I knew they were being treated like part of her family. She sent videos and pictures to keep me updated. My big dog ended up having some stomach issues and Candi didn’t skip a beat. We called my vet and she picked up some meds and got her back on track. Her four dogs were great with mine - they had such a blast. Not sure who enjoyed the vacation more, me or the dogs. About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.

“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. I work Monday through Friday but have plenty of time on evenings and weekends for interaction and exercise with your dog. Your dog can expect 2-3 walks a day, being outside as much as possible and lots of interaction from our kids when staying with us. We have a single family home with an un-fenced backyard, however your dog will never be left unsupervised outside. Your dog will receive the same care as if it were ours.

I've taken care of both dogs and cats for over 4 years. Neighbors family and friends have counted on me to walk, feed, and make sure they go to the bathroom. I also work part time at a local pet daycare center so I've gotten to know pets very quickly. Each pet I've cared for has left their pawprint on my heart in some way shape or form-and forever will! Over the years, I have enjoyed the canine companionship of an English Springer Spaniel, a pug, and (currently) three dogs: Tallulah (a poodle-cattle dog mix), Ladybug (a teddybear), and Millie (a dachshund mix). All of my dogs have been rescues/adoptions. An animal-lover, I've dog-sat and pet-sat on-and-off for years, caring for dogs, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and even an iguana or two! About: I have had experience with both cats and dogs since I was a toddler. In my teens, I became active on surrounding farms so I also bonded with horses and cows. I have experience in dog walking and house sitting for pets. I'm currently a college student, so my summers are very open to fit most times and schedules. I likely will be working a second shift part-time job during the week days. I have a fenced-in yard and two cats. I'm comfortable taking care of all sizes of pets, and I love walking dogs. I knew they were being treated like part of her family. She sent videos and pictures to keep me updated. My big dog ended up having some stomach issues and Candi didn’t skip a beat. We called my vet and she picked up some meds and got her back on track. Her four dogs were great with mine - they had such a blast. Not sure who enjoyed the vacation more, me or the dogs. About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.
“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. The personal touches are unmatched to anything we’ve experienced in the past and we will absolutely recommend her every chance we get! Thank you Cilyr!”
About: Our family has always been surrounded by animals, and we’ve loved dog sitting for friends and neighbors over the years. While we are not ready to own a dog yet, my kids and I would love to take yours for the weekend! We have a backyard and a large park close by for getting outside so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, play, and exercise. You can expect lots of interaction, attention, and a warm family environment where your pet will feel right at home. I work Monday through Friday but have plenty of time on evenings and weekends for interaction and exercise with your dog. Your dog can expect 2-3 walks a day, being outside as much as possible and lots of interaction from our kids when staying with us. We have a single family home with an un-fenced backyard, however your dog will never be left unsupervised outside. Your dog will receive the same care as if it were ours.

I’ve provided both day and night care, and handled meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, and cleaning. Hello!! I am a soon to be stay-at-home momma who will have lots of available time to watch/play with/or walk your furry friends! I currently have a dog and a cat of my own but they are very friendly and loving with all animals big or small. I would love to board your animals in my home! But, they must be friendly with both dogs and cats as I have one of each who are very sweet and get along with everyone! All supplies will need to be dropped off with your furry friend as well as I don’t have extra kennels (if your pup uses one) or extra supplies.
