“Tammie is always great with my pups! She is their happy home away from home. Great care, great sitter, great people. I wouldn’t want to take my girls anywhere else for extended care.😊”

“Shawn and Joey were great sitters for my dog Ivy! They were flexible with scheduling, sent updates and pictures and were super kind throughout everything. Ivy and their dog Mindy got along great and they have a nice yard for them to play in. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a sitter in the area!”

“Brandi was very communicative and understanding. They were flexible when we had to drop off the dogs due to travel accommodations. Our dogs felt right at home and had a blast playing with the other dogs.”

“Andrea was wonderful. My dog Gracie has severe anxiety and it wasn’t going to work, unfortunately. I ended up having to leave work and take her home. I felt bad for Andrea, but she reassured me she was fine with everything. Some dogs just don’t do well in other people’s homes. Anita”

Dogs I keep with me at all times. I
“Nothing but great things to say about Kara & Ben. They took such great care of my two dogs while I was away for the weekend. I am not from the area and this was my first time using Rover for boarding so I was a little anxious. Both Kara and Ben provided pictures and reassurance that they were being well cared for. I am very appreciative! 10/10 recommend 😊”

“Randee was great with Louie! We will not hesitate to have Louie stay with Randee again. Randee was very accommodating and understanding when we had to adjust some drop off and arrival times.”

“Xao was AMAZING?!! She took care of my Skyy extremely well!! I was so pleased with all the pics and videos I rec'd bc they showed my fur baby so happy! About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.
“I had an amazing first experience using the Rover app with Melissa! Chopper seemed comfortable, happy, and well taken care of the entire time. Melissa communicated incredibly well and sent lots of updates and pictures, which gave me a peace of mind. She was also very sweet, flexible with her availability, and active with Chopper. Melissa took Chopper on several long walks, and it was clear he had a great time with her. I would definitely recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a caring, active, and reliable sitter. I look forward to booking with her again for Chopper in the future!”

“Brooke was OUTSTANDING with our pup! Daily updates with pictures, tons of lovings and cuddles, and plenty of walks while we were away. We brought home one very happy boy! I highly recommend her when you're in need of the best out there to take care of your fur baby!”

“Bethany watched Hazel for a brief overnight stay. Bethany was very engaged and knowledgeable. I am very confident with Hazel in her care. I hope to be able to use her services again.”

“Anyone looking for a awesome person to take care of your pets, I would highly recommend her, especially after the Blizzard 2026 and being out of town and she made it to my pets and made sure they were safe and taken care off! Thank you!”

“Nicole is a wonderful pet sitter. My cat is elderly, requires medication and space to just be an old lady. Nicole successfully cared for her while I was away. She even managed to find her way to the house during unforseen road and waterline construction that started immediately in front of my home! Nicole is personable and professional and provided great photos each day. Would absolutely book again!”

“Julia did a great job. She met my kitties before her visit. She checked in and sent pics to show me how they’re doing. She also took the time to send a little update. She does a great job!”

“Sydney was a wonderful sitter for my Petra!! She sent me many photos and updates, and even took my trash out. She was so great with my kitty and provided a sense of relief since I was out of town!”

“Jennifer is great! She took great care of my cat and kept me in the loop on everything going on at home while I was away. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good pet sitter while they are away.”

“I highly recommend Ashley, she took excellent care of our two kitties showing her experience, knowledge, and love for animals. She took the time to meet us, making sure she understood all my instructions while also getting to know our kitties and what makes them feel comfortable. She is a great communicator and gave us consistent updates with lots of pics. The level of care she showed became obvious when we were met by two calm, happy kitties.”

“Sarah sent updates after each drop in with comments and pictures. She was timely, professional and our cat really enjoyed the playtime she provided. We will definitely be booking again and really appreciate all of her services.”

About: ****Our family is growing June 2026. We will be taking a pause from watching our four-legged friends starting in June '26 and expect to resume services in September '26. May '26 bookings may be possible, and we will start considering bookings for September and beyond starting in August**** Together we both have extensive experience with dogs of all ages and types. We have experience raising puppies, including those being raised to be future service dogs. Additionally, we have experience working with special needs dogs that are blind or require daily insulin treatment. We currently have two dogs, a 5 year old black lab and a 2 year old golden retriever. Both are highly socialized and get along well with dogs of all sizes/personalities. Ochai is well-known at the Rib Mountain dog park as being one of the sweetest dogs to people and dogs alike. We both volunteer our time at the Humane Society of Marathon County. Furthering our experiences with dogs of many backgrounds and temperaments. You may see a featured adoptable dog that is currently at the shelter in our photos. This dog is one we personally think may be a great addition to a family, especially one that already has a dog! Sometimes we send our dogs to daycare so we can open up our home to a shelter dog for the day and give them the relaxing day they deserve so much. Of course, on the days we do this, we aren't available to offer daycare/boarding. If you have a HSMC graduate pup from May 2023 onward we would love to see our old friends again! Please let us know and we will offer a free day of boarding or daycare as a token of appreciation for adopting a HSMC pup! When we confirm a booking you should know that at least one of us will likely be with your dog at all times, day or night. We both work from home quite often and before confirming a reservation we will check/adjust our schedules to make sure someone is going to be home during the day. It is important to your pup's experience and safety that someone is watching them at all times. NEW! Tractive GPS Tracking The safety and wellbeing of your dog is always important to us and we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet behind. That is why we have added a GPS tracker to utilize. Not only will your furry loved one's location always be known at any given second, but we can also track their health to make sure they are doing well during their stay. -We currently only have one device, so it is not a guarantee your dog will be utilizing it during their stay. If you would like to guarantee it for your pup during their stay, we can accommodate these types of requests at the time of booking for $5/night or $25/stay. -We can share access to the tracker so you can know your pups location at any time and can check in on their health. It will show various information like their sleep activity and exercise information. This is only available if you reserve the tracker ahead of their stay. ---NEW! We are now privately insured outside of Rover. This allows additional and even more comprehensive coverage for your pup while they stay with us. Through PSA we are able to offer up to $2,500 in deductible free veterinary care if your pup gets hurt/ill.--- Our house features a spacious half acre yard that is fully fenced in. You will get plenty of pictures and updates of your pup under our care. Please let us know the frequency of pictures/updates you would like and we will be happy to show you how your pup is doing. If the weather is nice, I will try to get outside and take some pictures with an actual camera for you to enjoy. Our goal is to provide quality care and take care of your pup just as much as we do our own. We love helping people and having them know their pup is being well cared for when you can't be with them.

