedule preferences for your pet. Weekends, I will be home more to play and cuddle. I work outside of home during the week, but in the evenings I will have lots of time to play and have fun. If you have a crate, I would love for you to bring it for the dog. This way, if I am sitting with multiple pets while I'm gone, they are safe. Also, I will always have a leash in my complex.

About: I have had pets all my life and always loved them, usually more than most people. My pets' needs come before mine and always will. Right now my availability is almost wide open. Let's talk about what you need and see if it works! Walking, feeding, potty breaks, potential boarding. I have a fenced in yard , almost half an acre. I have three dogs and one cat. They rule the house, and my schedule revolves around their schedule.
“Samantha was great. Easy to schedule a meet and greet as well as drop off and pick up time. Very very responsive when I wanted to check in on our pup or had questions. Max came home happy. Will definitely rebook and recommend. Thanks Samantha!”
“My dog Luna spent a week at Anna & George's home, which was her 1st time with a pet sitter. She did well, and I appreciated that Anna shared a couple photos during Luna's stay, which helped reassure me since it's a new relationship. Anna kept Luna's routine, including walks and some play time, and gave her lots of TLC.”

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was 8, it started with a cat and grew to dogs and snakes and more, working with animals is my dream job. I work factory Monday through Friday but Friday night into Sunday I am available for pet care. I have 2 cats and a dog at my own home, but I am more than happy to dog sit at others homes. I make sure my cats litter boxes are kept clean, I keep their food bowls filled, and I keep their water filled. I walk my dog a lot and I take her out every couple hours to use the bathroom.
“Amy and her daughters were absolutely awesome. I’m grateful that she was willing to take in Mike for a night on such short notice. They have a nice clean house with a spacious yard in a quiet neighborhood… I couldn’t ask for a more perfect place for him to stay. It was my first time boarding Mike, our very anxious Great Dane mix, so I was a little nervous at first. She was super understanding and accommodating for us and our pup had an awesome time. 10/10!! ❤️”
