“Lauren is so amazing! Winter has very bad separation anxiety and we are always nervous everytime we leave him. It’s our first time to leave winter with Lauren but she did a very good job! She is very professional, updates us about Winter and most of all she is very passionate about taking care of dogs especiallys with dogs with separation anxiety and that made Winter feel very comfortable and enjoyed his stay with her. Winter had a lot of walks with her and he even made his way into the couch to sit with her. Plus he ate his food and treats and allowed Lauren to wipe his paws after walks. This is very unusual with Winter because he doesnt trust easily especially with someone whom he just met. But this made us think he was so comfortable with Lauren and he was happy with her. My older cat is a diabetic with severe skin issues requiring multiple medications on an alternating schedule in addition to her twice a day insulin. She did a good job asking questions and making sure Kitten got the medications she needed on the correct schedule. She successfully gave both oral and injection medication and Kitten was in great shape when I got back (which is not always the case after a vacation due to her detailed care needs). There were some minor things that came up but those were mostly me being very particular about some specifics and in the end, were not that important and didn't affect the care of the cats. The house was clean and the cat food and litter box trash taken out, which I appreciated.”

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

“Gracie had an amazing stay with Joanne (& her family!) I enjoyed the communications and pictures during Gracie’s time in their home. Gracie enjoyed playtime with the kids and with the resident dog, Olivia. She had her kennel available, but enjoyed cuddles with their teenage son and quickly made herself a part of the family. I will certainly consider booking for future stays, and recommend Joanne to others!”
“This was our first time using Rover and the first time our dog stayed with a sitter and we had a wonderful experience. Jenifer did an excellent job caring for Ellie and seemed attentive to her needs. It is difficult to leave your pet for a week, but also reassuring to know they are in good hands while you are gone. “Heather was the best ! Boarding Zoe with Heather & her family at their wonderful home was a perfect match for me (& Zoe!) Heather is very organized & prepared to deal with hosting a dog's individual behavior and adapting to their routine for the best results. Heather - having her own dog and another daycare dog to keep company & play with Zoe - was a perfect situation. She was very flexible with my drop-off & pick-up schedule which made all my travel arrangements "a breeze" with no worries. I couldn't be more pleased & recommend Heather without any hesitation. “Lauren is so amazing! Winter has very bad separation anxiety and we are always nervous everytime we leave him. It’s our first time to leave winter with Lauren but she did a very good job! She is very professional, updates us about Winter and most of all she is very passionate about taking care of dogs especiallys with dogs with separation anxiety and that made Winter feel very comfortable and enjoyed his stay with her. Winter had a lot of walks with her and he even made his way into the couch to sit with her. Plus he ate his food and treats and allowed Lauren to wipe his paws after walks. This is very unusual with Winter because he doesnt trust easily especially with someone whom he just met. But this made us think he was so comfortable with Lauren and he was happy with her. We are also happy knowing that Winter was well taken care of and we had a stress free short out of town trip. Thank you Lauren and Noah. We are so grateful for your help ❤️🙏🏻 highly recommended!”

“Laura took such good care of our dog, Plum, for a week while we were out of town. She sent me photo updates of Plum playing with her dog Diesel every day, and it was clear that her family was showing him so much love. I am so grateful to Laura for watching over Plum for us and being so responsive, reliable, and warm. Her house was also super close to the airport which made pick up / drop of very convenient and a safe fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I highly recommend booking with Laura and will do so again next time!”
About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.
“Went great! This was a last minute booking when we needed to get away for the weekend. I never met Brooke, but her husband got down low when he greeted my dog, and my dog Blue immediately "kissed" him. That was unusually fast! Must have felt super comfortable with him because he went right into the house and never looked back at me. I was given pics and videos each day and felt comfortable with him being there.”
“Mikaela and Shane are AMAZING!!!! They took such great care of our Maisy while we were away for 5 nights!! Communication was great and prompt, our meet and greet went great and they knew we were a little nervous leaving our girl with a new family so they sent pictures and updates daily that really helped ease my worried mama mind. “What can I say about Yolanda? She is simply amazing. I call her the dog whisperer. My little Sherrie can be very shy and nervous around strangers, but she took to Yolanda right away. Yolanda sent me pictures every day and my little dog was smiling. And when I came to pick her up, I can tell she wasnt stressed. Of course, she was happy to see me but I can tell that she had a wonderful time if you're on the fence about booking Yolanda, don't be. She has wonderful energy and so does her husband. I look forward to dropping off Sherrie for playdates in the future.”
