“I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to have a great adventure!!”

About: I am currently a LVT (licensed veterinary technician) since 2020. I can medicate animals and help pets with special needs. I grew up with animals and have lots of experience working with them daily. I am a full time licensed vet tech. I have one day off a week that varies and I am available after 5:30 during the work week and available some weekends! I can stop by on weekends to care for your best friend and take them on walks after work or exercise them once a week for a longer period of time.

About: I've cared for a total of 8 kitties in my lifetime, from the daily feeding and litter scooping to claw trimming to intensive palliative care, and the 12 weeks of injections for Minky's FIP (she is totally healthy now!), and Poppy's twice daily epilepsy meds. I can handle any and all of it! Now I have 3 cats. Moki, my 16 yo boy, Minky, who's 3, and Poppy, the youngest at 2 years old. We all love our play sessions, whether that's with their wand and feather toy, their colorful springs, or exploring the outdoors in their harnesses. About: I specialize in large dog breeds as I have 1 Pyrenees and 1 golden retriever myself. They are both very well trained and certified ESA’s. I don’t have any special skills such as pet training, just really good with dogs. I am a full time nurse and I’m off every other week. I would love to take/walk dogs on my weeks off. I have always had a dog in my family. I’d love to hang out with your furry friends! I have two big loving dogs to keep yours company. We will spend a lot of time outside hiking and going for walks! If your pet is not staying at my house we will still have fun going for runs, walks, or being outside.

About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.

About: I've lived with dogs off an on my whole life. I have experience walking, crating, training, feeding, mild grooming and administering meds. I love dogs and cats equally! I work most weekdays 8-4. My job has many days off plus school breaks so I'm available those days as well. My cats at home need insulin shots twice a day so I need to be able to go home when needed. I know a lot about body language and how to read the signs of what they’re feeling meaning that I can give them what they need in the moment. About: I have two dogs of my own, both golden doodles, who I take care of daily! I do daily feedings, walks, and brushing. I have experience in both daytime check ins and overnight stays with dogs. I am very active and enjoy taking dogs on walks, running around the backyard, or just relaxing in the house! I am flexible in the work I do and can’t wait to meet your pet:) I am currently a college student attending UMD! I have a flexible schedule with classes and am available to do a variety of check in times! :) I care for my own pets by taking them on daily walks, creating activities that engage them, and brush their fur. I will care for clients pets in whatever ways are necessary for the specific animal!
About: I have been working as a CNA with the majority of my time being focused on senior care for the past 2 years. I have 2 dogs at home and occasionally dog sit for my neighbors and family members. I am a college student with very flexible weekday timing! I have a bunch of random gaps in my day making it easy to stop by or a quick walk! I will not offer pet care in my home as my lease does not allow it. I am very dependable and caring towards all animals!

“I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to have a great adventure!!”
