About: I have had pets my entire life. At this time, I am petless, so I would love to love on your pets. Family and friends have relied on me to watch, walk, and play with their furry friends. I and my husband are retired so we have a lot of time to spend with your dog and will walk them a few times a day and play with them. They will always have someone with them. I take younger dogs for a morning, afternoon and night walk. I adjust the number of walks and distance if they are older dogs. I also play with them. They can sleep on the bed and furniture.

“We’ve always used family members to look after our fur babies, but this time they came on vacation with us, and we were left with no one to look after Riley and Murphy. Thank goodness we found Susan – she was absolutely terrific! Right off the bat when we first met Susan, we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets. During the time away Susan sent us text messages and photos which really put our minds at ease. Our one cat, Murphy, is very timid and doesn’t usually come out while strangers are around. Susan was concerned when he wouldn’t come out for dinner. I reassured her that he would come out when he got hungry. I ratted Murphy’s hiding spot out, and she was able to feed him there the next day. I had to laugh when I received the text that she was “quite determined to make friends with Murphy.” By the end of the week Murphy was coming out for dinner and even let Susan pet him! I knew she would win him over 😊 We would not hesitate to use Susan again to look after not only our kitties but our home. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you, Susan! About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I love to walk and play with them and also have snuggle time if they like that. My schedule is flexible to accommodate their needs! I have not done injections but am willing to do if trained I’m retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pet in my home or come to your home for check-ins and walks. I have a fenced yard and am close to a local state park for long walks. I also live in a very walkable subdivision. I don’t mind a well behaved pet on furniture.

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was 9 years old. I LOVE dogs--especially small ones! I have trained all of my dogs. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.
About: I have always had a dog growing up, so I learned from a very young age how to care for a pet. Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their dogs since I was around 12 years old. This includes stopping in the house to take them to the bathroom and feeding them, as well as giving medication if needed. Lots of snuggles and playtime too of course! I have taken care of dogs in the client's home for up to a week and cared for them at my home as well. No need to worry about any complex feeding schedules. I can manage it all. I am very comfortable with any age, breed, and sized dog! I have a one-year-old pup, so I am very familiar with training and puppy classes. I have volunteered at the humane society and when I was in high school, I job shadowed at a veterinary clinic. I currently work as a substitute teacher so my schedule is extremely flexible! During the summer months I am completely open. Weekdays and weekends any time of day. I make my own schedule so there will be no conflicts. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for some off leash playtime! My dog loves to run around playing fetch with a ball or stick. I have a walking path across the street from my home and am walking distance to nature hill for some extra exercise. I always have water, waste bags and small treats with me when going on walks. (My dogs personal favorites are cheerios). I am comfortable walking with any leash, collar or harness. I have two kennels in my living room if your dog needs to be crated. At least one crate is big enough to fit a large or XL dog. I have a baby gate in front of my stairs, and the basement door is always shut. I personally love going to the pet store or drive thru to get my pet a pup cup! I would be more than happy to take your dog for an adventure and for some extra love and enrichment!

About: Hello people of Rover! I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with dogs, guinea pigs and a hamster. I’m still very passionate about animals. I have corgis and still keep guinea pigs at home. When I was younger, I volunteered at HAWS as a cat socializer and Elmbrook Humane Society as a small animal socializer and cage cleaner. About: From a young age i’ve always loved animals, having grown up with 4+ animals in the house at all times i learned very quickly my love for animals. i have worked at 2 vets in the past and 2 doggy daycares, those jobs showed me how much i really wanted to care for animals, and while i am not working at this time id still like to devote time to helping people out and making dogs happy with walks and play time and company, i have cared for dogs weighing from under 10 pounds all the way to almost 200 pounds, i do have some experience with administering medication orally and with a needle if needed. i cared for my elderly cat in the past and my elderly dog now, I've given insulin shots and given pills, I am more than comfortable handling that, I found by putting the pill in a small treat nine times out of ten they don’t even notice it’s in there! I know what the feeling is like to have to leave your animals behind when you go on vacation or wherever, but i would love to make them feel happy and loved while your gone! I care for all animals the way I would care for my own pets. my schedule is open now so even if you have a puppy who needs extra potty breaks i’m available to come up to every 2-3 hours if needed. i’m really flexible and can work with everyone at the moment i am not working so this actually works out very well with me im relatively open for pet care:) i just have a few scattered doctors appointments throughout the week in my clients home I will make sure to follow any rules and or guidelines that are expected of the animals and myself obviously as I am in someone else’s home..
