“Elizabeth did an excellent job caring for my two cats over a long weekend. She was punctual, kind, and quick to learn my cats' specific routines. I have one cat who is quite shy and typically hides from visitors (even family members who visit regularly), but Elizabeth managed to earn his trust on the very first visit. My other cat requires an inhaler twice a day and can be quite squirmy, but Elizabeth administered the dosages without any issues. Elizabeth sent updates after every drop-in visit, complete with cute photos. She even watered my flowers outside. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my pets and my home were in good hands while I was away.”

About: I have been pet sitting for 20+ years and it might be one of my favorite ‘jobs’ because no part of it has ever felt like a job. Pets are family. I will make sure the appropriate number of scritches or pats are given per pet. I am also able to check in on cats at their home, knowing it is less stressful on the animal. About: I've had more than 2 dogs in my home my entire life, from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience giving the dogs medicine when they need it. I work part time at a retail store, so I am never working more than 9 hours at a time, I usually only work 4-5 hours normally. About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile and spend Summers in WI and Winters in AZ. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. Your dog will be treated like one of our own, getting lots of love and attention during the day and can sleep overnight in a doggy bed or crate whichever is preferred.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently have both dogs and cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I have previous experience pet sitting for both dogs and cats, including feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, and making sure pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. I’m patient and attentive and understand that every pet is different—some love lots of activity and attention, while others prefer a calm and quiet environment. I’m happy caring for pets of all temperaments and will make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while you’re gone. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to plan my day around pet care. I’m able to take breaks for walks, check-ins, feeding, and playtime throughout the day. Since I already care for my own pets daily, adding pet visits or walks fits naturally into my routine. I currently only offer care in my client’s home. I try to keep pets on the same routine they’re used to when their owners are there, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or bedtime routines. My days are free Monday-Sunday 24/7. I do same day bookings or bookings in advance whenever you would need. About: I have had pets my entire life and fostered many. I presently have a 17 year old Dachshund and a 13 year old Chihuahua that get along well with visiting dogs. I do work part time out of the home. I am able to tend to the pets through out the day as needed. I can provide home made human grade food if needed. Also on leash walks. I have a lead for dogs that need that, I also have the time to take them for walks. Otherwise I have a large country yard.

About: I’ve always been a lover of animals and always had a dog and cat in my house growing up. I’ve worked as a dog groomer for 2 years and miss having the everyday interaction with dogs and cats. I have an emotional support dog of my own, his name is Avett and he’s my little man he came to work at the groomers with me and is friendly with all dogs. Being able to comfort an animal is emotionally fulfilling and being able to treat and cuddle them brings so much joy I love them all as my own. I have a beautiful fenced in yard and home that is able to be a safe haven for your loves when you need help with care. About: I’ve had pets all my life and have fostered 30+ puppies and dogs over the years. I have experience in puppy training, high anxiety dogs, shy dogs, active dogs and seniors. I work from home and am home 24/7. We have lots of playtime outside in the backyard especially when the weather is nice. I have lots of toys, a doggy pool and a yard to play in! I have a 5ft fully fenced in yard that allows my dogs to get lots of playtime, including a doggy pool. I am home all day so your pet will not be left alone.

About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. I wouldn’t just be some dog watcher, I would be their friend that plays with them and loves being with them.
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. We love to go on walks and to the dog park with our pup and would love to do the same with yours! Our pup loves to be with friends! I work from home full time so I am able to go on walks at any time of the day and take breaks to run them in the open green space I have to tire them out! Our townhome has a ton of open green space around that we like to take our dog to run around and play fetch. We also have a lot of walking trails around that we like to go on for long walks.
