About: Growing up, my mom was the Eau Claire County Humane Officer, FEMA Animal Emergency Management volunteer coordinator, and general manager of the Chippewa County Humane Association. About: Ever since I was little I've always loved dogs! Growing up there were always dogs around and it was so much fun. Fast forward-I am a stay at home mom but was previously a nanny and some of the families had 1 or 2 dogs that I loved playing with, taking on walks, and snuggling. I would stay for 1-2 weeks throughout the year at their house watching their dogs while they were on vacation. From playing fetch, back scratches to belly rubs, breakfast and dinner, and all of the in betweens you'll know your dog(s) is/are in great hands! About: Hi! Im Sydney and Ive owned pets basically my entire life. When I was younger I grew up with 4 cats and a black lab (which I owned since she was a puppy). I also owned guinea pigs for a few years. Currently, I own a border collie mix that we adopted from the Washington County humane society. Pet care is currently a big focus so I have a lot of flexibility! However my schedule currently doesn't work as well for long term repeat bookings. Longer house sits (7+) days might be a bit more difficult as well but I try my best to make it work! Safety is very important for me (knowing warning signs of issues like GDV, making sure hazardous items are put away, etc). Regular updates - such as pictures of walks and playtime activities - will be given frequently. I will work hard to maintain your pets typical routine by following any given instructions closely. I'm also someone who likes to do research about different breeds. Each breed is different so I like to be prepared on how each breed can act and what their needs might be.