“Jesika went above and beyond for our Abby Lou. In the past, if someone struggled to give Abby her medicine, they would give up and say sorry there’s nothing I can do and we’d be struggling to find a last minute sitter while already out of town but not Jesika! She went home and literally cooked a meal to mix her meds in with. 😊 Your pets are in good hands here. 🐾”

“Cassidy was amazing with our 2 kitties! This was our first week away since we adopted them 2 years ago, and I was very nervous as I didn’t know how they would react. Cassidy was wonderful with keeping us updated with their care. Everything I requested, she took care of. She really put my mind at ease. We will definitely request her help again in the future :)”

About: When my sweet Sophie Dog of 14 years passed, I was heartbroken. Since then, I've helped family members with their pets. I'm an animal lover! Dogs, cats, cows...anyway, I have so much love to give to your dog. I've been a pet owner since 1975. I work from home and set my own schedule, so your sweet fur baby will get so much attention. I love to take pups for walks and play fetch. My back yard is fenced and large enough for having fun! If stairs are a concern, I can gate them for safety. Your pet will be my first priority!
“We immediately felt comfortable leaving Quito at Nick and Dorothy's despite never having used Rover before. They were responsive, quick to provide photos of our pup, and were very, clearly "dog people." 10/10 would recommend.”

“Erik has been wonderful. He is available during my last minute lunch meetings, or pop up events, to let my puppy out and stretch her legs during a walk. She was shy on the leash when I first adopted her but he has improved her tolerance for walking and is showing improvements. He is so patient and updates me with pictures which is so sweet to see her enjoying each other's company! I am so grateful and happy I found Erik on Rover. I have two cats and a dog of my own and I’m looking forward to providing care for your furry family members For the month of September I will be unavailable Monday-Thursday, and from October on I will be unavailable Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I am a great option if you are looking for Wednesday doggy daycare, or looking for someone to watch your pet for the weekend. Please feel free to reach out even if I am marked as unavailable to see if we can work something out for you. Every pet is different so I will be sure to follow any instructions the pet owner leaves for me. I have done babysitting and pet sitting for many different people and different homes so I am used to using extra care with other peoples pets and space.
“Caterina and Josiah were absolutely perfect - communicative, dependable, interested in the dogs' individual needs, clear about our expectations and needs and great with the dogs.. Caterina did the walking most of the time and let us know if it would be Josiah at any time. We received pictures and information for each walk, even though we live in an area where cell service is sketchy. We are grateful!”

About: I have owned horses and dogs my whole life and have a love for animals. I have been watching family friend’s dogs for years and I wanted to get more into pet sitting/walking! I also volunteered at the humane society all throughout college so I have a lot of experience with cats of all personalities as well as dogs that may be shy or have triggers. I currently work from home 3 out of the 5 days which makes it easy for me to pet sit during the week and ensuring full care!! I also work 7 am to 3:15 pm so I have all afternoon to do any dog walks and check ins! At my home I have room for a crate if needed. I also have a long leash for going potty outside along with leashes to go for many walks!

“Nick and Dorothy cared for my fur baby like it was their own offering daily walks, playtime, and lots and lots of love. Great fenced back yard. Lots of updates and pics. Would highly recommend”

About: I’m a traveling pet sitter and I love hanging out with all animals! I'm a member to both this and TrustedHouseSitters so I have references on there if you wish to see those I can send screen shots. My girlfriend, Debbie and I travel everywhere by car I'm currently only doing pet / house sitting at your house. If you’d like to FaceTime ahead of time that would be great. I'm excited to meet your dog or cat! I love being around pets so I go on walks or hangout around the house with the dog(s) and provide a safe and chill environment.

“Goose was so happy staying with Leora. I was in town for business before heading to Carbondale to attend a memorial for my brother who passed in March. While I’ve had to work Goose stayed for both boarding and day care. He was happy to see me and happy to go back. I recommend Leora”
