About: I have always had pets while growing up. Rabbits, dogs, cats, calves. My family lived on a farm in my younger years and I absolutely loved the animals we had and loved caring for them. I do drop in visits to care for some of my friend's animals and I also walk dogs,play with them and keep them company while their owner's are at work. My pet's have always been considered my kids and I take the utmost care for friend's,family and customer's pets--as if they were my own. Animals seem to warm up to me right away. I look forward to meeting your pets and making a great relationship with them. I am on Social Security Disability so I am unable to work. I am disabled due to neck surgeries/pain but caring for animal's does not not interfere with my pain. It's very therapeutic for me to be around animals. I am usually very flexible with my schedule, as to fit you in, if I have a 3 day (or more) notice. I am not offering pet sitting in my own home but will gladly do drop in visits at yours or walk your animal(s) from your home.

I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. Your dog will be treated like one of our own, getting lots of love and attention during the day and can sleep overnight in a doggy bed or crate whichever is preferred.

All the dogs we had we got as puppies so I handled the potty training, taught tricks and the main obedience training like sit and stay. I've watched family and friends dogs which also included days/nights at a time like when they were out of town working. I have watched and been with tiny dogs to giant dogs. I'm a stay at home mom at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pet pretty much at anytime day or night. I have a fenced yard so easy to let in and out as needed, big area take out or let out to play. My house is pretty open with area for them to roam or find good spot to just relax. I have never crated any of my animals but if needed or wanted obviously I could do that. If you have a special diet for your dog I would follow that for you also. My kids and I also love to go on walks and would love your dog to join. I do have three very young kids so your dog must get along with children. My kids love animals, they were very sad after losing our last dog so they'd be very excited to play with others. I am home daily with my kids, I only leave when I need to go to the store or take kids to an activity. So they won't be left alone for long if at all while in my care. About: Since childhood, I have always had a special connection with animals, always drawn to them. I have cared for cats, dogs, and other small critters since I can remember. I am now the proud owner of 4 large dogs, 5 cats, a lionhead rabbit, and fish. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. About: I am 31 years old and have taken care of pets for as long as two months to weekends. I have spent the most time with dogs of varying sizes as well as cats. I usually watch pets in the summer when I am not working as a teacher. The most pets I have done at a time is four, two dogs, a cat and duck for two months. I have summers off as a teacher!
