“We’ve always used family members to look after our fur babies, but this time they came on vacation with us, and we were left with no one to look after Riley and Murphy. Thank goodness we found Susan – she was absolutely terrific! Right off the bat when we first met Susan, we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets. During the time away Susan sent us text messages and photos which really put our minds at ease. Our one cat, Murphy, is very timid and doesn’t usually come out while strangers are around. Susan was concerned when he wouldn’t come out for dinner. I reassured her that he would come out when he got hungry. I ratted Murphy’s hiding spot out, and she was able to feed him there the next day. I had to laugh when I received the text that she was “quite determined to make friends with Murphy.” By the end of the week Murphy was coming out for dinner and even let Susan pet him! I knew she would win him over 😊 We would not hesitate to use Susan again to look after not only our kitties but our home. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you, Susan! I and my husband are retired so we have a lot of time to spend with your dog and will walk them a few times a day and play with them. They will always have someone with them. About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

We both grew up with large breed dogs but I have also had toy breeds. I currently am a stay at home mom and will rarely need to be gone from home for very long. About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 5, my sister is a vet and I always have access to ask her any questions if something were to ever happen, I hope to own my own hobby farm one day! I currently a work at Wctc and my hours are 4pm to 9pm Monday thru Thursday, off Fridays and 730 am to 430pm Saturdays, off Sundays I am available before and after my shifts. Currently, while living at home in the summers, we have snakes, lizards, spiders, a cat, and three dogs, one of which is mine. I do have some flexibility on Fridays and am happy to discuss specific timing upon request. Weekends are generally open unless otherwise marked unavailable on my calendar. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your pet’s needs—I’ll always do my best to accommodate when possible! At this time, I do not have the means to board pets at my house for an extended stay but am looking into it in the future.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all sizes, from small breeds to large dogs. I am comfortable feeding, walking, playing with, and providing companionship for pets, as well as following any specific care instructions. As a previous pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to make sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I am available during most weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I coach youth basketball in the evenings and occasionally have weekend tournaments, but I plan my schedule carefully and communicate availability clearly to ensure pets receive consistent, reliable care and attention. I live in a gated community with a secure, fenced dog park that provides a safe space for dogs to exercise and play. I also have two friendly cats in my home. If a pet is staying with me for boarding, I can keep them separated from my cats if needed to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. “Lauren is so amazing! Winter has very bad separation anxiety and we are always nervous everytime we leave him. It’s our first time to leave winter with Lauren but she did a very good job! She is very professional, updates us about Winter and most of all she is very passionate about taking care of dogs especiallys with dogs with separation anxiety and that made Winter feel very comfortable and enjoyed his stay with her. Winter had a lot of walks with her and he even made his way into the couch to sit with her. Plus he ate his food and treats and allowed Lauren to wipe his paws after walks. This is very unusual with Winter because he doesnt trust easily especially with someone whom he just met. But this made us think he was so comfortable with Lauren and he was happy with her. We are also happy knowing that Winter was well taken care of and we had a stress free short out of town trip. Thank you Lauren and Noah. We are so grateful for your help ❤️🙏🏻 highly recommended!”
